Release review. Carter Wise Choice v Scott Sigma v Scott Apex

- My breakdown and opinions on the Carter Wise choice, Scott Sigma, and the Scott Apex thumb releases. I am not an expert by any means but, as someone who has been doing a lot of trial and error and general exploration of archery since getting into bow hunting, I wanted to share my thoughts with anybody who may be new and starting out. I will do a breakdown of the Cobra Harvester soon as well!

👍👍. You are one of very few making videos that actually know how to use a release like these. I have both of these but pre the wise choice because I can leave it on the d-loop. And it just fits my hand. The new Wise Choice I have has no travel adjustment just trigger tension. Love this and it’s a more crispy fire than the older model. The sig is reserved for paper and 3-d only. They both go with me for any type shooting.
Great comparison. Archery for me is back yard and 3-D shooting, I shoot the wise choice (latest gen). There are just times that I have to have the release perfectly aligned or it won't close on the d-loop. I've been looking at the Apex for a hook and go option. I may just have to invest in it and shoot both side by side. I won't get rid of the wise choice, it's a great release. But want remove those extra motions for securing the release.

Trufire hardcore wrist release with the open hook. Super fast.
The sigma you lock while open, loop into d hole, push it back into the string to flip it closed. It'd a smooth fluid movement when you get it down, they just don't explain it at all
Great video. Shoot a Wise Choice myself and was wondering about the Sigma. You answered a couple questions for me about it. Hows the Cobra Harvester? Any thoughts on it so far? Thanks.
The Scott sigma, on Amazon people are talking about the thumb release on it. I'm looking for a resistance release. Not a thumb release. Isn't the Scott sigma a resistance release? Or "back tension" release.
Sorry man, missed this comment coming through. Not sure if they make a back tension one or not but this Sigma is a thumb release. I wonder if people were just manipulating the trigger tension to break off easier when pulling through the shot? I know it has the adjustable tension so very little thumb pressure makes the shot go off.
Currently using wise choice. Looking for a back up/indoor thumb. How does the size of wise choice compare to Scott apex.? What size apex did you get?
How’s the trigger tension on the sigma? Can you make it very heavy without travel?
Which of those 3 releases feel the biggest and the most room in the hand
