    I used this one a car about 8 years old that had never been waxed or polished before. There were a lot of moderate scratches and some heavy scratches. This product did a fantastic job, removing even most of some pretty heavy scratches. Highly recommend this product. Easy off and a great shine.

    This is exactly the kind of product I need for my wife’s leases. My cars get 2 step corrections and ceramic coating because I own them and plan on either keeping them or selling them when the market will get me most bang for my buck. This is perfect for that initial cleaning of a lease with continued protection with griots 3in1 spray. Looks absolutely great!

    Looks like a great product, Brian! Griot's Garage is one of those companies that I just can't help but like. An American company that actually produces their own stuff? Heck yeah, what's not to like! I'm tempted sometimes to just go all-out and use only GG products for that reason. There are just so many great products out there, I haven't been able to pull the trigger on the all-out with Griot's. Still tempting, though!

    This is my go-to product for client wash & waxes. I don’t spend much time correcting, just one quick pass over panels for application purposes, but the gloss and beading properties make it an incredible wax choice. And if a couple light scratches and oxidation are removed in the process, well that’s just a bonus

I’m not completely sold on the ceramic “soap,” but generally speaking if you’re using a PH neutral chemical I’d find it hard to believe it’d be able to strip SiO2. This one step really is a good product.

    Quick question, Brian. If you were using this on someones vehicle and you couldn't keep it for the full 24-hour cure time, but you wanted to top it with Ceramic Speed Shine before you gave it back to the person, would you go ahead and top it anyway, or just forget the topper? If you'd use it anyway, what's the bare minimum amount of time you'd wait before applying the topper? Thanks!

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  10 місяців тому +1

      Thanks! Only use a clay bar if the paint needs it. Put a ziplock bag on your hand and slowly run it over a clean dry panel. If you feel bumps or multiple like sandpaper then it needs clayed. You can’t go wrong with BOSS creams or the all in one. All in ones are just faster to do.

    I'm a big fan of Griot’s, (and you)! I’m about to detail my car and do some major paint correction on it this week with my g8 & g9 (before I lose my garage). I’ve been saving for the DD 5000 coating on your site for months now (wanted to fix an ugly fender dent before I bought and installed a coating) but now I’m moving across town from this 3,000Sq ft home to an apartment…sucks, so I’m looking for something I can put on my car in the next 5 -7 days that won’t fail in the Arizona heat especially with it having to in the sun 24/7 very soon. Any ideas? I’ve heard wax melts over 89°, so I’m wondering if this would work for my situation or what would be best (that I can get my hands on before I have to move) to hold up in the heat so my car doesn’t look like all the other cars on the roads here that are 5+ years old and have massive damage from the sun. My 2013 Accord EX is Honda’s Maroon color which is absolutely beautiful and I would love to keep it that way. Any ideas are appreciated!!
