I just re-watched 'All the President's Men' last month. It still holds up very well. Still retains it's relevance. Still one of my favorite movies of all time. And it also stars Jason Robards, one of my favorite actors. Great movie!
Husband and I watched this over the weekend. We talked about it in depth for days. We haven't discussed a film and its story in a very long time. Finally, time well spent watching this one.
Even those of us who were handsome for about 5-10 years in our twenties, broke hearts and got all full of ourselves for a time...then the years took most or all of it way. Imagine Redford who was GORGEOUS (and I'm hetero, but I can still say it) his entire life and still, at least publically, always kept his humanity, his empathy and his class. That is class.
Geez.........sapp is an understatement of that comment. He plays "make believe" for a living .....he's not a canonized saint for christ's sake................
What an outstanding human being. He has consistently been remarkably skilled and flawless in his craft decade upon decade. What an amazing talent. Not something you really see in film anymore these days. Just love his work.
I love what came to this interview, Robert hit on the most important fact. The young people will bring back what has been lost and Americans need to pay attention to what really matters, taking care of one another and getting to the truth of what matters. People need people and we need a President who actually cares about doing the right thing for our country, not a make believe President who just loves power and money, that's Trump, and he ran our country and citizens in a very wrong direction. Thank you for sharing this with all of us. Too many Americans are just plain lost. Life is about real emotions, real struggles and real issues and we need to pay attention.
I don't think Miah Leissa was talking about only his looks. Why are people so focused on the way someone looks? Especially when you get to a certain age. It doesn't matter.

I just watched Our Souls at Night. It was such a touching utterly amazing film. I can't imagine anyone other than Redford and Fonda managing to pull it off.
