This is excellent content. There's no other way to see the inside of those panels other than your videos or dismantling something I don't want to dismantle unnecessarily. I consider your work here a public service worthy of respect and appreciation. Well done Sir! Please keep up this type of work if you can. It is appreciated.

I appreciate that so much! The biggest reason I recorded this is so that I can remember how it all goes back together. LOL. Much more to come!

Love what you're doing to save this El Camino. There aren't to many people that would attempt this project. I've got my pair of quarters for my 70 Elco sitting in the garage waiting for outer wheel houses. I really appreciate you taking the time filming the whole process since I've never replaced a quarter before. I'm totally follow this, please keep them coming.

Awww yes, LOVE the recliner (RIGHT in BACK of the 1/4 demo! Lol) in your shop too. And I thought I was the ONLY one with a little mancave in the corner of the shop ,with TV on wall and recliner Lol. 😏👍 Doin nice work too..TOO bad about the GM 1/4 once replaced . Someone couldn't drive OR it just simply was in the wrong place/timing ordeals, unfortunately, like lot of em...

i'll be doing quite a bit of this for the first time on my '72 el camino classic. picked it up about a week ago, completely original never been touched factory 307/TH350. and in amazing shape other than the rust. been off the road since 1986. have frame and floor issues too that i'll be tackling. i have a 68 body on a rolling frame thats from TN (i'm in upstate NY) so i'll have that as a backup plan.

Had to email you today because I've watched maybe 10 of your vid's. Thanks so much for documenting the process of your recreation of one of the finest cars ever made. I have a 1970 SS 396 numbers matching El Camino that I bought in 1978 for $275.00. Yes 45 years ago and it's getting a frame off restoration this time. I've gone through it 2 times before but not like this. I always said that when I retired I would do it right and here I am. Anyway it's going to get both new quarters also and I must admit I was apprehensive about that job however you inspired me and made it look like a piece of cake (Which I'm sure it was'nt) but at least I'm ready to dive into it now. Also I'm thinking of some of your other mod's too but I just love the car so much that I'm probably going to keep it pretty close to orig. shape with some tiny mod's here and there. Don't know where you're located or what your background is. I'm in Colorado Springs CO. but origionally from L.A. area, which is where the car was born, I even visited the GM Plant back in the day, but it's no longer there (Van Nuys, CA. Plant). There's a big strip mall there now and they approiately named the Mall "The Plant" LOL! These cars, Chevelles, Camaro's, El Camino's really were waaay ahead of their time. Anyway keep up the good work and we'll be looking for the next video! Thanks Again! Paul.

Wow your rear quarter was packaged way better than mine from jegs.. no extra box’s and no cardboard covering it just a rear quarter in a giant box, luckily there was no damage but it was fun replacing both rear quarters. 👍

Best advice I can give you is if you are starting a collision shop, there are tons of estimating software packages out there, try one out and see. Good luck my friend.

I have a 1969 impala when it had body work about 30 years ago they just tack welded sheet metal over the damage and putty it , such shotty work when they just could have replaced it with panels at that time, now I have to do it with panels that don’t
Quite match,,,well at least I have a new project. Crappy work just to save money…. Nothing changes, body shops still doin it.
