- Staying in a mansion is cool, but staying in a 1920's mansion in a Romanian vineyard is something else! Casa Timis is a resort just outside of Bucharest, where we experienced gourmet Romanian food, luxurious stay, and 5 stars hospitality. Check out our vlog!

That 1920s mansion is in the beautiful national style, called neo-romanian and most buildings dating from 1890s to late 1920s were built in this style all over the country :-D
I didn’t know we have Such nice places in Romania
Those small very blue grapes are called Tamaioasa and the wine my grandparents used to make out of it....excellent...full of antioxidants and indigo in color....it would stain the glass...the best red wine
Guys, you should go to a concert at Romanian Atheneum (it's in Bucharest), one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world, it also has good acustics. If you don't get concert tickets, at least visit it, see it inside, you will love it.
Gape juice it's called "must" and you can keep it a few days, let it ferment a bit but relax the cap so it can breathe and it doesn't explode.
BTW, Romania has some 60% of the mineral water reserves in Europe, some over 2000 springs, something you could explore.
Grape juice is grape juice. "must" is after it stars fermanting...
Greatings from Poland
Sunteți adorabili promovații țara mea ❤️❤️❤️
Promovați, cu un singur " i" 😅
Thank you so very much to show Roumania’s beautiful places ✌️❤️🌹

I like Ivana's blouse very much and it suits her so well. This Casa Timis place is breath taking, I would love to visit it one day.
Beautiful spot. Enjoy! And the view from the sauna....wow!!! Keep safe, healthy and happy.
What a great place! I need to go there someday soon, it's amazing! I am Romanian, this place is definitely on my list!
Wowww..I m green with envy!! So beautiful..out of a Disney picture book! Ivana looks part of the painting
Glad to see you guys having fun in Romania! "Foarte bine","Noroc"...!🤔😂
Fun fact: Romania actually has one of the oldest wine traditions in the world (mostly because of suitable soil and weather). It's also one of the largest producers of wine in the world, but is usually (and unfairly) overshadowed by their brothers Spain, France and Italy :')
Don't forget Moldova, people actually know Moldova for wine more
@@madalinaanton3253 yes, taking from the same Dacian roots
@@madalinaanton3253 Really any country that produces wine in Europe is overshadowed by those three I mentioned. Like yes, Moldova (amongst other wine-making countries like Portugal or Germany) is more known than Romania, but even them get massively overshadowed by Spain, France and Italy.
Yes, that is because people want the prestige of dinking french or italian wine and also because in Romania we don't really export our wine, it all goes to internal consuption, at least that is what I've heard from the specialists that I follow, that we drink massive quantities of romanian wine and there is no need for exporting.
@@madalinaanton3253 In essence, Moldova is also Romanian. :)
Mulțumesc că existați să văd ce țară am !
Concord grapes? My grandmother grew these and made jam ….yum
Those wall paintings are called trompe-l'oeil (French for 'deceive the eye')
I really enjoyed your video. 👌🏼
Great channel. 🤝 ⭐️
Greetings from Albania. 👋🏼🇦🇱

Best fruits are that you pick with your own hand

@@JetLagWarriorsPuneți mustul in sticle in chis bine și punețil in congelator și la iarna sau cin vreți îl scoateți îl beti sa aveți grijă la dop că explodează mai bine deschideți cite puțin 😊

You are fantastic!
very nice vlog .LOVE FROM CALIFORNIA .
That grape juice is named "must", so must is a must really
Thank you so much, guys. Love it!
We call that fresh grapes juice.. ,,MUST'' but in romanian language. (not said like in english or with the english accent cuz that word it doesn't translate the same).
It can be kept for a few days (until the taste of it starts to change).. but I know a romanian dude who has a recipe that can keep that grapes juice last longer (to almost 1 year in glass bottles).
Wow,you still wear Rapid Bucuresti jersey!🥰
LOVE YOU. THE Best!!! From Romania with 💞. Love. Thank s👍💞💐
Nice one😍
Rapiiiiiidddddddddddd 🤩🤩🤩 (t-shirt)
Much love from Ploiești, come to visit our ugly but full of history city!
❤❤❤❤❤
I want to live here so beautiful 😍❣️
What a fantastic place! In terms of price, how does it compare with other getaways? Would you say this is a bargain, moderately priced or a splurge? The amenities, decor and food look expensive but Romania is usually less expensive than other countries.
I would say that for romanians it is more on the expensive side, 120 euros per night, I've heard people complain about it, but for what you get I think it is a fair price,it doesn't seem as expensive when you convert it to euros 😂😂😂, it is not for weeks long vacations anyways, rather for city breaks.
Nice video
Great 😉
You discoverd Romania in a great way.. can you please tell me which camera you have for shooting videos? @jetlag warriors
gopro 10
If you guys go back to Bucharest you should definitely try buoni e bravi pizzeria at Rosetti square in Bucharest! Go around noon on a weekday, that's when you'll find most of the variants they have to offer available. I also believe they're closed on the weekend, but not sure.
Very nice place guys, in Romanian grape Juice is called, MUST pronunciation is moost👍😉
Visit Mogoșoaia Palace, near Bucharest
Batiknya keren om
You should definitely visit Craiova. One of the most beautiful cities in the country but underrated. Promise you will love it. And the local football team has great supporters. Cheers
It has some nice places but overall MEH. :))
Beautiful old center and parks, better than Bucharest parks, I love Craiova, but I don't know what it can offer to tourists.
@@madalinaanton3253 I agree. The park is superb. Not sure it can compete with the 6- 8 big parks Bucharest has in total but it is definitely beautiful.
Let's see : beautiful old town, most beautiful parks in Romania definitely, arts museum and others, alot of restaurants and cafes, stadium... everything other cities in Romania have. The other touristy cities have better promotion. I've seen all of them and none are far better. Each have something different
Hey guys, I've seen your Romanian blogs so far, but never saw you eat papanași. You don't like them or ..?

Votez pt Cheile Bicazului și Lacul Roșu👍👍
You are in Prahova county now and very close to Ploiesti, so do not wear that t-shirt anymore :))))
Me puedes decir con exactitud dode fue ese en que ciudad??gracias
7:19 no , it taste like real grapes
guys, you drank a lot of grape juice. I bet you took turn to the toilet :))))
Instead of "foarte bine", use "foarte bun" when complimanting a thing (drink, food, etc.) "Foarte bine" is better used for actions
I am from India
You gotto love americans, staying in 120y old house, that's like average here, anytjinh under 200 is new
My dudes, take care with that stuff, it will give you some meeeean diarrhea if it starts fermenting.
be careful with this he need to fermenting, if not the fermentation it's in your stomach after drinking 🤭
If you drink it fresly squeezed, then it is just juice and it taste so so good
But your boyfriend points won't get you what you're hoping for,
the cheapest room 720€ for one night wow. are you sure that´s Romania?
you must have gotten the prices wrong, i just checked and it's 720 Lei which roughly means around 145€
720 LEI (ROMANIAN CURRENCY) , not euro
Well, duck is mostly french, but, you have to try the romanian ''ratza pe varza'', wich is ''duck on cabbage''. It's very tasty!
To obtain ,,must "" after crush the grapes and put them in a barrel without top ,and just cover with something against rain or 🪰.
Check after few days and if you see all crushed grapes flood on top is time to take the juice(must) out.
From the bottom of the barrel, should be strained and moved in different barrel.
If ,, must" is not coming out anymore you put crushed grapes into machine for press and squeeze all juice.
This is real ,,Must"
Just squeeze some fresh grapes that means you drink grapes juice not ,,Must"
Yeah but Moldova region is wine county like Transilvania is palinca county.
👍
You gained 2000 subscribers in the last week 🙂
Wow wonderful experience
Oh, nooo. Not you too, guys. So many people advertising this place. This place is so overrated. So so expensive for a place in Romania. It is indeed a place with an interesting concept and a very beautiful view, but still .. the prices are so high 🤣
Cat de scump?

If you want to visit Arad, we(me and my wife) can offer you 1 room for a few days ( for free ofc) -any time!
Wow, that's some vineyard there, and some apartment. Ideal to retire there: clean, quiet, mag-nificent views, lots of wine, what else could you wish for? Better than a tropical island, which, by the way is quite boring, unless you're a billionaire and have yacht/s with helicopter/s, submarine/s, spaceship/s, etc. And wine, and beer also. And tzuica, and fortified wine (which in Canada is pretty cheap, and beautiful bouquet, 10$ a 3/4 liter bottle with 20% alcohol). I don't know if Romanians make fortified wine (probably not, with the grape remains they make tzuica).
Hello! if you are still in Romania next weekend go to Ploiesti! it's a city 60 kilometers away from Bucharest! there will be a football match between the local Football Club Petrolul Ploiesti team and FCSB! it will be an incendiary atmosphere and you will not regret it! just don't wear Rapid's t-shirt because there is a great rivality between Rapid and Petrolul! the stadium in Ploiesti is like that of Rapid! it will be an extraordinary atmosphere! you won't regret it and you'll find "mici" to eat 😂!
Do not drink too much of this grape juice,it's very laxative. 😂
