I still break out in a cold sweat thinking about that journey back . So glad we got back without a incident . Like Highland haggis said should have stuck together.
It was a sharp edge on one of my pieces of cargo as it kept bouncing and tumbled it managed to out the edge down towards the floor. It just wasn’t secured well enough for the conditions.
For total clarity Highland Haggis.. Gary was advised by myself not to go back in the conditions ... he chose to go back . Gary got himself into the situation..if he followed the advice of people who are experienced and know the area ..he would not have got into difficulty. Also best you find the details of what actually happened before trying to stir things..i have learned a lesson though..not to go with people I don't know or who stir up crap !!
No licences or permits or anything. That’s the good thing about coastal waters in the UK. Of course that doesn’t excuse you from proper preparation and safety equipment.
Mint shots! Rock gardens look incredible. And the puncture :0!!
They are!

Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it. Beautiful part of the world.
Great video Gary and I love the Voice Over
Good video Gary. When you get a puncture on the airdeck does it go down quickly being high pressure. Atb Steve 👍
Absolutely, but was still ok somehow.
Was the puncture on the inside or outside, was it the gear that did it?
Nice video! I would have been pretty scared in those conditions with an airfloor losing air.. But how did you manage to puncture it on open sea?

@@GaryBaker thank you, it's good to know that can happen, never thought of that. I'll look out for this in the future.
Nice video gaz that's one place you should have stuck as a group going back you should not have been left alone but you made it back to tell the story
