"Bean curd" is just another word for tofu! It's just tofu!! That phrase "bean curd" is on a lot of Chinese restaurant menus. Looks delish!!

The bacon and sausage on the Benedict and the bacon bits on the pizza are all by a local Vancouver company called PlantBase Foods!

Very close to ChickPea on Main is a "The Acorn Restaurant." Must try, very fancy uber delicious vegan food in a relaxed atmosphere, very highly rated. Also on Main Street is East is East on Main. There you have to get the Chai Feast platter, all you can eat! Get the Mango Butternut Squash, Creamy Mushroom and Eggplant and Boulani. The Best! Did you try the Beyond Meat Burger at A&W? It's crazy good. I also felt like The Heirloom was overrated.

Ayee I’m from Vancouver! Eaten at most of the vegan/vegetarian restaurants but my favourite is definitely meet!
I’m from Spokane and when I moved to the east coast I had to always attach “state” when I said I was from WA because everyone assumed I was from DC and would ask about it lol. Whenever I say WA state everyone is so intrigued 😂. Can’t wait to move back home!

hey jasmine and chris! that parallel 49th carries to die foor loaves! its just not in packaging :) so if you see a vegan banana bread or lemon loaf, those are the ones!
also at chickpea, when you see the vegan bacon, its by a brand called 'plant base' in vancouver. you can grab their products at vegansupply :)
Bean curd is tofu!
If you have a sweet tooth and some time to drive in the Fraser valley, I’d highly HIGHLY recommended going to Spent Grounds on a thurs or sat for freshly made donuts, pop tarts, cinnamon buns and sourdough croissants and pastries. Also Ft. Langley is really cute to visit.

I used to live in Vancouver Washington!!! We moved from Florida to Washington and I told all my friends I lived in Vancouver and they were like Canada ?? So I know the feeling 😂

Have you been to Victoria BC? Easy trip from Seattle on the Clipper. It's really cute and there are some good Vegan restaurants there. Oh, and Barry is so ridiculously cute it is painful.

I am so jealous. You live in a place where you can find vegan restaurants anywhere. It would be really easy to be vegan there. I live in Alabama. There is very little here. I used to go to Whole Foods for my vegan meals when i wanted lunch out but since Amazon bought them there is hardly any vegan food there anymore. Strangely enough they carry more Paleo than vegan.
