I can't see how this isn't the class leader .. comfy, masses of space in a smaller footprint and overall more stylish the the Nissan. I.8 engine is the best altho its not available in some markets
We owned a 2016 HRV EX AWD. It wasn't a 'bad' vehicle, just extremely underpowered and spartan. It also was very loud on the highway and really struggled to pass on the interstate.
The Qashqai is selling like hot cakes in Europe but the only small compact crossover that I see as a strong competitor is the CX-3. The HR-V is beautifully put together ...
I love the way this thing looks. Easily a match for Nissan's Cash Cow. But why the weedy engines! Will that be it, the most powerful barely making 120 bhp! It looks really sporty but with such puny engines I fear it's sporty pretensions are somewhat misleading.
+fish fingers We in Aus have the 1.8L and I think that engine is gutless! Can't imagine what a 1.5L would be like! These weak engines in cross-overs is getting frustrating.
ronaldov09 I agree. The Germans seem to have the right idea though. When they make a cross-over they make sure that at least one model in the range has a thumping engine.
Hi there, I’m interested in buying this vehicle, please could you tell me if it is a petrol or diesel and engine size.one last thing, how many miles do you recon you could get on a full tank. thanks
I'm confused, why does the European version have substantially upgraded lighting (front and rear)? The US version has the older halogen-style lights only, which don't do the trick in San Francisco's foggy weather. We do get an AWD option, though.
+Austin Quirk You'll have to console yourself with the fact you are paying about half what the Brits are paying for one and getting the 1.8 engine not the 1.5 .
Poor drive trains and transmissions, electronic hand brakes ( big no no ) , no 4x4 which is what i needed. Noisy cabin. Tiguan rline looks a better option then this
+Paul Simmons Paul, the hand brakes are called parking brake and all cars will have electric parking brake in the near future . The Tiguan is in a different segment.
I buy one of this yesterday in Colombia. New model 2021. I love it.
Best looking car Honda have made for a while. I like it 👍
Totally agree

+/Dream Car Garage 1 (DCG1) yeah strange how some markets dont have the 141hp 1.8l engine

I'd be willing to pay more for the upgraded lighting. My theory is that they'll have an Acura equivalent model and want to add disparity between them.
This was filmed in Lisboa, Portugal, yehhh
Do you still do motorcycle reviews? I used to love watching them
ChristmasTrax Hello. Yes! We do - we should have a couple more going live in early August
ChristmasTrax B
Man I'm jealous. Y'all get the pano sunroof
why cant I find this car on the market anymore?
No thanks, unless you give me 2.0L engine with the 9 speed auto box from the CR-V.
Think I would rather have a Tiguan than any other cross over.
Paul Bond is damn hot.
No awd no buy
this is pretty slow under powered for a car that heavy
