I was caught off guard by the Dr. Everhard cameo! Very cool that you created his portrait. Im sure he would be honored to be slotted between Ryle and Spurgeon.
Lol yeah, I was going to reach out to him to tell him about it, but then I never did. Maybe I should. He would get a kick out of it. Thanks for watching!
Russell Kirk, "The Conservative Mind," is good on the definition of conservatism v. liberalism. Kirk let's Reinold Neibuhr explain on liberalism. Quite good! Neibuhr cites Rousseau and Darwin as the cornerstones of the Left.
You have an incredible library 📚 & collection of 📖 books! Thanks for sharing! I love books and I collect Bibles. All different translations and study Bibles. God bless! Peace!
Thank you! Haha he does not. I've been meaning to either at him on Twitter or send him an email. I just finished it last month, so it hasn't been there for long lol. Thanks for watching!
I am also very grateful for my growing library. Learning from the many godly men who have faithfully walked with the Lord and have obtained a deep level of wisdom. It's kind of like having many godly councilors all pointing to me to our Lord Jesus Christ.
They aren't from the movie; I wasn't aware there was a movie haha. But I did purchase them after I was inspired by the books years ago. Those were some of the first books I read and enjoyed. They're really good! I'll have to look into the movie! God bless, Davis
Beautful!! Is the john macarthur comment collection easy to get where you live? I've heard that it has many volumes. I couldn't see right now, but who are the authors of their systematics? how much precious books you own, my friend!! great great collection!
They are relatively easy to access. They are very expensive, so I don't own any myself, but I know several people who do. They're really great. For systematics, I have John Calvin and Louis Berkhof. There are a few smaller volumes there as well. Thank you so much! God bless, Davis
I understand, I think this comment is one of the most complete in English. I heard about one by John Gill too. louis berkhoff's layout is great, and classic. The one by João Calvino I didn't know. must be excellent. (sorry for the wrong writing. I'm writing through google translator lol)
Many good books that I've added to my wishlist. Three book recommendations based on what you have: the Trinity Psalter-Hymnal (a newer "version" of the TH) Reformed Dogmatics by Bavinck, and Puritan Theology: Doctrine for Life by Beeke (both are fantastic systematics.) Where did you get those open book holders?
Thanks for watching! That's great! Thanks for the recommendations! I actually had the Psalter-Hymnal on order, and it arrived the day after I recorded the tour haha. That's what my church uses, so I was aware of the greatness of it. I hope to review some hymnals at some point (including that one). The other two have been on my list for a good while now, I just haven't gotten the funds to order them yet. Do you mean my bookends? I'm actually not sure. They were probably thrifted at some point or were gifts from family. God bless, Davis
@@JoshuaBSunderland Oh yeah! Those things! sorry. I bought those in antique stores in Missouri last summer, so I'm not sure where you can buy them. The closest thing I could find was on Etsy, but they're much more than I paid for them. They're pretty cool though. Now you’ve really done it… you have been able to offend Indians, anti-cowboys (anti colonialists), anti-tobacconists, liberals, PETA, tree huggers, and anti-braggarts….have I missed anyone….oh yea, animal haters…just kiddin 😁. BTW, those who might be offended by showing off your books are not of the true vine anyway… anyone who doesn’t like library reviews are lame. When I see a video with books in the background I am always checking to see what’s on the shelf…like I kinda said…they just don’t understand! Anyway…just some dry sarcastic humor before I go off to sleep. Enjoyed your video!
Oh no! I'm so afraid they might come after me! 🙄😂 I'm the same way; I don't care who's library it is, if there are books there, I will probably be watching the video haha. Glad you enjoyed! God bless, Davis
Nothing beats a good library tour! Love the bird art at 7:47
Thank you! I appreciate you watching!
You are not bragging at all - it is a blessing to see such a nice library possessed by a young person.
Thank you. It is indeed a blessing. Soli Deo Gloria.

LOL
Was that the cowboy and Indian from the Indian in the cupboard? I must have watched that movie 10 times when I was younger.

@@petrapublications on 8:48 , the thing that keeps the book open in your devotional area. Idk what those are called (a book stand?)
