For Trayvon Bromell, every rep, every practice, and every race has been building this season towards the World Championships. There have been ups and downs along the way, but ultimately Bromell qualified to Beijing and now is more motivated then ever to get to the final and test his mettle against the likes of Usain Bolt and Justin Gatlin. In Episode 2, Bromell explains how he stayed focused on his goals even through adversity, including the death of his father back in September.

I grew up in Scarborough with Andre degrasse we used to play in the same soccer league then became fairly close friends. He was never a sprinter and then one day he’s an Olympic athlete🤷🏾♂️

Statistics! at age 19 the 100 was not Bolts primary event he was running 400's
If Bolt had ran 100m or trained for it at that age Statics wise he would've ran 9.8 something at 19/20.
I mean his first 100m was 10.03 then broke the world record a few races later 🤣🤣🤣🤣Bolt really was the greatest.

yeah i thought it was ridiculous about him running sub 10 more times than bolt did before he turned 21. I mean like yeah that's true but that's because bolt only starting running the 100m as a professional at age 21 XD

He was considered to tall to be a good candidate to concentrate on the 100. So much for stereotyping. Wondered what would have happened if they had steered him toward the hurdles?
