Such an educational video. I had PMS/PMDD for many years. Not much was known about it nor help available. I’m a completely new person now that I have gone thru menopause! It’s so important to so many women to have a video like this that is educational, supportive and hopeful. You did a great job!❤️❤️❤️
Yes I’ve been there. Stay strong 💗 save those decisions :) write them down and make yourself a promise to come back to them later. The problems won’t go away in a few days, but in a few days you’ll be better equipped to deal with them. 💕
I’m 100% sure I have PMDD also. And just like what you said, it feels like a major depressive episode and then after the first day (sometimes the second day for me), almost every symptom subsides and I’m okay! It does creep back in sometimes after it goes away initially, but it’s never as bad as it is right before I start bleeding. Thank you for posting this video, it helps me feel less alone here. I don’t know anyone close to me who gets it as badly as I do, and it has made me feel like I’m just too sensitive or over exaggerating how I feel. But no, you hit the nail right on the head here
Thank you for this every time whenever I feel depressed have anxiety I wanna leave my marriage and leave everyone or just die I’m glad I find this community 💖🥺
I was the same way until I started talking Paxil. It helped almost immediately. Ask your Dr about it. It actually saved my marriage. I was so miserable I was planning on leaving my husband because all I wanted to do was be by myself. Paxil completely changed all that and I did a 180. Good luck
I love that you made this video! I have struggled with extremely difficult PMS in the past and it can honestly be almost debilitating at times. I’m glad you’re speaking out on this issue and offering helpful tips to cope. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this video! I have struggled with PMDD for years now, and it seems like it has been getting worse every year. I heard that it’ll get even worse once you hit your thirties. It’s such a difficult condition to live with. Thank you for the helpful tips and for making me feel less alone 🤍😭
Thank you for sharing this video. I have struggled with anxiety and depression all my life. You have given me inspiration for self care that will help augment what my medication does for me.
Unfortunately my extreme fatigue and social isolation during this week stops me from going to the gym. I go the other three weeks but maybe something I can do indoors like yoga would help during PMDD week for me. 🤷🏻♀️
Exercise DVDs have been my lifeline. They're happy and smiling and sometimes I feel like they help lift me up and I can laugh and smile with them. There are for sure a few days a month I don't smile with them cuz life is SO impossible with pmdd but I PUSH THROUGH and tell myself to keep moving keep moving.
Thank you for making this video. I feel so seen by this, and also the tips are actually stuff that sounds like it would help, from someone who clearly knows what it’s actually like living with this hideous condition
I have been suffering from extreme PMDD for 4 years now and It has gotten so much worse and I felt like two seperate people. I have researched everything into PMDD and nothing has made me feel better. After watching this video I feel so uplifted and it has put so simply on things we can do. When you mentioned about not scheduling important things and not making plans during when you dont feel so good do you have any tips on how to avoid having to justify yourself to people and not getting guilty for saying no to people especilly close family, in laws, friends and work? Thank you for this video I have learnt so much
Me too, exactly. Except with me I would be so so angry and mad at everyone and everything. I had to have a hysterectomy last summer keeping my ovaries and I have to say that my PMDD disappeared. I am so grateful. But I heard that Paxil can be taken for a week or two before your period to help. I have taken Paxil for anxiety and it works wonders for me.
Oh am sorry to hear that you have to deal with this! We missed you and yes I totally agree about exercising sooo much good for your mood even 15 or 30 minutes walk can help! If you can’t go to gym 🌸💜
I get depressed the day or two before my period and I try to tell myself it’s just PMS. It’s awful, like despair and anxiety. Can’t sleep and I get jaw aches from clenching my jaw 😰
I loved this video! I feel the same way about Alcohol! When i started working out and doing hot yoga regularly i started to hate the feeling Alcohol gave me.
Absolutely. These days I can tolerate a couple ounces of a nice dry white wine as an occasional thing but I wouldn’t want any more than that or on a regular basis.
I do have a formal diagnosis. Yeah, basically, it affects day to day life (during that time) SO much more. Get a good psychiatrist if yall think you might have it. And work on regulating the basics (exercise, diet, and sleep).
Thank you for raising awareness 💖🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️💖 more awareness will genuinely save lives, keep going u r doing so much xxxxxxxxxx lets look out for our young girls and each other and try to use this horrible experiences to maybe help others not suffer so much through this 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you for being brave and sharing your experience with the internet and also I'm sorry you have to deal with this especially on night shifts 😮 When you're feeling this way, I hope you have the capacity to remember that by making this video, you have helped so many people and made the world a better place 💜
Thank you for sharing. So glad I'm not alone in this. ❤ One thing that is life changing for my PMDD is a supplement called Jubilance. I highly recommend it to anyone struggling with PMDD.
If you think your PMDD is bad wait till peri menopause and then menopause youll wish you never woke up. Im dreadming my menopause as im so bad on my pmdd atm i honestly fear for my life
I suspect I have PMDD because right before my period I tend to get suicidal and don’t want to go on/become very hateful and grumpy. Its crazy how being proactive firing that week might just help. Thanks for the video
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with these conditions. I like many women, I am sure, have that in various degrees and knowing how to cope isn’t easy. If you could share more about your experience with taking antidepressant, I know I would really appreciate it a lot. Also, if perfumes were could be therapeutic and which ones. I know they help me a lot. Hugs!
I too am self diagnosed and ever since I quit taking the pill, I began logging my periods with stardust and noticed how much my cycles were conflicting with my moods. Ive suffered since preteen years and I’m 38 now. I’m starting to take herbal supplements and change my diet. Quitting alcohol definitely helped for sure as well!
hi! anyother woman with PMDD here and also who loves coffee and caffeine - I highly recommend trying cacao (I love the oaxican spice blend by ora cacao) because it helps sooo much with my PMDD. it has some caffeine but also energizes with theobromine which is acts like an anti represent its high in magnesium yummy and so comforting in my opinion :)
Thank you very relatable 🌹 I'm the same way when it comes to workload via career too much is too hard on the mind and body. And those 40hr weeks are too much for me.
❤❤❤ pms is sometimes difficult. Loved that you made this video about your self. I know life is not easy, but when we grow we can do that change that we need in our life. I am thankful that I don’t have pms that hard, but my heart goes to you 🙏🏻❤️ and I am happy that you can do that change in plans when the hard time comes.
I just started taking a Chasteberry supplement. Hoping it helps with my irritability this month! I also am making sure to take a god quality multivitamin as well.
This video really helped me :) It is so relaxing and helping💕 Thank you so much! After watching this video I subscribed you :) Thank you for sharing your experinece and advice 🥰
Thank you for encouraging video. I’ve a question. How you deal with small children at home on those days? What do you plan or don’t plan?. There are things you can avoid as being with them (they mostly with me at home) and we don’t have family close by to help. Any tips?
thank you very much for this info I also suffer from pmdd ❤️ I wanted to ask you if there are days when it is better to train/go to the gym and others where it is not
Honestly, sometimes it’s the most painful thing and so hard to do depending on the day and current life circumstances. But I always feel better even if I get just 15 to 20 mins of a workout in. But I know there will be days when I just can’t get myself there, so I try to go consistently during my good days:)
Nothing helps pmdd believe me , only a hysterectomy can resolve it but even that sends you straight into full blown menopause, I’m 55 had pmdd since age 16 had pmdd 35 years , believe me I know my stuff, I’m in perimenopause now and literally bedridden with symptoms literally can’t function defiantly 💯 worse in peri , I cant wait for full blown menopause for pmdd to end 🤞🏼
Before my period, I will cry a lot, or I will get mad without any reason. I just can’t help it. My husband doesn’t like it & will say you should know how to handle your emotions. He doesn’t help me, he will make me feel worse 😢
I had a quite dysfunctional past from about age 8 to ... I guess 20 ish years old was when things began to improve for me, alot of family dynamics etc - so I have always struggled to some extent with mental health issues. I had post partum depression with both children and my mental health is significantly better now than it was years ago. It's just that PMDD that remains. I am not sure if I had it before childbirth 💗 Because things were generally tough at those times in my life.
Relationships ruined, opportunities lost, money wasted. I need serious help because I can’t continue like this. I don’t want to.
i feel you. same here. it just fucking sucks.
Me too I can’t take anymore
Have you talked to a dr? I’ve been using l-theanine and vit d3

Thank you:) I’m glad you feel like a whole new person and yes it’s incredible how much we are affected by our hormones.
I wish my menopause to be soon.
You said that this horrible pain will end in menopause ?? Omg I'm so Relieved to hear that but I have to wait for long time cuz im 38 years old
@@ChOuafa i will wait longer. Still i am 19 😞😞 i hate being a women
OMG this has literally been the biggest hindrance upon my entire life. I thought I was bipolar. I thought I was crazy but no, it’s PMDD
This is such a great video, I know during my pmdd days I suddenly want to make all these huge life decisions, not a good idea
Yes I’ve been there. Stay strong 💗 save those decisions :) write them down and make yourself a promise to come back to them later. The problems won’t go away in a few days, but in a few days you’ll be better equipped to deal with them. 💕
Thank you ❤ My PMDD is life altering. Only relief is when my period actually starts. I hope youre doing well ❤
My PMDD has started after I went through abusive narcissistic relationships. Too much trauma messed up my hormones.
I’m 100% sure I have PMDD also. And just like what you said, it feels like a major depressive episode and then after the first day (sometimes the second day for me), almost every symptom subsides and I’m okay! OMG I feel you girl! The "lightswitch" dicription is just too accurate. It's the same for me. Thank you for making this validating video.
💯 yes!! As soon as I start my period, it’s a 180 switch!
Everyone in my household is scared when this happens. This is tough not just for me but for my family too.
I just got diagnosed and it feels a lot better knowing there's an actual cause for what I've been dealing with. thank you for this video ❤

Yes I can vouch it definitely has gotten worse in my 30’s!! ❤️
I love how you explained why you're not in camera, and your explanations are on point. Thank you❤
Wow! I’m dealing with this literally right now. Your video helped me a lot and has given me hope. Thank you for this!!❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing this video. I have struggled with anxiety and depression all my life. You have given me inspiration for self care that will help augment what my medication does for me.
I appreciate you so much for making this video for us ladies with PMDD. We have so many similarities and it’s nice to not be alone in this.
I'm always praying that I can get through this. It's hard. 😢

I’ve found nature walks or sitting in the park/sun is helpful if I can muster up the energy to get out the door
Also, there are many UA-cam videos for workout at home. The lazy girl workout is great 🎉 you should check it out.
I'm glad I found this video!
Now I feel less lonely
Same here!!! 🙏❤
Great video. Much needed as some people don’t understand Pms let alone the extreme version. 🌸
This is the best video about PMDD ever.

Very good point, many times I have felt the need to say I'm in my period, please leave me alone, with out feeling the others will feel rejected
Diet and prayyyy✝️

Thanks a lot for this, it’s so relatable, planning around this helps, except when you’ve got OSCEs that week 😢
Thank you for this video, you are not alone and apparently I'm not either ❤
This helped so much ❤
Excellent, excellent video... thank you so much for sharing your experiences. 👍❤👍
I just started taking a Chasteberry supplement. Hoping it helps with my irritability this month! I also am making sure to take a god quality multivitamin as well.

Does anyone find that certain external circumstance can trigger there PMDD?
Thank you! I need to hear this information!
Love this video self care that is what I’m working on myself now
Thank you for encouraging video. I’ve a question. How you deal with small children at home on those days? What do you plan or don’t plan?. There are things you can avoid as being with them (they mostly with me at home) and we don’t have family close by to help. Any tips?

I am a coffee lover as well ☕️☕️🌸
Did you end up doing a video on the medication you took temporarily? I would like to hear that.
I got diagnosed today. The guilt and shame is unbearable.
So helpful, thank you for your honesty. I am wondering which antidepressant you took?
Thanks so much for sharing - I can definitely relate 🤍
Very comforting video, thanks!
Thank you for this video ❤
Did you feel like your symptoms got better after you had children?
The management for pmdd is ocp's and SSRI, this is the mecical treatment .
i m going through it ryt now.
I wish my younger self was able to view this video
thank you very much for this info I also suffer from pmdd ❤️ I wanted to ask you if there are days when it is better to train/go to the gym and others where it is not

do you reccomend any help for getting sleep? When my symptoms start I won’t sleep for days no matter what I do
Since I've battled insomnia...I finally found an answer by waking 3 hours earlier than normal. But I take a couple 20 minute power naps in the day.
Thanks for sharing 💙
You nailed it .
Before my period, I will cry a lot, or I will get mad without any reason. I just can’t help it. My husband doesn’t like it & will say you should know how to handle your emotions. He doesn’t help me, he will make me feel worse 😢
Mine too. He is passive aggressive covert narcissist. Do not rely on him...he does not get it. Louise Hay has been my life line.
Thank you ❤
Has this changed since having your child or not?
I had a quite dysfunctional past from about age 8 to ... I guess 20 ish years old was when things began to improve for me, alot of family dynamics etc - so I have always struggled to some extent with mental health issues. I had post partum depression with both children and my mental health is significantly better now than it was years ago. It's just that PMDD that remains. I am not sure if I had it before childbirth 💗 Because things were generally tough at those times in my life.
PMS is bad enough..
