    Very nice indeed. Always good when something useful is made simple and from recycled materials. Very impressive

    Its much better practice to use multiple thin wires for secondary to reduce efectivness of skin effect rather tahn thick one

    Very interesting, thanks for the description. By the way, i have an antique instant soldering iron where the tip ws broken when i got it. Now i can make a new one for it from iron. I thought it was something special.

      Solid copper wire is the best thing to use.

    Can you tell me another way that how can I measure diameter of thin wire without digital calliper

    • @strayling1
      @strayling1 5 років тому +1

      Measure a length, drop it in a graduated water flask and record the volume it displaces. Do the math.

    • @huiwijaya
      @huiwijaya 5 років тому

      you just tell the shop what diameter of wire you want to buy and they give you the exactly one .. :D ...

    • @seckisecen9445
      @seckisecen9445 5 років тому +2

      Wrap the thin wire firmly onto a flat pen. There is no gap between them.
      Measure the total length and divide by the number of turns.
      Example: You have 20 times wrapped and 10 mm. 10/20 = 0.5 mm

    Hi
    I made the circuit ,but as soon as I add the soldering tip to secondary of the output transformer both transistors burned out.
    May someone help me to find the cause of this fault,I checked the circuit and components ,all were ok.
