You've manage to teach me more in under 20 minutes than my college professor has in 4, 3 hour long periods. Gotta love college CAD classes.

      "Classes"
As much as I respect and reverre my professor, taking this class online, not feeling terribly taught...
Honestly wouldn't even still be in the class if dropping it wouldn't bring me out of full- time
      🤷

I'm an intermediate CATIA user and might change to SOLIDWORKS.
The latter is clearly more modern and with plenty of options and nice user interface. But i miss something: a more detailed tree for the sketch.
In CATIA there are three subcategories: axis, geometry and constraints. One can look comfortably in the tree for every feature.
Is it possible to have this in SOLIDWORKS?

This is very useful. New to Solidworks although I have used other similar systems such as Design spark mechanical so I have much to learn.
Do you have information on where in the UK you can book the essential training course and the approximate cost?

Hi there,I followed this tutorial as I have been trying very hard to understand how to draw a parallelogram with the horizontal lines slanted at a 30 degree angle and with an ellipses drawn on face. i am ok drawing lines at any angle in solidworks but regrettably i found no way to draw ellipses inside such a shape, can you help? Thanks again for this tutorial.

4:50 I am not able to get those relations automatically. I used to get them before but now all of a sudden it is all gone. Now I had to manually make each lines horizontal or vertical.
Plz help me if anyone knows the solution
