There are some vacations that leave you exhausted and wanting to go home, then there are vacations like Hawaii that you try to savor every minute prior to leaving. You definitely captured that feeling in this video.
I'm glad you guys had a good time! I'm always curious to see what visitors like to do, see, and eat when they come here! You sometimes take for granted your surroundings, it's nice to see it through someone else's perspective, especially when they come to visit for the first time.
I just found this video about Haleakalā the only active volcano in Maui !! I know Maui from Moana, that such a great animation movie !! Thank you for making this video, I really like mountains but have never been to the top but from now on I know that the top of the mountain is very beautiful and can even see the clouds clearly.
Pho is a cure all. Every time I come back from vacation, that's my first meal. Warms my belly and revitalizes me to tackle the real world again. Thanks for the Hawaii videos and great AA content in general!
I'm making my way through all the videos I missed or skipped. Unlikely this gets seen, but did you see the Haleakala Silverswords? They're a plant only found on Maui and look like something you'd find on an alien planet instead of Earth. That they're just a few feet (relatively speaking) from an environment that looks like Montana is honestly amazing.
You should plan a trip and video for the Redwoods. The entire area is huge and amazing, but a video highlighting the area between Eureka and the Oregon Border on HWY 101 would be cool. You can actually hike the old HWY 101 on the Damnation Creek Trail.
Did this trip in 1979. I hated Hawaii due to all these "touristy" trips but I appreciate them when I return and don't have to do them again. How many times did you hear the words "silversword"? you will never hear it anywhere else.
Those ridge hikes in Hawaii...I miss them so much! The views are unparalleled... it really does feel alien at times. If you ever get the chance to go back to Hawaii, I would suggest going to Lyon Arboretum. They do a lot for conservation and could probably give you guys some info on the unique origins and evolution of Hawaii's endemic species:)
if you ever come to Norway id love to join on a hike. Im in the Norwegian search and rescue crew (mountain and winter) so you are in good hands.. probably ^^ This goes for everyone. Anyone incoming Norway id love to show you around, always great meeting new people from the world
2:42 What instrument is that? It is used throughout your score, and I know you guys do your own scoring. I have a new age track by Lucia Hwong titled "Beauty." It is from her album Goddess Celestial Realms. I see a similar abbreviated version on UA-cam called Goddess Awakening and that track is called "Celestial Beauty." I think it is the same instrument you're using and used the way. I was just interested in knowing what this exotic sounding instrument is called? Thanx

"Hours of freezing my butt off for a 15 second timelapse."
"Worth it!"
That. That right there is what we call the "Adventure Archives" spirit.
My first time catching a premiere. I’m so glad I found the channel. Y’all got me back into hiking and backpacking during this pandemic .
Man Maui look so awesome! Glad you guys aren't sitting around the beach and sipping a drink, but out there exploring the island. Truly inspiring.
Oh man I miss Maui. I need to go ASAP.

Looking at these comments made me smile. You can easily take it for granted when you live here!
The volcano views. 👌
We spent time in maui and with my wife and kid, practically lived at Saigon Cafe. Super good Vietnamese food!
Those are Baldwin Pines you saw. They were brought by Europeans so that they would have wood for masts for their ships.
Awesome video. Since you can't get around much suggestion- make a "how to video" like what gear you use and how you do things like the time lapse.
It's been done. Robby's channel.

I'd love to be able to go there one day! any chances of you guys going to new hampshire and doing the Presidential Traverse?
For a while there I forgot how clean shaven Andrew looked.
