I often think about getting a kayak watching these videos for Apache and Horseshoe but I have an older Champion boat and not sure I would like not being able to move around freely. Tight Lines...
Good videos thanks for the content is the road good enough to trailer a bass boat in there? And is there a good launch that you could launch the boat with no problems
Thank you! The road is rough but you can definitely get a boat there. There is a single ramp, no dock. Not sure how far the ramp goes. They are going to open the dam tomorrow to let water into Bartlett. There isn't a ton of parking either so get there early.
Another great video! I love fishing and really contemplating about getting a kayak. You have a very nice set up Sr. On the wacky worm..is that a hook with a small weight? TIA
Thank you! I LOVE my kayak! That hook is a Gamakatsu weighted wacky hook, 1/8oz. I prefer weightless whenever I can get away with it but I use a weighted hook on water that's 10+ feet deep or if there's wind. It takes FOREVER for a weightless senko to hit bottom. 😂
Hey Mike I never fished horseshoe, I’m guessing the fish don’t get too much pressure there Mostly fish Bartlett and Saquaro I make it out there Are there any boat ramps? What is the road like? I’m always in a rental car Fun to watch brother !
Hi Dan! I think it's similar to Apache pressure-wise. Less pressure than some lakes due to remoteness and accessibility. There is a single boat ramp. The road is not too bad; typical desert dirt road. Pretty much any vehicle can handle it. They're are letting water out starting today into Bartlett. I'm unsure what kind of impact that will have. Thanks for watching!
Love your videos! You certainly do catch a lot of fish. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, Sir!!! I have definitely had good fortune this year. I'll do my best to continue this hot streak. =)

I hear ya. I wonder how much use my kayak will get when I buy a bass boat, which I plan to do in the near future.
I have to say that was an awesome video! Buy a hook hone and use it on your jigs please!!!
Thank you so much! That's good advice. Funny thing is, I have a hone and never use it. 😅
That mud marlin must have felt like akiller whale on a BFS rod 🤣
For sure! One time it took me 30mins to land a 10# channel cat. So much fun! Thank you!
Does horseshoe allow trolling motors?
@@Thisgirlfishes Yes, gas motors also but I believe there is a 20mph speed limit, which no one follows. =)
Is that mega live scope in kyak?

I wonder if the water release into Bartlett will drain it ?
@@phatpakbaits Dunno. Guess we'll find out. I believe they're releasing water into Bartlett starting today.

@@flipflopfishingAZ got it. Thank you very much.
Nice video… Was this before the fire started out that way or after?
Thank you! This was shot the day before the road closed due to the first fire.
