The firefighters at the front of the building are in the collapse zone and should have been moved back. It is a total loss, safety of the crews is paramount.
@@11ghudson He is absolutely correct. What is your problem? A lot of people watch these videos who are not firefighters, and they benefit from the comments.
Command should have pulled all personall out of collapse zone. This fire was fought defensively. Ladder seemed to be have a problem getting water. Once a water supply to ladder was established, all hand lines should of been shutdown except lines protecting any closel by exposures. Deck gun on pumper and ladder would have had adequate water to knock down and extinguish the fire.
The guys with the red and white truck got it right by using a deck gun. The guys with the white baker aerial scope would rather use small lines. I guess they have no training officer or fire ground experience.
That Aerialscope is a dry truck. That is not its crew with the small lines and there was another Engine there out of frame down the hill a little bit. Learn before you speak…
The Fire Dudes don't seem to be very efficient, wandering around like lost clowns. The dudes in the cherry picker are just watching, good vantage point.
Not one air pack. they must have a water pressure problem in this area. Not a great display of fire ground operations or managing resources. I hope the ff heals up
If the first arriving engine had deployed the deck gun until a water source was secured to advance exterior attack lines, mabe the result could have been different
Some people can not even figure out to use landscape mode, not portrait mode. Because of people's horrible home movies, I try to hold my phone very steady and pan very slowly.
Its a shame to see a beautiful church in fire as always excellent outstanding brilliant they deserve alot of credit tons of it let's honor and appreciate the paramedics and firemen and police who proudly serve us your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated great job great team work and great and sweet catches as usual still going strong great team efforts are deeply appreciated stay safe and warm out there stay strong and healthy as well much love and respect and appreciation job well done you should be proud let's stop and hope everyone is doing ok right wonder what started the fire don't work to hard appreciate you guys thanks a big massive thanks to everyone who responds and works around the clock to keep us safe out there way to go very impressed !!!! No accompanying explanation. It would have been nice if the OP had taken 10 seconds to tell us where this happened instead of leaving us to deduce that from clues in the video. Seems to be a common problem on YT. And the date shown is August 21, 2024. Today is August 4. By my calendar, that’s 2 1/2 weeks in the future. Somebody must have a time machine.
Amazing to watch the incompetence of fire "Fighters". Must have been their donut break. No water for 10 minutes and then there is just a drip form the fire hose.
Can I listen to Philadelphia and fire department area and it's amazing how each company does something different different but I don't know it seems like whatever works for one doesn't work for the other it's weird
That's the answer Commander that needs retrain on where the place is crew at not the firefight let me do what they're told water pressure was houses too small of the lines as far as collapse on your right they should have put the buckets up
its bad luck to take pictures of any fire's thats one thing i dont take pictures of burning buildings my wife to picture of a place burning building next day her appt. burn down i be live in it
@jacobfoster9185 This is somewhere in DW Pennsylvania. 3 clues Fayette City & South Brownsville fire trucks and the 724 area code on the green dumpster
I was organist at an historic church for many years until it closed. It was sold and now is a residence. The carpeted nave is now a huge living room complete with beautiful stained glass windows depicting the life of Christ and a fine pipe organ. I wish I would have known it was listed for only 95k. This church could have been a fine home to someone as well..

Thanks Chief you’re a freaking genious
Protect exposures and keep distance.
Can't believe anyone was stupid enough to make entry!

Well they washed the walls and the door, all working in the collapse zone need retraining urgently.
I didn’t see you there fighting a fire.

8-21-24 is a month from now, this is July, not August. Did you mean to put 7-21-24 in the title / description?
So much for the collapse zone?
The first engine on the scene should have immediately gone to master stream deck gun operations.
🪠🪠
Agreed
Once a water supply had been established. Most of those city truck usually carry 500 gallons of water.
Previous occupant was First Baptist Church. It appeared pad locked & abandoned?
This has to be an Ill trained volunteer fire department ?
Try several Vol Fire Departments.......

There's no hurry. They're not saving anything. Setting up proper supply lines is what they needed and what was being done.

Those brick walls are worrisome. Did they have a problem with water pressure?
Where is this
They have NO water pressure
Or training, unfortunately.
Gee would love to know where this is and the actual month it was taken in the description instead of scrolling through the comments to find out
What is the temperature there?
Does this Fire Department have a hose and water shortage??

Airpack for what? No one is going in there and the wind was at their back. Are you new at this?
@@chuckbronco6485 you never know when the wind will change
@johnwallace482 if that wind changes 180 degrees, there's a major meteorological event happening.
Deck gun is watering the fuck out of the tree! Uh move the stream around boys!
Where's the RAC?
at 17:28 the bell crashed down opening the bell tower
That's so sad first 2 ground hoses could barely get it up !
That's what she said!
Was that an old catholic church
Looks like they may just let it burn. 3:37

It’s in Brownsville itself almost a mile out of the southside…

Wow.... you guys must be able to time travel. It's not August yet....
Where is this? City, state, I'm assuming that it's in the United States of America?
Area code on the dumpster calls for Western Pennsylvania
Prayers not working?
They can't put the fire out without water.

No use pointing that early water up in the flames, got to be downward onto what's actually burning. Retired city FF.
Someone burned a church?
I'm not a religious one, but the increasing godlessness is alarming.
To hard to watch. Retrain these guys before they get hurt. Water goes into the fire not watering the brick.

1 3/4" on that lol. Shut everything else down and supply the TL.
1)Nice catch
2)Small town departments do the best they can
3) Negative comments from non fire fighters are usually ignorant.
Where's the water department to booster pressure up
Foliage should have been removed years ago.
might as well had used a garden hose where is the pressure got to be an ISO class 10 fire department
Just a wild guess maybe arson????
