Very nice review, please test the Lok against the Joker Ember Scandi too. I think the pretuding tang is intended to give it more robustness, but I agree the haptics are now not good. I bought the Finn by the way, hence I can imagine how the Lok feels . Wrote an extensive feedback on the Finn at the Spessart Outdoors youtube channel, were he reviewed the Finn ... :) looking forward to your test, cheers from Germany PS I now ordered the Lok too to give it a closer check, and yes prices are falling ;)
Hi, I just posted my comparison of the Lars Fält vs the Mora Lok. You will find that the Joker ember will cut just as nice as the mora and the casström. The Joker Bushlore is a better bushcraft knife than the Ember. And the Joker Bushlore is identical to the lars Fält knife. (same dimensions, same steel) Greetings Wim
@@traveler5898 thanks will have a look. :) Out of curiosity, why do you think the Bushlore is better than the Ember? (Considering same steel in this comparison, because Joker let’s you choose from several, eg Carbon, Sleipner, 14C28N) cheers
Not to be disrespectable but this Mora costing 2.5 times more than the Mora Garberg so i think it is overpriced. Instead of this Mora Lok i would have liked to see a Garberg with a micarta handle and a wood option on the Garberg. And Brisa knives are from Finland and Finland is not scandinavian.
yep it is overpriced but until we know more about the steel it could be reasonable. And once the development costs are covered the price will come down I hope. And a Garberg with wood or micarta would be a nice option for a lot less money indeed. I always thought Finland was part of Scandinavia. But political its not Scandinavia it seems. Cultural and economical it is.... Anyway thanks for the info. greetings Wim
Nope. If we are going to be pedantic it's actually it's feno-scandinavian. It's not really scandinavian because there is no scandinavian language being spoken there, it's actually of ugric origin, and the Scandinavian mountain range does not cross into Finland. Thus it's not really scandinavian. @gunnarblomquist4412 was right, maybe because he actually is scandinavian...
The Rokka Korpisoturi is cheaper too. So is the EKA RTG-1 (EKA is a lesser known Swedish brand, & the RTG-1 is made by Rowen). You can probably find a Fällkniven S1 for less.🫣
Let's be real. it's beyond OVER price. I Have a feeling thier not making much of it due to it being shitting on their shelves for some time. you are buying a basic mora with a wooded handle..it can't beat a mora Garberg 100%. Shame on Mora. Shame!

There is no issues with this knife. The protruding tang is not an issue.
Question: Is the tang rounded off past the scales? so it has a smooth feel.
if it hasn't, that would be real bad.😕
The scales are smaller than the tang. maybe the coating makes it bigger. There is a noticable edge around the handle.
Oh nice....was this a gift from Mora.....or did you really pay that ridiculous price for it, why dont you mention in your review you got it for free ?
I paid for it, so it better be good.....

I think you'll find that Finland is very much a 'Scandinavian' Country😉

El cuchillo es bonito pero es muy caro y no es bueno se mella fácil no es buen acero
Voy a probar el cuchillo a fondo este verano. Te haré saber cómo resulta.
