- What better way to showcase all the vintage amps that we here at CME have deemed “too cool to sell” than with the Holy Grail of electric guitars? And, of all the amps in CME’s backline, few pair as well with a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard (#9 0830) as this 1966 Marshall JTM45 head w/ 4x12 Cabinet!
To hear how this guitar sounds through even more of our vintage amps included in the CME House Amps video series, head to our UA-cam Channel! Then, come try all of the Gibson Les Paul Standard models we have in-store-including Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab editions made to look, feel, and play like original 1959 Burst models like the one you see here!

Whatever the question is, that rig is definitively the answer.
Nathaniel killing it as always
Some great playin
Incredible. Now play some Beano on that rig!
I think I need these, the guitar is from the year my mother was born and the amp is from when my dad was born! 😆 just only need a half a million bucks first...haha!
Love the tones, great playing Nathaniel!
No doubt that the LP and Marshall are a match made in heaven, BUT, Nathaniel Murphy could play a plastic guitar and make it sound fantastic! The guy is an incredible player with in-the-pocket feel for days.
Well now that is THE jimmy page tone
Guitar sounds like a guitar, neat.
Reissues just don't sound like that. What a beastly combo.
❤
If you look behind the 22nd fret there are wear marks under the strings. How does that even happen? You don't fret there, and it should be far from the picking area. So weird.
