I have just purchased one and I can say I am very pleased with it, I had the old shape kia sportage before and it was a difficult decision to make but Honda won in the end,I only hope it is as reliable as the kia.
Are autotrader staff paid to mention the quashqai when reviewing every suv, I don't think the Peugeot 3008 has been mentioned once despite it winning so many awards.
The figure we quote is the only one quoted by Honda in their CR-V brochure (www.honda.co.uk/content/dam/local/uk/brochures/cars/newcr-v.pdf) - which, admittedly, is loaded to the windows, rather than to the roof. So, the ultimate capacity may well be as much as 1600 litres, but we have no figure from Honda to confirm that…
I thought of buying a petrol CRV. It's just all a bit expensive to run - not great mpg, quite high annual VED, quite high insurance group. Compared with a petrol 1.6 qashqai I thought I might be paying out about £400 per year more than the qahqai for these items. Is it worth it? You'd probably get trouble free motoring which is a big plus.
Thats the key point. You could buy based upon fuel and road tax costs but ultimately, if you're not forking out a lot on repairs then it will be cheaper in the long run.
Hello. I do a low mileage in a stop start urban environment. The current thinking is that a petrol car is better than diesel in this situation so I don't really fancy a diesel. Also, the Honda dealer and the Honda Swindon PR dept told me that the 1.6 diesel 120PS is the old Euro5 standard and I don't want that. Can't afford the 160PS which is Euro 6.

It's nice to hear a generally positive review. Some other journalists damn it with faint praise.
We bought the 2 litre petrol Black Edition - superb.
The CR-V has lost a bit of its shine with the furore over the HR-V but there's no doubt, it's a compelling vehicle to own
I like the Style and Design of the 2015 Honda CR-V
Great review, thanks, anyone know what the sound system is like?

Good review thank you
When the seats are folded down the capacity is 1600+ litres of space not 1100.

Sounds more like an advert than a review
Hard plastic abound.
Not as good as Subaru Forester.
More than forester
