- Simon started this very fun yet exhausting challenge. He set a good pace of 150 feet. Then Brodie went and couldn't beat that coming in at 140 feet. Here is my attempt at beating them and setting a new high score for anyone reading this to attempt! What do you think, how far will I get?

Brodie I rewatched yours and a lot of those forehands were like laser beams. They went over every single cone. Zing!
@@asweproceed52 Yea maybe Brodie should start using his forehand more for approach shots. They're very consistent.

Two most impressive things to me: 1) how quickly you got to 90 feet 2) how you just glued/taped the finger up and didn't quit! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 great effort!
took less than a minute for me to realize that so far, Paige is the most competitive person to have done this, and explains her success!
As much as it tired her out, I'm not sure the extra speed actually helped. The others who weren't optimizing their movements still ended up exhausted, and as she said, a lot of those were wasted shots.
Love it how the disc golf community embraces these challenges and yet makes them slightly "their own"... Please keep up the fabulous work. Hats off to Nate for helping out!!!

@Rick O'Shea i can guarantee that smuggs vt still has snow, went hiking up near there yesterday. that being said, maybe it's a different smugglers? looks like a great spot either way

I like how Nate was just grabbing them out of the air. You were doing this right - having an auto-disc retriever and a separate camera person, with all your distances marked out. A time saver but still exhausting.
paige, if you get a tear like that take some gel super glue. once its dry it will last about 12 hours or so. old mechanics trick
You're quickly becoming my favorite disc golf pro. I just scooped your 5x Stalker. Looking forward to it.

I currently possess a sum total of 2 discs and have thrown them maybe 50 times (whilst with my very understanding dog on his lead in my other hand...), so I am super envious of how many discs you have and, more importantly, continually amazed by your skill!

Love seeing the strategy evolve for this challenge, like marking out the distances beforehand, having caches of discs at various points, and now having someone to collect your discs for you :P

I am a big fan of her. The Queen of Disc Golf. Actually got to greet her as the true fanboy of the best of the best, which without any doubt she is, at a tournament. So watching the beginning and the end was the plan. But the oranges being markers. I just couldn't stop watching. Oranges!?

Challenge idea for next time: 10 feet challenge - 10 feet, 10 points, 20 feet 20 points, 30 feet 30 points, etc... Keep track of the points.
Each time you make a shot, you move back 10 feet, repeat. IF YOU MISS A SHOT AT ANY GIVEN DISTANCE, you must move back to 10 feet and start again. Continue trying to make more points. For 1 hour. The longer the streak you can achieve, the more rewarding it will be.

I wonder what would change if the challenge were fewest number of throws to some distance, say 100 feet. No time limit just take your time and try to go for quality of shots over quantity

Girl you are a machine! You guys are making such quick work of the 10-80 feet it's absolutely insane. Can't wait to get out and try this myself!
Few notes: 1) That beautiful gazelle, Perkins running discs down and catching them out of the air.
2) SO smart of Paige to take a break, breathe, and grab some water when she was tired. Something I haven't seen the other guys doing.
3) Out to 120' with that injury is damn impressive!

When I was watching Simons run at it I noticed he had a less than ideal bucket, he was also manually walking off the paces and on top of that he only had like 10 discs plus he was running back and forth. Good job Paige.

Completely blown away.
That was a comment I made to Brodie, even though he did not beat Simon that was a lot of upshot practice and he should get a nice confidence boost knowing he could keep up with you veteran pros.
I stopped to play a 2nd round and do ace runs today. Well I got to the first hole I was going to throw bag at and my first shot with a buzzz went straight in!!! I was so happy

I like how people are optimizing this now. Simon was just out with a folding catcher and not even pre-measuring. Now Paige is out here with markers and staff. I hope you give it another shot when you're healed, because you were a favorite of mine to beat this.

Put tape on your left fingers and try your left hand. Have to give it to Simon for coming up with a great practice tool. I can see people making more 100 footers when things start up again.
