    I love Claire! I ran into her videos a year ago believe and wanted jesmonite so bad. I did ALOT of research like enough to hurt my brain. I found Aqua Resin and got the kit. It's one of my FAVORITE mediums. Sanding with water is my favorite lol. Glad I found you and another brand.

Ok being serious now....I've been casting using cement (not Cement All) and it's been ok, but wanted to try some new mediums. Thanks for taking the plunge for all of us. :) (I think it's kinetic sand you're talking about.)

    It's the same here in Australia for trying to get Jesmonite. It's non existent here.
    Currently im trying one that seems equivalent. However i cant actually compare as i cant get Jesmonite.
    Other ones that are Australian made but very expensive.

    You’re so artsy! 😂😂😂 ok so I’ve been working with resin for a few years now and I’ve never heard of this eco resin!! Holy cow! So can you still use a torch or heat gun to remove bubbles?? That’s important to me! Does it feel as durable as counter top resin do you think? I just love watching you!! You are so fun!! 😂🎉🎉🎉💕💕💕💕

    • @cansarahdiyit
      @cansarahdiyit  2 роки тому +1

      It definitely has a more chalky texture than resin, so in that sense it’s not like epoxy. But it’s heavy and really strong once it fully cures!!!
      The other great thing is you can use all of your resin molds with this stuff so that’s also very cool!!
      I’m so glad you looove me😍😍😍

      @@cansarahdiyit The science fluid/solid bit... Normally the kids in school do it with cornstarch and water, if you come at it fast, it acts as a solid, but then you jiggle it and it flows like water. Your Eco Resin was doing that at one point and you were trying to come up with what it's called :) Right around 7:48

      Becky, I’m so glad you found me! If you’re in the states you know it’s hard to get jesmonite and if you find it it’s pricey!! I would definitely buy this again but I didn’t like the colors I got with this so I think I would try it with different colorants. Lucky for me I am a shopaholic and have options so I need to try it again, I actually have jesmonite also and I should probably do a comparison video

      @@cansarahdiyit lol I'm also a shopaholic. If you haven't done a comparison video I would love to see one. I know there are many people out there that are confused on what this medium actually is. And they don't know which type to get as there are many options. The group I'm in was asked to come up with a name for a product that is a jesmonite alternative. This alternative is now called Resin Crete thanx to our group. Resin Crete is ECO water based product. Available in USA and the UK. I just thought I would share this with you.

    First of all, I LOVE CLAIRE! That’s probably why your video showed up on my recommendations. LOL. She got you a new sub! 💜 I haven’t tried EcoResin or Jesmonite, but I have tried Aqua Resin. It’s probably the same type of thing. It’s amazing! It almost makes me want to throw out all of my epoxy resin. I also have a huge amount of Hydro Stone that I haven’t tried out yet. I’m hoping it’s the same because it was only $48 for 25 lbs. Thanks for sharing your experience with EcoResin! ✌🏼💜🛼

      @@snugglebuns6969 Bummer! Sounds like someone was having a major “Beckie Leigh” moment when they packed your shipment. I hope the rest of your goodies arrive soon! I would imagine that Aqua Resin, EcoResin, and Jesmonite are all basically the same thing. I totally loved the weight & cool, smooth feeling of Aqua Resin, and that’s the same thing I’m seeing about the other two products. I’m tempted to go ahead and mix up a little Hydro Stone for a small mold just to get a feel for how it behaves. LOL
