"Homefront" titanium made in Italy for $300. Actually a very nice knife and I wouldn't have bought it if it was made in the US. Too bad crkt was once a good company.
Mine is JANKY, cool design and great looking knife, but the actuation of the blade and the spacers limited functionality, make it feel gritty and nasty when opening or closing. Disappointed, going back to my Spee-ider.
The M390 that CRKT utilizes is simply amazing, the thick geometry combined with a Rockwell hardness of 42 makes it tougher than dough and edge retention of a ceramic knife!
CRKT is upping their game with M390 and titanium. I’m glad this is happening. They needed to do it sooner. They have some really great knife designs but enthusiasm is dampened by their steel choices.
Absolutely love seeing m390 in a crkt knife. Not gonna lie there are many crkt blades I'd buy if theyd step up their materials. The homefront in 390 is already on order. I wanna see more please
I am so excited about new crkt knives.Yesterday I got a brand new crkt minimalist Bowie and I love it so much! Thank you so much Blade HQ for making such great videos for me to watch. I am so excited about blade show 2019!🔪🔪🔪😁😁😁
I got the pilars love the I feel the same but I found the steel will modus and there is a m390 blade ouly has one color of it though that's my next lol
They should have designed the case so the karambit auto-deploys when you pull it out. But I guess then what would be the point of the knife, might as well have a fixed karambit and a sheath.
$295 and still available today (14th)on the crkt website. Only 500 will be made so better hurry. To me, I can't go for it because it's made in Italy, but it looks like a great design with good materials. "Homefront" should be made in the US.
Does the Provoke sheath fit the custom Provoke? The original kickstarter one that ended up being released almost half a year after the production in brilliant "care about the customers who backed the project first" fashion....
Hello I’m trying to find the new Homefront titanium knife and no one has it can you give a part number or a site to buy it thank you!! Everyone carrying the aluminum version.
"Homefront" made in Taiwan or Italy for the titanium version. I really was hoping the titanium Anniversary Knife would have been US Made. That's crkt in a nutshell, Outsourcing most of their knives to Asia. They can't even make the "Homefront" knife in the USA. :-(
i normally don't comment these things on your channel since you're a knife retailer and thus i have no expectation for your video quality but jesus h christ please tell your editor to turn down the volume for the intro to match the rest of your video. Thanks.
I cannot STAND that dead bolt lock. The handle scales end up SO THICK!. Why do I care if I have a thin blade if it's sitting in a pocket brick? Another hard pass for me. Nice that you scaled up the Homefront to make it less cheap as a whole.
LOL "Our clip is so innovative you can't swap sides."(Provoke) HAHAH do you even listen to yourself. It's so state of the art that nothing can be adjusted. What?!?!?
5:45 Zach always puts it in wrong? Not surprised... This video would go from a -10 to a 10 if he did the whole video in sign language and let the company rep do the talking.
How about a mashup of em all instead of each company per video... or that’d be less revenue, sponsors ...I just end up going to another channel to see a general blade show vid
guys can you turn the volume down on the intro music, holy crap
James Mackintosh can u fuck off
Agreeing with James; everyone else, lovers of hatorade, have you tried not?
You blew my ears off with that intro
"I always put it in wrong, every time." - Zac Whitmore - 2019
The Provoke should be called the Clever Girl as karambits look like a raptor claw.
The new homefront is dope. Finaly with high materials. Thanks Blade HQ for the great video :)
I have loved the design but always wanted better materials and this one fits the bill well done crkt.

Sean B way higher than 42 rockwell

That homefront will probably end up in a pocket near me

Same.
Hey Blade HQ - thanks for having us over to talk shop. Always great talking knives with you guys!
The new homefront looks cool. The elephant in the room is does it still have those Nylon washers? Blade HQ???
I am so excited about new crkt knives.Yesterday I got a brand new crkt minimalist Bowie and I love it so much! Thank you so much Blade HQ for making such great videos for me to watch. I am so excited about blade show 2019!🔪🔪🔪😁😁😁
I felt the disappointment when the blade didnt deploy straight from the sheath too ;)
D2 is not 'high end' but that titanium homefront is a cool design.
Who are these people!? No Hans from Benchmade? No Ryan from CRKT??
Titanium and M390 Homefront?!?!?! Never thought I’d buy a crkt but I will now
An m390 Homefront!!!! That just makes me wanna jump around!
Finally. Homefront in an acceptable blade steel. Awesome!
M390 on a CRKT? And titanium? Hell yes! I'm stoked, that is my next CRKT knife that I pick up.
Bettering the blade steel is the best thing I’ve heard out of CRKT in a long time. I really like 14C28N and D2. Both way better than 8cr13mov.
Please do a folding Sangrador dagger with the deadbolt lock!
The deadbolt lock is so cool, someday soon...
I like that they're using better materials now..... but can we get a CRKT Pilar / Pilarge in M390 and Titanium pretty please?
I got the pilars love the I feel the same but I found the steel will modus and there is a m390 blade ouly has one color of it though that's my next lol
I have it in d2. Only thing I want is bronze washers
I really like the high end Homefront. Just wish they had retained the liner lock vs the frame lock. I still may get one though.
can't wait for what cold steel, ka-bar, zombie tools and tops has.
They should have designed the case so the karambit auto-deploys when you pull it out. But I guess then what would be the point of the knife, might as well have a fixed karambit and a sheath.
Wow really amazing/ very nice looking Crkt knife of 2019!!! :D
That sheath should open the Provoke on the draw
Not 8cr13mov? Wow crkt save some m390 for the rest of us!
Perhaps the next deadbolt they release I'll be interested in. The Homefront looked nice.
Now... THAT Homefront I can get behind!!... Gimme!
They couldn't have come out with the titanium frame lock home front at a better time. Just 2 days ago i was hoping they'd make one like that.
Like the knifes don't like silver plates on the pivots
I hope the offer a mini version of the homefront.
Best channel on UA-cam
Okay, I'm back. PLEASE find out what the price point will be for the new CRKT Homefront. Thanks!

Been waiting for this one!
I’m waiting for protech
What’s the price on the new homefront?
I need this new homefront!!!!
Innovation's great and all, but how about some traditionally shaped fixed blades CRKT? Or alternatively, wouldn't mind the Strafe with carbon steel.
Instead of m390, crkt should have ecuiped the ken onnion knife with cpm s30v or 154cm (in my opinnion), great video guys, keep it up.
Italians love to use Bohler steels. 😐
A takedown titanium pilar would be awesome
Super video, super CRKT!!!!
"We partnered with LionSteel" translation, it's expensive.
Crkt appears to be trying new materials. I personally dont trust a homefront of a provoke. I prefer the real letters that count...CRK, minis the T .
Does the Provoke sheath fit the custom Provoke? The original kickstarter one that ended up being released almost half a year after the production in brilliant "care about the customers who backed the project first" fashion....
That's absolutely ridiculous. That would really bum me out.
CRKT m390! Thank you.
Do we know the msrp of that homefront??
My thought exactly! Love it, but what's the price?!
Hello I’m trying to find the new Homefront titanium knife and no one has it can you give a part number or a site to buy it thank you!! Everyone carrying the aluminum version.
I need a pilar like the steel will modus has a $40 Version and A$140 version is there anything in the works for the pilar?
I think they did a D2 version, but idk about anything else

Asia has better knife producers
It's like Christmas
can you guys please mix your music in the beginning at a lower volume
Cool stuff
The homefront better not have teflon washers still
The BladeHq guy always knows more than the guy representing the company, except for Spyderco
As long as the homefront runs teflon washers, it will not have a place in my pocket no matter how high end the steel and handles are.
CST buy your own washers and replace them? They’re like 2 bucks or something.
@@Surago They are press fit into the handle and pretty thick. It is not as easy as it sounds
Kool, kool,kool
I like the provoke but the case isn’t for me
I messed up I mis-read it as Chris Reeve Knives lol
AT LEAST I KNOW THIS WILL BE LONGER AND BETTER THAN BENCHMADE
you left your caps lock on
@@andrewgreiner4681 I did that on purpose
David Raful congrats on missing the joke
is it just me or could you guys also see the blade damage on that new homefront?
Checked it, little bit of roll under the CRKT 'C' is it? wouldn't exactly call that damage.
i normally don't comment these things on your channel since you're a knife retailer and thus i have no expectation for your video quality but jesus h christ please tell your editor to turn down the volume for the intro to match the rest of your video. Thanks.
That's it? 1 new knife and two remakes?
CRKT PLEASE MAKE A LARGER MINIMALIST
A maximalist
CRKT, hire this person.
".... I have enough here for a small child you can make...."
I carry my homefront everyday
Please turn up intro
Zac is tired

@@martijnimhoff8865 why is it so important?
Not important, just fun.
@@martijnimhoff8865 sure...
@@bobthebuilder2922 What are you? A 7 years old?
CRKT is not innovative and I'm not impressed with the quality, designs and price point. Just my opinion.
congrats, the internet should bow to your opinion
Dont watch or buy one then.
They are definitely innovative. But not great quality. They have potential. Lots of great designers, innovative locks and pivots...
