Old heads at the gym. 'Walk... Gimme dat'
what does that mean bro? I don't get it. I'm very curious right now tho
O when they walk by and smack the ball out ur hands
@@glendaledavemunoz8181 it mean they think it's a travel
Facts cause it is 💯
X_odus no it’s not 😂
3 months ago, I was an absolute monster. Nobody could stop me. I was even being scouted. I would finish in any way I wanted, whenever I wanted but I got patellafemoral pain syndrome. I couldn't play for 2 months cause it was pure pain in my knee. I came back and I had lost my explosiveness and ability to handle contact. This video reminded me that I can finish in other ways that aren't physical. Thanks coach!
Muhammad Azeem how tall are you
5'11"
Muhammad Azeem I’m 6”4 and 15 but I weight almost 100kg about 215 pounds and over weight I will become fitter this off season
@@axmxms7100 yo did you grow any taller? I’m 6’5, 15 years old I wanna see if I can grow a few inches when I’m older
lucky asf@@jamal0001
Coach donte get right to the video. He need to start doing the videos more often.
You credited James Harden. Thumbs up for intellectual honesty.
I seen kyrie do a over the head move like that and I’ve been trying to do it but I just couldn’t figure it out thanks for helping coach Dante THEY😴WE💪 I appreciate you
Chris he does the low one too the skill he has is incredible
@@matthewruto coach Dante is underrated
Rafey facts
matthew ruto does that mean I’m crazy skilled? I did that in my first try when I decided to practice it
The Greek Freak tbh I love watching Giannis play I just think he’s still got to work on his game
Thanks so much! This will definitely improve my layup skills and win those one vs one!❤️❤️😁😁
I agree whith the others please more video from coach Dante, I saw so many else and no one works when I try this on the court until I wached coach Dante's videos I try and it was real surprised that is works I can pass defender with new moves big regards for coach and Thak you because of you I'm on the new level 😊

I literally said that like 2 weeks ago
Great vid
This is how I teach hardens move as well. Nicely done
brotha thx for the knowledge definitely works perfect 💪👍🙏
Love this channel
i needed this one
Best coach ever!
Truly...well done !!!
Thanks coach for this awesome drill 😁😁
Thank you teacher.
Brother you did an "EXCELLENT” job on these demostrations.
I do the cradle all the time it helps a lot as a smaller guard to no a aggressive move to go to to get to the rim
Thank you imma try this tomorrow
Love this guy
Thanks coach ur the best!
Kyrie does all this and i used to practice these moves
Yo coach rock can you make a video about how to shoot better in game speed. That will be very helpful for my game. Thx
The 2nd one was my bread and butter in high school. Drive the lane a big man would always try to pick me up so when i went over the head i could dish out, or if he wasn't in position it was a easy lay
Beautiful nice moves
I definitely have to master all this drills and pick-ups
Thank you alot man, im planning on being in my schools basketball team next year.
I first started covering the ball going through contact when I seen Nick Van Exel doing it.
Great video!!!
Please keep them coming my son is really learning from them.
Just FYI the link for the free program is not working
Thx man.
I Be Sure to use it, John Wall one Pretty Cool
Nice video
Coach donte for the first tip. What if you are off balance?
I love it!
I like the rap beat behind the scene
Thanks
Shout out from the Philippines 🇵🇭!
Hahahahha Sana all
you are may hero
Amazing
Nice moves
Simple but effective coach🏀
Best tutorial ever
So what foot you lead with for a right handed layup and left handed layup
very effective move
This is kickgenius
love U from Cambodia🇰🇭🇰🇭
Make videos on finishing by contacting defenders in layup
This is clean in the nba/fiba because its just two steps after the pick up but in college and in high school the rule is based on whether you put back your pivot foot which would make this a travel
9 times out of 10 the ref would probably call double dribble or a travel even though it’s not in slow motion.
YvngGoat lol how is that a double
No they wouldn’t I think your a rock
Hi
Coach can I have a video about up&down lay up in your channel?
Makes sense
Thx I a kid playing in rep it works 10/10
Do kawhi signature moves :-)
Thank You For Subtitle
coach dante have big explosion!!!
Coach donte is that a jordan 11 ie?
The behind the back is nice combined with an euro-step , but difficult
In slo mo u picked up dribble 2 fast
and that's exactly how the rules get bent. during demonstration its easy to do it with out traveling but once at full speed its harder to accomplish (and harder to spot a travel). Remember when the step thru was first allowed?
Hi Coach Dante, can you dunk? If yes could you make a video on dunk technique pleassee?(with coach Rocky's approvement of course)
Coach rock has a video on jump technique already..keep working! :)
Man coach rock's got alot of jump videos on this channel, and some FREE workouts as well as some paid ones like Plyovertical (Its really effective, you could get to 35 inch vertical atleast.)
Yo check out DFS Basketball they making dunk content ON THE REG HOLLAAA
What shoes are coach Dante wearing? THEY FIRE 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Fr 👀
Emmanuel Intelligence idk
Emmanuel Intelligence Jordan 11 low IE
Levi Spina 🖒
Levi Spina oh yea you right
that's cool
GOD bless🙏🏾💕
3:15 Traveled you’re supposed to take that first step before you pick up the ball so that it will be 2 steps after the pickup. Here it was 3 steps
My only problem is scoreing mentality I can shoot and have good handles and use these moves but just don't try to get myself a shot but pass it to my teammates to set them up
John Redelfs dame brother, it all comes back to confidence. We both aren’t fully confident in our abilities so we miss opportunities.
Can u do those with a defender
Ik pro because of this video thanks
99% of the time this is a travel in pickup games.
What are pickup games
@@obinnaodoemenam8762 street basketball
On me
Most of the moves he does are travel unles your in the nba
Thank’s coach Dante where are you from you look like dominican or puertorican
#TheySleepWeGrind 🏀🔥🔥👌🏼
@Elijah Ellis its pretty dope. We have the same name bro.
Also work on planting just before the ball contacts the ground and there'll never be an issue
Coach Dante does a vid - best pack my suitcase coz it's time for travelling. This vid however was legal and very informative. Keep it up.
@@ILB the first move he explained is probably the best move featured on this channel in terms of effectiveness, real game application and how easy it is to perform. Also, IT DOES NOT COUNT AS A STEP!
Happy Cactus if you look in slow mo he took 3 steps alot
2:05 🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇
came as quick as I can
I have horrible posture and shoulder pain when shooting repetition. How can I stop pain and improve posture for that photo shot jump shot
Yoga can help
2nd thanks it works !
If I hop step instead of 1-2 is that still not a walk?
I did all of these and literally everyone at the gym called travel and said I took four steps
Break it down for them and stand up for yourself. Always some scrubs calling travel cause they don't understand the rules.
I do the that au coach literally in the corner screaming travel
Alvaro Fraire that sucks, maybe shelf it in practice in front of him and break it out in a game if they don’t call it he’ll notice if they do call it that’s just unfortunate a lot of people don’t know the rules aren’t exactly the same as 40 years ago
jelly game strong asf
Some of this stuff is way too advanced for me...but I'm going to try this in the gym with my son anyway.
Mine is usually double behind the back.
This will make me unguardable!!!
Try to put subtitles in french too
Please
im a smaller guy, and have ALOT of trouble getting in the paint, because im around 5'5 in highschool, and im also 100 pounds, so its not easy for me to push back defenders, so i try to just cradle the ball and run straight to the basket, or i just shoot heavily contested 3's, but i need some help getting in there
Utilize mid range and floaters since you are a smaller player. Don't force yourself to HAVE to lay the ball in. Only when its given
Ist good he be travelling
Finally!! I found that fucking move!!
I hope these workouts be as hard as them hard as exhales y’all be doin when y’all do these drills 😭
Is this travel in Fiba rules?
When I get a job I'ma get CBG scoring system. This white boy gonna play in the league.🏀🔥
I feel the first move is most effective
I am allways trying to do your moves right of the bat
Tuff
got the flavors on God
Im aprox. 5’7 , standing reach is about 6’10, 110 lbs and im in 8th grade. I want to be able to dunk by my freshman or sophomore year. Is it possible?
Anything is possible if you put the work in. You want to perfect the technique before anything. Then try plyometrics and jump everyday. You need to stretch most importantly. Im training as well and staying consistent and persistent is key :) hmu if you have any questions
@@jacobebe1585 what plyo the most effected?
Can you explain why the first move is not a travel? You had both of your hands on the the ball when both of your feet were on the floor. The moment you took another step and your back foot was off the floor when the front foot was still on the floor, it's a travel already, but you took another step, that looked like a lot of traveling. If someone calls me on that, I don't even know how to defend the move. Other moves are the ones I use. They are not travel because you said you pick the ball up, but you always had your hand on the side or on the top of the ball, that means you were controlling the ball without really pick it up. I either carry the ball when both of my feet are off the floor, then take 2 steps, or I carry the ball on the first step when my other foot is off the floor, then take another step to avoid getting called travel. For the cradle layup, if you get the timing right, cradle the ball when both of the feet are off the floor, or cradle the ball on the first step of layup, it wouldn't be a travel move.
It is 100% a travel by NCAA standards.
5:25 what was that sound?
Cradle is still hard
