Nice vintage style soldering iron! I always liked the super fast heat-up time of these transformer-based soldering irons, but I always hated the weight of them.
It's good that you go slow without speaking unlike many tubers from India who speak so Fast in broken English and make it very hard for western viewers to fully grasp the concept they are demonstrating. Great video. Just ma ke sure you print part numbers on the screen or even better in the descripton add a parts list and circuit diagram that is easy to follow. A lot of hobbyist need this level of detail, so Great video!
Great work Sir.Sorry for the cut on your finger. You are very dedicative in your work to help fellow Electronic Engineers and hobbyst. Please Sir keep up with your Great work and Allah blesses you.
Hi there, your work is really appreciated, this soldering is highly great, I have made it along with your tutorial, and it is very powerful, excellent and unique, I will be expecting your next soldering makings video tutorials. Just by passing a wire by the core and a lamp atteched to the wire we can help seeing the components on the circuit better. Thanking you, keep up great work. 🌹🤟🏻🙂😀😀
Great ingenuity and skill! Are you using a car battery for power or you have a 12 v power supply? And, what metal did you use for the 'tip'? I suppose you want the tip getting hot but not melting. Amazing what one can do with a bit of imagination and skill! Well done!
Can use lithium battery or lead acid battery. In this video, I use Lab Bench Power Supply. I use "Tip" as 1mm copper wire. It easily melts. Please use 1.5mm or 2mm copper wire. I think it will work fine.
@@PhdHung Great, thank you! I will follow your suggestion re: the tip. And, as for power, I also have a bench P.S. so, easy to connect to that. Best wishes!

@@PhdHung Well, I understand, you say that by melting 1mm of copper wire, a commercial soldering iron does not do that, right? A commercial soldering iron only melts the tin, but the soldering iron in the video melts the copper, more interesting to me.
@@PhdHung My question is, why does copper oxidize so much, does it get like carbon on top of so much heat? same the tips for soldering iron, why do they oxidize so much and remain like carbon?
Carbon and oxidation are different things. Copper oxidises when exposed to oxygen in air. That's why the connectors on pcb's are often coated with gold as gold does not react to air.
I really like this project and you can use that tool to solder plastics like car bumpers. Im having a hard time to understand the circuit. Do you have a circuit diagram that you can send to me I really want to make one for myself?
Lo que estás haciendo lo tapas con las manos,el equipo con que estás gravando estã muy lejos y vas a millón. Para el que no sabe como yo estamos jodido. De todas maneras te felicito por tu buena intención
Use a pulse transformer if you want to save battery life, but the UPS uses an iron transformer that is more durable, large capacity and can withstand overload.
You can use this exact same schematic with irfz44, they will heat a bit more but that's it. Of course the maximum current capability is lower so be careful with that

Using a pulse transformer, it weighs only about 100G.
Who needs 3D printer...smart and clever design. Loved it!
✋ I need 🥺
Original. Good job man. Just beautiful. This should be patented.
That's extremely hot.
What should I modify to lower the heat? 500c or (1.5 - 2) amps?
Wow. This heat gets to melt aluminum
How do I get the scheme?
Aluminum soldering
Sin duda el Cautín más poderoso del mundo excelente gracias amigo es una herramienta muy útil Dios te bendiga

I've been searching for such a powerful soldering iron for almost a year. Thank God I've find this one

Simple working zvs iron gun. Well done project. Just curiosity, have you measured the oscillate frequency?
the switch is awesome

very good idea I am a loyal fan of your channel .. always successful

you need 0,25 volt 200 amper on secondary winding
could we solder 2 usb cables in series and plug them into a powerbank to power 9-12 volt modem or any like devices?
It consumes about 5.5A, you need a 12V 6A adapter.
No
Great work Sir.
Thanks bro

Hi!
I have a irfz44n mosfet. But i think it's a lowclass mosfet. Will it work??
yes. ok . it will work
👌 👍 complimenti un bel attrezzo , é che mi sfuggono i possibili utilizzi.
Bem explicado, obrigado por proporcionar esse trabalho 👏👏👏👏
I am curious how come you didn't use a choke core on the middle of the main core? Also can this mess up an electronic device?

How much Current it takes during heating & can we make this adjustable to obtain lower heat

Yes, it is very simple, you only need to turn it on for a short time. When sufficient welding temperature, turn off the switch.
Ok thanks I will make it

Good job
Có thể điều chỉnh nhiệt độ đầu ra được không bạn?

UPS what is the best on ferite or on transformer iron ????? to save electricity from a battery !!!!
Use a pulse transformer if you want to save battery life, but the UPS uses an iron transformer that is more durable, large capacity and can withstand overload.
Wow Nice..... I get a lot of idea from your Video. Thanks a lot.
Did you measure the output current ?
High frequency currents are difficult to measure. But as I calculated, the current reaches 80A at a voltage of 0.5VAC

What is the alternative for that
