I don't think it's that cleverly written, when compared to stuff like Arrested Development and 30 Rock but it's sure entertaining. I binge watched all 5 seasons recently in a week.
It tackles far more serious topics than those shows though and does a really good job of it imo.

That's ironic because she uses Ross because of the name recognition of her mother. Her real surname is Silberstein (her dad is Jewish), but she goes by Ross for showbiz purposes. Her brother Evan Ross' real surname is Næss (his dad is Norwegian) and he uses Ross for the same reason.

I'm genuinely intrigued by this because I used to drink a lot of green tea (limitless) and it never made my heart rate increase or make me feel wigged out from the caffeine, but after I started actively drinking more coffee, two/three cups would make me feel like I would almost pass out or sick because my heart was beating so fast. I guess I can't wrap my head around the idea that I have convinced myself somehow that coffee is higher in caffeine therefore my heart beats faster. I just wonder if there is something else to that other than the caffeine in each drink. Like if our bodies process them differently.
@MrChrisMDong What makes you think green tea contains more caffeine than coffee? I just looked that up, and according to several sources quite the opposite is true. Maybe look into it before spreading misinformation. 0:
I think they were thinking of black tea, I've heard that it has a higher caffeine content before although I can't confirm it as fact.
Green tea has a much lower caffeine content than coffee.
'Organic' confers zero health benefits and is generally harmful to the environment.
Also there is no scientific link between sugar and 'being hyper'.

drybrushing is totally normal and well known in Japan. Like she says, it helps circulation and helps regulate your autonomous nervous system. It totally makes sense she does it to wake up - that's when it's usually done. Americans are weirded out by anything they don't know, it's really kind of pathetic.

Dry brushing help the flow of the lymph glands. I have lymphedema n I have to do dry brush to stop my leg from swelling.
I know what kind of brush she is talking about. It is used during occupational therapy (generally) for autistic children for the purpose of stimulation.

jumpstart55million It would make sense to stay away from alcohol if you're a health nut but not coffee. A recent study which is more reliable than any before it has shown that even 4 cups of coffee per day is actually good for you....decreases your risk of cardiovascular diseases amongst other things. The thing about alcohol being good for you in small amounts has been strongly disproven though. Even a small amount has a negative effect. In case you're curious, I drink neither.
