I knew nothing about Robert Redford’s early personal and professional life. This video was so well done and informative. It is interesting that Redford was artistic and athletic as well.
It is well known for every good looking people in the world. No need to be a star to experiment the curse of beauty.... but don’t be sorry for them beauty helps in a certain mesure in life.
@@stevesandwichproductions1043 Agree. A perfect cast. Polanski is brilliant. Kinda surprised he wanted Redford who was much too much of a pretty boy to carry that role and as far as Weld goes she did a great turn in Looking for Mr. Goodbar opposite Diane Keaton. One of my favorite movies with its cynical look at relationships.
@@jerrylee8261 Dude! I couldn't agree more with every point you made! I admire Polanski. He is a genius, but he should have known better. Rosemary's Baby, in my opinion, is as close to perfection as I have ever seen.
Love the pic of him at 0:50. Gives insight into what's inside of him. Never cared for his politics but loved him in The Sting and Ordinary People is a classic with an outstanding unexpected performance by Mary Tyler Moore.
There is something about him. There were many attractive actors, like Paul Newman, but every time when I saw him in movies I thought this is someone you could really fall in love with.
This is the second video of yours that I have watched. Well, skimmed over is more accurate. The life of both Randolf Scott and Robert Redford is interesting, no doubt, but your video titles are a scam. Why do you insist on "click baiting"? It isn't necessary I can tell you.
I saw him in Park City when my friend wanted to buy a tee shirt. I was right next to him. He had the worst acne scars and skin I've ever seen. Looked like he NEVER used sunscreen. I was utterly shocked.
Yeah... you can kind of see something going on with his skin in the way we were. I was trying to figure what it was exactly (scar or acne). Handsome but I did find it a little distracting to the fantasy and all. Still beautiful.
Oft due everything “ handed “ to one then and it can take Years before one gets honoured on ones own talents , hard work . A sappy narrative does not help either as is on here .
Redford has so many really good movies that can be watched over and again. A great artist. He didn't age well, though. Can't believe how un-handsome he is.
I agree he has aged badly. Kinda surprising seeing as how beautiful he was. Makes me wonder if he had some clandestine meetings with some males in his younger days who might have appealed to him.
His ’beauty’ was completely lost on me. I’ve always felt like it was his only asset on the screen and that there was nothing else interesting about him, like personality for instance. Bland as bland can be. It got him a long way in the movie business but it’s hard to admire anyone who attains success purely based on their face. His acting has never been tested due to him being typecast as the pretty boy.

@@dianaweld7777 Early life she was pretending to be JFK.
Beauty does not last making it hard for the person who has lost it.
Soo cute. Saw Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid countless many times back at the old Aptos Twin movie theater back when. Great memories, great times.
Robert Redford is Hollywood’s treasure. He’s perfect.
Paul Newman & Steve McQueen were so handsome too😍 Thanks AOV💋
Paul, yes. Steve? Ew, no.
Wow Robert Redford one of a kind, not only handsome but a cracking good actor and person💕

Just the most handsome, wise and humble man Hollywood has ever seen 😍 A real gentleman 🤴🏼Bye bye latin lovers! 👋
Frank Sinatra was envious of his good looks and said some catty remark that Redford ought to marry himself.
Easy now….
Thank you but you forgot to mention that wonderful film.
This Property is Condemned.😊
Also "Inside Daisy Clover." (Both were co-starred with Natalie Wood.)
Love Him in This Property Is Condemned.
He has always been my heartthrob. Would love to meet him one day.
Un'icona cinematografica..🎉❤
fact: Robert redford was almost cast as the husband of mia farrow in Rosemary's baby which is considered to be one of the most curse movies
A great movie but think John Cassevetes was perfectly cast as her slimy husband. Have watched several times. Most recently a coupla weeks ago.
Polanski was considering Redford and Tuesday Weld but the producer, Robert Evans, knew best. The eventual cast was perfect.

He is an actor of many talents, not just handsome. In certain shots I see Brad Pitt.
I loved robert Redford but not so much as an actor but as an activist. He was a good actor but he was also a good father and a decent human being!
My favourite film is Jeremiah Johnson
Robert Redford and Paul Newman were two hotties.
2 females.
Good-looking guy..🤣🤣
I'm surprised there's not a lengthy list of juicy scandals.
❤en av mina favoriter är robert redford ❤ kram pia
Beauty is always a blessing and a curse. As is wealth and intelligence.
Robert Redford,mmmmmmmmmm.
Nobody should be allowed to be Redford's level of good looking. They just shouldn't. It's too much.
🤭
It's a bit weird that none of the images match the commentary.
The 4 most handsome men in Hollywood were Robert Redford, Gregory Peck, Tyronne Power and Brad Pitt
Only REDFORD...
Brad Pit is a has been and a nothing

Robert Redford, Brad Pitt, Carey Grant, Tony Curtis, Gary Cooper beautiful men
He fell in love with himself

Unlike some actors who have age gracefully...he has aged badly.
He's in his 80's. He still looks damn fine

My God....he is 86 years old now. See how you survive 86
@@jerrylee8261 The he is a she!
@@Potaville Not sure what you mean.
He looks something like Bill Clinton he deffinately could have played him had president Clinton come out much earlier.
I cant see that, Clinton is around 5 inches taller with a bulbous nose and a red face .
She did play fake JFK+currently plays the fake peanut farmer fake Jimmy Carter!
You're so way off the mark about some of your misinformation about Bob Redford. Do your homework, and, goodbye.
Way off is so right! If these poor unfortunate folks only knew........
Ugh, I've never understood his appeal. Looks or otherwise.
