Great video. SIBs seem to be getting really popular now and I have just bought one as my first boat. Seems a good inclusive attitude amongst SIB owners too. Just trying to learn as much as I can before I take to the sea off the south east coastline.
Thanks. Sibs are very versatile and considerably cheaper than most other boats. They are a great way into the hobby and many never have a need for anything more. A sib can do most things.
Love the vid mate, we took our sibs to the Isle of Man this skimmer and we are looking for more places to take them. Looks like great fun with a full armada out. We made a video too if you want to watch just search outside your zone or ‘smallest inflatable boat to cross the Irish sea’. Nice one mate
I love the bow cover you have on your boat. I've been wanting something exactly like that for ages for my intex mariner 3. Where would one pick up such a thing?
I bought mine on eBay but they can be found at many chandlers. Eg MES Marine have them in at the time of writing. www.mes-marine-shop.co.uk/products/bow-canopy-up-to-38m
Can you tell me the make of your bow canopy, enjoyed your vid , will need to get further afield in my T38 , usually boat around North Ledaig caravan site bay
Great video Gary. What's sib short for. Not sure about the different inflatable nick names. I have a Honwave T32 IE3 and really enjoy inflatable boating. Is your friends Honwave a air or aluminium floor. Looking forward to watching more of your channel and subbed you. Really enjoyed watching. Atb Steve 👍
Lol I thought it was small inflatable boats 😅. I have always had a inflatable be it doll or boat 🤔🤣, changed back and forward with open canoe and inflatable boats. Love the excitement of the inflatable on the water. The set up I have now is new and the smallest 3.2m boat with only a honda 6hp. I had a yamaha 9.9hp and 3.8m inflatable but without a trailer found it heavy to carry around and over rocky ground. Watching your channel now and enjoying it. Atb Steve 👍
You're videos are awesome mate. I'm only a few hours from oban and have just got my first sib can't wait to get my outboard and get out with it. I have ordered a tohatsu 9.8 2 stroke, will this be OK to go from oban to mull? Thanks again.
Great little trip. Stunning views. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations on finding such beautiful places to camp JP

Fabulous video Gary. Really good to get the narration, it made a massive difference in interest.

I'm not sure if they were home made or shop bought.
how dose the futura perform in a chop
Wasn't bad for a sib. But most of them have a flat hull so do slam a lot.

Enjoy your sib mate. Everything depends on the conditions. Learn as much as you can before getting into open water.
Is this a club I could join?
It was organised through an online forum. Rib.net You’d be welcome to join I’m sure.
