If you want to know how much DE really cares for this game just look at Rebeccas reaction when asked in a game awards interview about what she played to do after they were done with warframe. She started to cry and said she didn't want to even think about it.
Can you listen to the full For Narmer song? Its about 3 minutes and I'd love to see your reaction to it! (Also listen to We Lift Together beforehand to feel more of the difference)
@@hoorsbunker1250 There's an opera singer/music youtuber/streamer called Marco Meatball who plays Warframe from the perspective of a musician. Interestingly different.
Dude, what you are saying at 15:00 about not noticing Duviri connections is EXACTLY what I was thinking about last night watching your video talking about the Natah quest and thinking about that 'split' that I heard at least some veterans had about Duviri 'spoiling' The Second Dream moment when you realize who the Tenno are. Personally I was of the opinion that sure, that initial hit of finally getting to character creation 150 hours in (or for a veteran, 1k+ hours in) because Duviri exists, but you do get to experience it in a different way. Note my use of the word "was". Watching your videos and thinking about it more, I realized not only do you still get the *WOW* moment with The Second Dream and The War Within, but the effect doubles up when you finally do connect it to Duviri, the Drifter and such through The New War. Somehow DE managed to not remove/damage a key experience from the game like some thought but managed to create a situation where that experience could, for some players, double up on the effect. Very impressive stuff.
Fun little fact about the Drifter part with the narmer veil, it doesn't work in corrupting the Drifter because the mask is tuned to the Operator who is originally part of this universe. Drifter never met lotus, so the attempted gaslighting does nothing more than give them a headache
@@zearcjustice7837 i play Warframe more than any PS2 game from my childhood, have more hours on it than CS 1.6 and CSGO, i get out to play Souls, Elden Ring etc and then come back to Warframe. THIS is a great game, above and bebyond most games
Little things about the grineer perspective. Grineer were genetically engineered to always obey, so everything is "for the queens!", but right at the last second kahl changes his mind and decides that his brothers are a more noble cause, which would actually make him defective. Speaking of which this leads into the Defection mission type that people hate farming. You're saving grineer that have a genetic defect that makes them pacifists, and the faction Steel Meridian are a group of grineer like kahl. They want to be individuals, free from the homogeny of the clones and foot soldiers.
@@ironwolfsaber2739 yeah, their only roles were to listen to orokin and fight. They obey the queens because they are OG orokin and had been using continuity to keep going this whole time
@@Xercodo34 There seem to be variants to the gene defects. The Steel Meridian, Clem, Kahl, etc. are able to resist the "flock mind" and the Queens' compulsion, but they still want to fight. The kavor defectors in the mission are full pacifists. Even Tyl Regor seems to be working on controlling the defects in some way to make his ideal grineer tubeman.
@@Xercodo34 also they are copies of copies of copies who lost their masters ages prior. You have to remember we wake up so far in the future that we barely understand language anymore. also I am pretty sure the queens are not orokin, they were a system of control put in to keep production up and used to to achieve this goal. The Grineer are below animals from the lens of an Orokin.
This is why I could never stream. I don't think I struggled as much with the Bibo fight but I'm pretty sure I don't want a live record of every dumb thing I've done playing games. For instance, I don't want to talk about how long it took me to open all the doors as Teshin...
In the beginning Steve refused to join the stream. One day they finally got him on. He was nervous and seemed to feel a bit out of place. Then He saw the fan art. I swear that man looked like he was about to cry. I think that moment he fell in love with the fans. That is what makes warframe special. Rebeca and Steve just having a moment when they revealed the first open area can’t remember the name. The crowed screamed yelled cheered and cried. You saw the apprehension melt. And again I think they both fell in love with the fans.
Seeing Fortuna changed and hearing the new version of their song, hit many of us hard It was like watching our failures turned into psalm, and sung aloud with joy for all of us and any who supported us to hear, as if through them Ballas was declaring "I've won"
24:47 the problem is that the ENTIRE quest has parallels. Teshin talking about the lotus being a sentient. The play space being chunks of the Zaramin morphed into plains. Teshin showing his veil and narmer flag. Kullervo is a parallel to the sacrifice. The Dax fake out resulting you being choked out is a copy of the second dream’s climax. The dynamic between you and Teshin is the War within beat for beat. You see Ballas’ mirror sitting pretty. You learned about the angels and the wall of LOHK who speaks in void tongue in the tablets.
I played Duviri Paradox (the opening questline) after The Second Dream and The War Within but before The New War, and in my opinion that's the best timing to play it. While the reveal of the Drifter showing up in TNW gave me little more than a sly grin and a "yep, called it", seeing the reveal of this "Drifter" in Duviri before it - seeing her look _just_ like my Operator, but aged-up in this mysterious void-bound realm - my jaw hit the floor.
"We created monsters we couldn't control. We drugged them, tortured them, eviscerated them... We brutalized their minds... but it did not work. Until they came. And it was not their force of will - not their Void devilry - not their alien darkness... it was something else. It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly, broken thing-- And take away its pain." I'm misty-eyed typing that. The emotion and care put into this game is second to none.
for many players, duviri came after new war and was also after new war narratively which is why we never had a problem with connecting the drifter, but since you get access to duviri way before new war, it is probably harder for new players to make the connection.
DE not tricking it's players, nor begging nor blackmailing but none the less making a game with attention of detail is why I have been playing it since 2018 and that every so often I toss some money their way. Not because I have to but because they frigging deserve it.
Really the only time I'll spend money is with a 75% discount. Even then, I usually trade for plat for the most part. Though I'll gladly buy stuff like tennogen, since that also goes to the creators who made those skins and stuff
Play "For Narmer" and "We All aloft Together" side by side. I felt chills hearing For Narmer by itself, but the dissonance between the two songs side by side was haunting, not in a bad and negative way, but it lived rent free in my head that it almost blended seamlessly together.
In regards to communication, theres one other small detail with the dev shorts that I feel is also great to address. In between discussions Steve usually watches comments to answer questions, nothing too crazy some devs do it too. However, if its interesting enough he also addresses comments that call them out, are bitter, or trolling which he dubs "spicy questions". A lot of devs will seemingly try to ignore them, but DE embraces it knowing that it could be an opportunity for change. Also with the most recent one (as of this comment), while they cut it off because the 15min time limit, they straight up addressed the crafting timers that you've brought up as a sore point. It's genuinely the reason I will always go to bat for DE and Warframe and I never feel "icky" buying plat or packs.
The chat comment at 7:00 really hits the spot. "This game is a fever dream." I cackled when you got Vero's name wrong at 9:05. It's actually narratively significant that AladV doesn't remember anyone's names, while the Grineer captain remembers the individual names of his solders. I love Warframe because of little details like that. Whispers in the wall was a revolutionary quest, because it was the first time Warframe effectively "tapped" into the horror genre.
When i first heard For Narmer, i clenched the armrests on my chair hard enough to crack the rubber. This quest is a masterpiece, a true gem. Managed to break my heart twice over, first with this song, then with that beautiful final choice.
By that point you know Ballas is a piece of shit. But seeing people who turned labour into hope, who kept chugging along under the goddamn corpus - people with such spirit that the oldest woman in the solar system dotes on their kids, as best her liberal mind can manage - and to hear these amazing people /singing like that/. Years later and it still boils my blood.
When DE came out to PAX Aus, they came out and talked to us while we were queuing for their panel... and after their panel, spent almost 3 hours answering questions they couldn't get to, and taking selfies with their fans.
I truly think--while amazing as a storyline-- doing the Duviri Paradox as the optional "start" is a disservice to a new player. It used to be that you had to do the full progression of the Tenno's story, *then* do New War and then Duviri, and it was a lot more coherent and more things were easy to connect together.
Triple A devs nowadays take the path of least resistance and the safest route. Warframe devs constantly takes incredible risks, play their cards right, and genuinely have passion with what they create. And the results show with how great things have been for Warframe
yeah, its also resulted in half-baked content islands and abandoned systems, but i think the new team has been performing a bit better, not rushing out as much stuff
And what's more - they fuck up. Dramatically! They've outright broken frames, weapons, modes, time and again. And then they get it right. And people just keep believing in them. One of these days railjack and necramech and k drives will get what they're due. Is it cope? Is it faith? Who can say!
@@Koranthuswhat new team? It’s the same people. You don’t think Steve isn’t overlooking his baby? He’s the CEO now. If anything he has more final say. But he’s elevated people he trusts to make right decisions.
@@fakedemocracy he gave the creative director role to someone else and hes working on a whole new game, and the new quest have a real shift in approach so I think the team got shaken up a bit
@@lasauceart eh? He’s still the boss. All of the old crew I can assure you still works on Warframe just in a more limited capacity and probably more as support due to game engine life.
i’m sad you didn’t go over the sacrifice, that was my favorite quest i’ve ever done, while new war may be a more thematical and “better” quest, something about them turning a human into a frame and the story of that human was so crazy to me. this game truly is one of a kind and no one does it better than DE, i am always so excited for the next quest to come out. hope you enjoyed jade shadows as much as i did
Anyone ever fill you in about the Design Council? Originally for Master and Grand Master Founder pack purchasers, then opened up to 25 people that were highly active on the forums, and they bring in new active players every once in a while. Every so often they ask for idea for new items, mechanics, frames. Then put out a poll for the them to vote on for what is going into the game from those suggestions. It's one of the only games I've seen do this and it's amazing. Seeing something in game that you had a hand in designing is something I never experienced in any other game.
I've said it once, and I'll say it a thousand more times - Warframe is DE's baby. Their literal hail-mary to stay afloat when their company was running out of money, AND their passion project they'd been trying to pitch for years, besides. (dark sector was born from one such pitch, hence why there's so many warframe parallels in there) DE is the only company I know of in the industry willing to risk making something NOONE cares about (rip Lunaro) because 'hey this sounds like it could be fun/interesting' and literally nothing else. It's why the big content drops all tend to be so different - and I LOVE that they experiment with their own game like that. Not to mention the streams - they stay in close contact with their own playerbase, they course-correct if something doesn't work out, and do I even need to mention the 'oh god we created a slot machine' bit? They're all good eggs and I wish the entire team the best. Also - more people aren't playing or talking about the game because when a lot of people look at warframe, they only see the massive time sink/grind and the real-money shop, and immediately dismiss it as just another mega-grindy pay-to-win, unfortunately.
Not unfortunately. Most people only play a game for 50 or 100 hours at most. Warframe only starting to get fun after 50 hours means most won’t have fun with the game and should not start it.
@@Haggis-Giggles4692 The 'unfortunate' part is more directed towards people instantly dismissing it as a Pay To Win game, not them seeing that it requires a lot of time and deciding it isn't for them. It's fair to decide you don't wanna play it because of that, but what isn't fair is seeing that it's a FTP with a real-money shop and instantaneously deciding it's a P2W nightmare that they won't be able to do anything in unless they shell out cash, which just objectively isn't true.
The game has great story missions and overall its has one of the best and friendliest communitys ive ever seen. To every single wf player out there. I love you guys ❤❤
I agree but I've met some toxic trade players lol just the other day someone said to me "That trade is a waste of space and time and you should leave the game" I'm like damnnn what I do??
@@yoitsjhill694 i was called a cheater bc a Item didnt appear in the other Guys inventory. Turns Out IT was bugged and appeared 20 min later, and i got flamed for the entire 20 min.
9:08 I see what you did there 🤣🤣 Well... good video, I really appreciate the way you consumed the warframe content, instead of other content creators who consume the content immediately without stopping in order to get to the newest content available, I think your platform is a good way to spread what Warframe is, being transparent and with constructive criticism in the process. I can't wait to continue seeing more content besides warframe.
The comunity of this game is so good, when i started trading with people for plat i was MR6, and some guys just gave me some extra plat and one gave me a full set for revenant prime, its one of the best gaming comunities
Honestly if Revenant's kit didn't have his 4(because i think it promotes annoying gameplay and optimally is unintuitive to mod for early on using duration and efficiency to reduce constant drain), he is 100% what i would recommend to new players for just "hey, this is a good starter frame to keep you alive and do some damage while you learn the next 20 hours of systems that the game is barely going to explain."
@@ps3beatswii yeah but that was kind of my point was that a new player wont have helminth so i think they should give him a good instant use 4th ability so people don't end up needing help modding it like Excal 4, because the game doesn't say that duration affects energy/s exalted weapons so if you only have access to streamline and only use it because you think continuity is pointless for it then you are shooting yourself in the foot if you really like exalted blade and want maximum uptime for it. Honestly its similar to how Rhino should have been swapped in as a starter in place of Loki, as the tanky option, because his kit is so well balanced as far as Tankiness, CC and a self buff. Actually that still might be better since Rev wants as much power strength as possible for more stacks whereas rhino can throw all the basic mods on and still tank the star chart so yeah, Rhino should be a starter.
I remember trading some prime junk for plat and I accidentally was going to sell some old valuable vaulted stuff, so the guy telling me informed me of it and decided to pay more for it if I wanted to still sell it. (I checked afterwards and it indeed was the market value for the stuff I was selling.)
The thing about Duviri Paradox is that it was created to be played at any time in your journey, if its your first quest (now after Vor's Prize) or after every quest you made so far. Its literally happening at the same time as the begining of The New War. The Drifter and the Operator feel the stab at the same time, and you receive the hand right after it's throw into the void. Even if that didn't happened in the Origin System. Or after you have finished the new War (like I did, since I played that after it was launched). It's the concept of a paradox of a thing starting itself. And two people existing at the same time. I love the void untime craziness.
Ive paid for a lot of Platinum, access packs, Tennocon digitickets and donated to their charity causes because Warframe is the one single game where I do not regret my purchase at all, and I am actually willing to give them money due to how incredible as devs they are.
It’s so refreshing to hear smart people talk about a game we both love. I genuinely cannot find the words to express how awesome of an experience this is and here you are reading my mind
This is a really good video Dude, andI think it was a shame you had the chance to play Duviri before the New War, as I and a lot of others were only seeing the drifter for the first time during the new war and it almost broke my brain. After seeing the new war and realising that the Narmer influence on terraforming the Vallis was actually working, and since that quest, the place has left frost and more livable open area, that it made me consider that Narmer, despite his shortcomings, was actuallly benefiting certain groups, but he was such a dork that we had to take him down!
I'll say this: When Warframe will eventually reach its end of support, I'm most likely to drop gaming altogether. Every time I entered in a gaming slump, Warframe was the game I would open out of boredom and put and end to it.
People and passion projects, ambitions, dreams, visions and movements. This is where creativity lives and dies in its natural state. Look at the end of golden eras and the smaller people will always bring it back, not as a product but as a cycle. Anger, frustration, disappointment, learning, creativity, novelty, masterpiece. Learn how to make or learn how to see…
I know this is 3 weeks old, but it's probably good to note that Digital Extremes has calimed they want and will seek how to turn the game into an offline experience when the servers eventually close in the far future. Sure, it wont happen for a while, hopefully, but the end of Warframe according to what DE's goals are is making an offline experience you would be able to play and experience offline despite servers are closed.
Especially the tennogen stuff, iirc, goes both to DE and the creators of the custom paid stuff. I could be wrong with the number, those creators get like 65% back when players purchase their creation(s)
Thanks. Nearly 800hrs in and still haven't reached Steel Path. Haven't figured how to get plat and have been relying on Night wave for many of the parts needed. Old & slow is my excuse, Plusss, I'm in no rush. Your videos are an inspiration, thanks for them. The last games I got involved with were Unreal Tournamen & the Quake series 1 - 3 and haven't bothered since 'till I got the Xbox and found Warframe a few months ago. I'm gently frustrated at my lack of progress but am totally hooked even though I have a foundry full of frames I can't yet use & am stuck with Mag, Volt & Limbo & a trickle of Forma to try & do the job. It's more than a game, it's something else, something more!
Relics are a decent source of plat. The issue is, a lot of players prefer opening loads of them in one setting, like survivals. Because of this, steel path is preferred. Aya relics specifically, those people just tend to run low level captures to get the rare piece
I played every quest as they released and by the time the next quest came out I had holes in my memory. Watching you and your attention to detail has actually significantly helped me appreciate this games story. Thanks for that :)
I personally started playing Warframe when it was it's 1 year anniversary, which was a great time for getting started the Dex weapons had just been released, playing as volt, it felt great. I was only a kid back then so I didn't have a lot of money so I tried all the free to play games, as I had just spent all my money on a pre-owned PS4. But Warframe is the only one that has really stuck. As time went on the game got better and better, back in those days the story wasn't as large. The void wasn't a place on the star chart. You would have to get void keys which were 1 use only, it's was so fun.
I had SOOOO much fun with my best friend farming the nikana prime one key at the time... we got so good at it that we would spent less the a minute on each level. WF is just one a whole other level when it comes to mmo
Bro same here. Played WF back on PS4 cause I initially played on a laptop, it could barely run. So when I heard it was coming to PS4 back then(which was a year after it's release in 2013)I was hyped and it became one of my long lasting games I've played. Basically stuck with me since 8th grade to my college days
I'm glad you're still enjoying the game and hope you stick around for a while. at the least, this is a great game to come back to every 6 months or so just to see what's changed and spend a week or two catching up with. Just before watching this, i was watching the jade shadows launch stream and Rebb mentioned that only 45% of players who were playing the game yesterday had completed the New War and were ready for Jade Shadows. While some are definitely newer players, I'd be willing to bet that most of the 55% have played more hours and for a longer period than you have. I mention this because I think in your final review, you should mention that you've been blessed with a great community that has helped you a long by speeding up a lot of aspects that will take most players a lot more time. You've been gifted frames and weapons that you don't have to farm parts and material for, or wait to be built; you've had people volunteering to help with relic cracking to greatly speed up those farms; and you've had plenty of motivation to stream the game regularly. Many players will probably approach the game more as something they play a couple hours per day over the course of several months, while taking occasional breaks to play other releases and whatnot. Players who try to keep up with the pace you've managed will either spend a fair bit of money, or feel burn out after a couple weeks, and as great as warframe is, no one in the community wants to see that happen. Again, great series, been enjoying your reactions and commentary, and look forward to the review. ps "venmo" was a great line.
Warframe is the only reason i even have a twitch account. To watch the warframe streams from Digital Extremes. Just watching the developers discuss about the upcoming update gets my blood boiling with excitement
The fascinating thing watching these videos drop is that I get to play along with him. I might have had a head start since I left the game halfway through, but it's been an interesting experience having to feel a veteran-esque pov where 'oh yeah I've been there' to moments of 'oh shit yeah grinding necramech sounds tough, i'm in' to 'new war sounds so dope, i'm ready to buckle up' and the fact that I'm doing it with along with you is that I get to play it like a friend would. Very fun experience. Let's welcome ourselves to the endgame, and let's dance through all the funs and horrors that awaits us here.
Personally though, I had the best experience of Duviri x New War i'd think, especially when comparing it to concerns in many reddit posts. On my end, I played Duviri only after The Sacrifice because I spearheaded my plays onto getting Excalibur Umbra (learned from many sources that this is the quest to look out for) and ignored most quests, only to take a 6 month hiatus to the game after I got him. Flash forward to 2 months ago when I first started my journey again, I immediately hopped onto Duviri and had fun with him, before going on a very arduous journey building the Necramech during our finals, which then eventually allowing me to play New War. The Drifter connection was immediately made, and I already loved my character with him barely doing anything. I remember screaming to myself "HE'S IN THE ORIGIN SYSTEM?!?!" to myself repeatedly, and got even more and more hyped seeing him take on the mantle of the Operator for him. This influenced my decision greatly and led me on a thought process that the Drifter should finish what the Operator could not, and allowed him the reins to my warframe and orbiter. I lacked the nostalgia to have Operator push on through, and I had the knowledge to have my Drifter play a bigger role. Not to mention my subconscious designs of them having heterochromia in exact opposite colors of each other. It all just clicked. It was a sublime experience for me, and I forever will care about the two's brotherlyesque dynamic and I think it's an experience not many would share.
It's so refreshing to see a UA-camr that actually enjoys the game do content on it. I was so done with the UA-camrs that hated the game but kept making videos on it. It's a relief to see someone having a positive experience like I did playing it.
To add to the New War experience - it really does put an amazing contrast to how ridiculously powerful we are which is only apparent when the enemies you would completely steamroll are a major threat even as Teshin, who is the most powerful of the characters you play as during New War. It only serves to show how unbelievably terrifying the Warframes really are.
This was my biggest takeaway from the whole experience. Playing as someone who I would just sprint through, fighting other enemies I barely even notice and having it be a serious fight, that just completely re contextualises the warframes as nightmare genocide machines.
Warframe is a helluva game. Not only is it my most played vid game of all time, but it's also the one I've spent the most real money on. Most of that hard cash I've spent on the game was for cosmetic fluff that I could care less about - because it gave me an opportunity to support the devs. I recommend this incredible game to all new players.
It’s been a lot of fun watching you go through the quests. It’s been so long since I’ve done some of them, it reminds me of a bunch of details I had long forgotten. Enjoy Whispers in the Walls, which is super great!
I know I'm late to the party here, but I love watching your reactions to everything in the New War (and I laughed at your deliberate mangling of Veso's name, too). It's so great watching baby tenno falling more and more in love with this game.
Don’t worry about not picking up on something sooner. As someone who has been playing for 8 years, has 8000hrs across 2 systems, LR4 and has done pretty much everything the game has to offer, I have very surface level knowledge of the storyline and lore. It’s so awesome to see someone like you playing through the game and experiencing what we all did when we realised just how much time you can sink into it, whilst also being extremely invested in the storyline.
Another reason the vibes are good in this community: So many of the story quests in this game are so incredibly creative, unique, ambitious and brave. Yet none of them were asked for, in fact even the biggest fans of this game aren't capable of conceptualising them, never mind pulling them off. Frank Herbert would be proud. DE has subverted our expectations and pleasantly surprised us so many times by this point , that we have become the people asking Carl Benz to invent faster horses while he was in fact developing the car. We have given up moaning because we trust, sure sometimes we get basketball in space , or an over-tuned grind, but we trust DE will try something interesting and we will not punish them for that in this sea of AAA banality.
The part I admire most of Vorframe 🤭is the artistic direction on their quests. DUDE. The Second Dream is PEAK. The way it manages to make you feel physical things you'd not believe possible is some unreal art. And Rell's quest. Aside from the delightful ASMR ambience they created for that one, the whole way they tell that story. It's entirely unique, no other game can even attempt to try that. ... And then there's the story side of Albrecht Entrati's expansion. Can I just erase that one from my mind, please? My finger still regrets holding the [ E ] key.
This video is genuinely making me emotional. I started playing in january and your experiences mirror my own almost one to one. The furtuna reveal is the new war is probably one of my favorite game moments ever.
Love how you intentionally got Veso's name wrong every time 😆 that was a nice touch. I completely agree, one of the best things about DE is that they listen and care. been enjoying your journey and reaction to this game I love so much ♥
the return to fortuna was such a punch in the guts I almost really cry ! and the orphans ? F*cking hell do you go down Ballas... You're going down hard !
I've been playing since 2015 and the game is great. It's had its ups and downs and some changes I don't agree with but as a new player there is an ocean of content to go through.
This video series has officially convinced me to get back into this game. I can see now that I've barely scratched the surface, and this game deserves the time sink.
I'm so glad you enjoyed this experience. I picked it up on a whim a while back and can safely say that like you. it blew my mind. it easily rates in one of my top games and also top sci-fi stories of all time. its almost a crime that it flies so far under the radar of alot of people.
I've seen all your Warframe videos thus far and PLEAS keep it up, i enjoy this so much! I played Warframe for 1860 hours and whenever DE drops the next content i keep diving into the story and the game itself! I love seeing "new" player experience Warframe
This game is amazing. Is that some people get overwhelmed on how much Contant there is they just gotta give it a chance. Thanks for the video. Great job.👍❤
2:41 honestly for me, what dragged me into Warframe so heavily (1000+ hours) is because as a kid, my favorite game growing up was skylanders. If you think about it, this is just a reskin of that but more mature and futuristic. And WAYYY better movement. I love that.
I’ve been playing for 8 years, there’s just nothing like it. It’s hard to explain but no other game has kept my attention for this long and that I’ve never gotten tired of. It’s pretty much everything I’d put in a dream game. Fast movement, a ridiculous amount of build variety, a non toxic community (there’s the elitist every now and then but 90% of the time it’s chill) insane amounts of character creation and, monetization that’s entirely optional. I’ve made so long term friendships from this game it’s insane. We All Lift Together really embodies the entire spirit of this game and community.
I've loved this explanation. And you're genuine enjoyment. I also find it funny how much of the lore you've missed or got wrong. Which is super easy to do but it doesn't stop you or so many of us from enjoying the game either. There's always more to learn about the lore
Video is so damn good I watched it a second and third time without wanting to skip around or stopping it mid-video. Easily one of my top favorite games.
I’m looking forward to you becoming a major voice in the warframe community. I see so many content creators that barely passed high school grammar/english/comp -whatever you wanna call it- Your scripts are well written, thoughtful, and thankfully grounded. I don’t think I’ve seen any “THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING” clicky baity titles from you yet. Thank you for that.
if you really want your mind blown by the return to fortuna, check out the mashup of We All Lift Together and For Narmer - they fit together like a jigsaw puzzle, weave in and out of each other. it's insane.
You glossed over Ember gyatt but surprisingly that is one of the best examples of Digital Extremes being absolutely awesome, the previous Heirloom collections were a low point on community opinion because of their price, lack of accessibility and similarities to what we see with scummy micro-transactions in other games, but with Ember's Heirloom, not only are those concerns directly addressed with changes to what is in the collection and it's prices, but now it can also even be bought with platinum allowing even F2P players to get the Heirloom collection, and it's also always going to be available which they really did not have to do yet they did!! Digital Extremes have their fuck ups and Warframe has it's jank, but it cannot be denied they really really try to do right by their game and community.
Also btw when you reach the latest quest i feel like youll go OMG because i was its like they do things others are scared to do but they still make it so good (btw iam talking about jade quest)
It makes me genuinely happy to see others enjoying this game the way that I did when I fist did when I was a kid. The way that you describe this game perfectly sums up every aspect that makes it one of the best games I’ve ever played.
@@jebshere
Fun little fact about the Drifter part with the narmer veil, it doesn't work in corrupting the Drifter because the mask is tuned to the Operator who is originally part of this universe. Drifter never met lotus, so the attempted gaslighting does nothing more than give them a headache

Would they be defects? Their original alteration to their design was to protect the empire.
@@ironwolfsaber2739 yeah, their only roles were to listen to orokin and fight. They obey the queens because they are OG orokin and had been using continuity to keep going this whole time
That's the issue. They are defective. Genetically. By design.
How this dude took an 90 minutes to kill the jackal as Tevo and then went one and done on every single Teshin door puzzle is still a mystery to me
I didn't know I could feel despair while watching someone playing a videogame but that fight as Tiko was one of the most excruciating things I've seen
This is why I could never stream. I don't think I struggled as much with the Bibo fight but I'm pretty sure I don't want a live record of every dumb thing I've done playing games. For instance, I don't want to talk about how long it took me to open all the doors as Teshin...
I watched many streamers on new war. And taking jackal far to long is suprisingly normal for them.
I struggled with Vico too
Damn we really are the same fr
In the beginning Steve refused to join the stream. One day they finally got him on. He was nervous and seemed to feel a bit out of place. Then He saw the fan art. I swear that man looked like he was about to cry. I think that moment he fell in love with the fans. That is what makes warframe special. Rebeca and Steve just having a moment when they revealed the first open area can’t remember the name. The crowed screamed yelled cheered and cried. You saw the apprehension melt. And again I think they both fell in love with the fans.

This is exactly why I don't farm platinum - I just buy it whenever I need it. Because they clearly deserve some money.
DE not tricking it's players, nor begging nor blackmailing but none the less making a game with attention of detail is why I have been playing it since 2018 and that every so often I toss some money their way.
Not because I have to but because they frigging deserve it.
At some 4000 hours played, every dollar I spend on Warframe is money well earned by DE's incredible team

"This game is a fever dream."
I cackled when you got Vero's name wrong at 9:05.
Chains of harrow was the first, first Halloween update too
Lmao the Fortuna reaction was pretty spot on. Pretty sure I cried a little
I know for a fact that I got teary eyed 🥲 Still my favorite Warframe song
2:10 "Warframe is one of the most assuming games"

12:33 they absolutely did have to go this hard, we had been waiting for new war for years so they knew they had to make it perfect, and they did
Anyone ever fill you in about the Design Council?
(dark sector was born from one such pitch, hence why there's so many warframe parallels in there)
DE is the only company I know of in the industry willing to risk making something NOONE cares about (rip Lunaro) because 'hey this sounds like it could be fun/interesting' and literally nothing else.

@Koranthus I never even used 4. As soon as I was able to I swapped it for Roar.

Bro, the Vox Solaris Narmer song hits the same beats and tones as the We all Lift Together song, thats crazy symbolism.

Hello not-so-new tenno

To add to the New War experience - it really does put an amazing contrast to how ridiculously powerful we are which is only apparent when the enemies you would completely steamroll are a major threat even as Teshin, who is the most powerful of the characters you play as during New War. It only serves to show how unbelievably terrifying the Warframes really are.
This was my biggest takeaway from the whole experience. Playing as someone who I would just sprint through, fighting other enemies I barely even notice and having it be a serious fight, that just completely re contextualises the warframes as nightmare genocide machines.
Warframe may be a F2P game, but lets be real here, who here hasn't bought enough platinum to cover the cost of buying a regular AAA game?

Most of that hard cash I've spent on the game was for cosmetic fluff that I could care less about - because it gave me an opportunity to support the devs. I recommend this incredible game to all new players.
It’s been a lot of fun watching you go through the quests. It’s been so long since I’ve done some of them, it reminds me of a bunch of details I had long forgotten. Enjoy Whispers in the Walls, which is super great!
You made me come back to the game 9 years after stopping with these warframe reviews and im loving it.
Another reason the vibes are good in this community:
So many of the story quests in this game are so incredibly creative, unique, ambitious and brave.
I'm glad Peko is recognized. We need him back in-game with Kahl!
Lol, i was just watching this series yesterday!
Know it might be a lil late, but welcome to warframe!
"Have you seen Embers new cosmetic? Gahd DAYOM"
Yup This guy gets it~!
The... corpus name misremembering... and that you leaned into it made it even more freaking funny xD
I love seeing "new" player experience Warframe
as a long-term warframe Player, I love how u become a warframe lover too and influence other people to try this game
Big thanks
This game is amazing. Is that some people get overwhelmed on how much Contant there is they just gotta give it a chance. Thanks for the video. Great job.👍❤
15:30 That reaction is so funny. I love it
2:41 honestly for me, what dragged me into Warframe so heavily (1000+ hours) is because as a kid, my favorite game growing up was skylanders. If you think about it, this is just a reskin of that but more mature and futuristic. And WAYYY better movement. I love that.
also, the game director is the former and original community manager and Reb is a the space mom. She's a treasure to the industry.
I love the consisent and contsant switch between confusion and astonishment in every video thus far.
Honestly, if anything happens to kahl, im going to be pissed
I see so many content creators that barely passed high school grammar/english/comp -whatever you wanna call it-
Your scripts are well written, thoughtful, and thankfully grounded.
I'm so happy to have stumbled upon your journey. Welcome, Tenno!
I think the fact that warframe lets its community make skin and they get paid for it when people buy they is really cool and under appreciated
"Warframe is the internets best kept secret" is the trueist thing I've ever heard
I just hope that some of your earlier videos on this game push new people to make it through those first 100 hours haha
