@@joccskates4497 Not looking like an elephant on skates was the main thing. Probably the least pleasing skater of all time, except for 6 months of her career and even then she landed every jump with a thud.
@@joccskates4497is it just me or did it seem like she got more consistent with the Salchow/Loop toward the 1994 season? it’s like she lost her focus in axels, lutzes, and flips (especially flips, she almost always doubled them) which is sad to see. how do you think she would have done if she was more consistent
She's a great athlete, aside from smoking, drinking and whatever else she did, but she certainly wasn't graceful. Did she really think clubbing Nancy was gonna change that?
After she got with Jeff her skating got worse. 🤷♀️ She could’ve been bronze medalist in 1992, but home girl showed up to albertville at the last second and was jetlagged.

It really doesn't matter how high you can jump or how fast you can skate if you don't land on your feet.
