    That’s super great to show us. It would be great if you could possibly have a 30 minute session without talking too but with a timer and a period where you show the exercise and a timed period where you do the exercise afterwards. That would be great.

    Hey there, I saw in a previous comment that you don’t use functional patterns methods anymore. Just curious as to why? I’ve looked into it for a long time but refuse to give them my money for reasons that are probably pretty obvious if you’re familiar with the “brand”(/cult).

    • @Drweberfit
      @Drweberfit  5 місяців тому +2

      I don’t use their exercises but maybe some techniques? I got the 10 week course and didn’t learn anything really except how to foam roll and get into their basic positions. The exercises I perform are hybrid exercises they teach. I don’t do FP but I do still perform agility/power exercises which are what FP performs the most. It’s a complicated structure and you have to commit to only FP which I did for a year then decided it wasn’t best for me

    • @rajt9034
      @rajt9034 5 місяців тому

      @@Drweberfit What got you into FP originally, were you having back pain or anything? I just purchased the 10 week course, been dealing with lots of compression issues.

      @@Drweberfit last question, what was pushed to the edge that you decided FP wasnt best for you? I'm honestly a little concerned with the lack of hypertrophic exercises but im so new to the program i havent started any of their actual training yet

    • @Drweberfit
      @Drweberfit  5 місяців тому +1

      they make it really difficult to practice their specific ways. I think most of the extreme exercises are ballistic, sprinting without a purpose or goal, swinging weights isnt the best for group training, mace's are exactly safe, explosive dynamic movements aren't supposed to be trained at high volumes, feel like it was more a metabolic workout

      @@Drweberfit I just got this from the net: For ballistic movements like kettlebell swings, cleans and snatches an athletic man should start with a kettlebell between 16 kg and 24 kg. Would a 16 kg still be fine for functional patterns?

      It's a fairly trash system with no actual guidance. It's more of a cult surrounding whatever mood naudi is in. Some of their exercises are good to incorporate no doubt but it's not even close to a complete system.
