- Thinking of planning a trip to London? There’s one area you really can’t miss - Trinny’s neighbourhood, Notting Hill. This area has long been famous for Portobello Road market, Notting Hill carnival, and of course, the Richard Curtis romcom of the same name. But today, Trinny is showing us her personal favourite places, from cafés and restaurants to vintage shops and beyond. Next time you’re in town, wander over to this beautiful part of London - you never know who you might bump into…

For a woman who is so “more than just comfortably off” your comments are so grounded and you don’t give the feeling of being dislocated from reality. “You have to spend a lot of time in bed for a 300£ pj”😂 you nailed it Trinny. Also, thanks for mentioning prices, opening times, reservations and your own story.

Thank you Trinny! My family and I lived near Notting Hill in the early 2000s and this brought back such beautiful memories. I had a baby daughter at the time too and loved that Petit Bateau and Bonpoint. Almost brought a tear to my eye as we just celebrated that baby’s 20th!

Best tour ever❤Loved it 🏆 Used to live in London 22 years ago. Every free moment, every weekend I went to Portobello road and Nottting Hill ⭐️🇳🇴Bought vintage clothes and clothes from the 30’s. It was just such a happy time.

I will definitely go to Notting Hill next time I go to London. Our last trip, June 2022 we stayed in Camden. My then 7 year old daughter loved all the colourful characters walking around 😂❤

Just did this tour with Hubby today, it was a lovely day. Brought a candle from Diptyque & some chocolate from melt. Highly recommend all of the above. The sights were fantastic & great to see a really nice part of London. Thank you Trinny x

This was an amazing tour. Reminded me of first time I came to visit my half sister, also my first time to London. She lived just a block away from Nottinghill and took me to the Nottinghill weekend market. I bought some earrings which i still have today. And that was 13 years ago! Brought back such lovely memories. Make me want to come back again! Thank you so much for this ❤

😂 I used to live there for a few months in a squat while going to uni. Went to collect left over fruit and veg when the market closed to feed all the hungry artists in the house 😊

When I used to live in Notting Hill many decades ago late 80s, there were not fancy restaurants, I do remember the Gold Pub the food was greasy old fish and cheaps, and the spirit was different. I still have so many small bags and some vintage pieces that I used to buy on the stalls.

Thanks for the tour, Trinny! I love seeing Notting Hill after all these years. I lived there in 1987 - was quite different at the time. We used to leave for our holidays during the Notting Hill Carnival because the amps would be right out our window on Ladbroke Grove and there was no sleeping that week. :) Glad to see the Portobello road is still somewhat the same. I'm actually a native New Yorker. I think you were giving a nod to the Magnolia Bakery on Bleeker Street in the West Village, NY. (red velvet cupcakes?).

I lived in Notting Hill for over 30 years and grew up on Portobello Road. I’m now in Fulham but my heart is still in Notting Hill ❤️
I wish more places were like Notting Hill. Our area is a grot hole full of barbers, nail bars and take aways. 😢😢
