- Another epic trip aboard the Pride. Cannot thank the crew enough for everything they do for us!
Really good yellowtail fishing around San Clemente island. Yellows were eating surface irons, yoyo jigs, and bait all day! Great fishing and even better memories with some of my favorite people!
Can't wait to do it all again!

Rewatching to get stoked for the coming season. That big bone looked pissed. I actually like catching them with the 20-25lb set up. So fun.
Lol I wish I had more recent footage, but hopefully soon I can make that happen. Can’t wait for the season to pick up! And hell yeah! Love hanging those big bones. So much power behind them!
2021 was pretty good for yellowtail i love to see these videos wish i start recording for memories aswell

When I get in a wide open bite though, I turn into a little kid giggling and shouting with a high pitch like Mariah Carey

And how do you rate Steelbaits, over Tady, Salas, and JRI surface Irons? I have those. My son and I are going down your way, to Oxnard Nov. 13-15, 2 day on the Ranger 85, for bluefin, and hopefully some yellowtail. Thanks!

they usually don't run a full day to san clemente island because its pretty far...unless ur on a smaller boat and u make a run out there.
This was an overnight trip. San Clemente is pretty far. Way further than I thought it was lol. That was my first time fishing that island. Awesome fishery

Tady C. All irons were working though. Tady 45, Salas 7x, tady 4/0 light, everything was getting bit
What was your rod & reel combo.. I need a few items for next year
@@davidortiz9859 my go to bait stick rn is a cavalla 5 narrow paired with an Okuma SCTi 8’6”
And go to surface iron set up, seeker ph ulua 93h paired with a pen fathom 2 star drag. I prefer casting the saltist black gold star drag, but they’re hard to find new now
