Just by passing a wire by the core and a lamp atteched to the wire we can help seeing the components on the circuit better.

    Great ingenuity and skill!
    Are you using a car battery for power or you have a 12 v power supply?
    And, what metal did you use for the 'tip'? I suppose you want the tip getting hot but not melting.
    Amazing what one can do with a bit of imagination and skill! Well done!

      Can use lithium battery or lead acid battery. In this video, I use Lab Bench Power Supply. I use "Tip" as 1mm copper wire. It easily melts. Please use 1.5mm or 2mm copper wire. I think it will work fine.

      @@PhdHung Well, I understand, you say that by melting 1mm of copper wire, a commercial soldering iron does not do that, right? A commercial soldering iron only melts the tin, but the soldering iron in the video melts the copper, more interesting to me.

      @@PhdHung My question is, why does copper oxidize so much, does it get like carbon on top of so much heat? same the tips for soldering iron, why do they oxidize so much and remain like carbon?

    • @goodtimeeric
      @goodtimeeric 2 роки тому

      Carbon and oxidation are different things. Copper oxidises when exposed to oxygen in air. That's why the connectors on pcb's are often coated with gold as gold does not react to air.
