What started its life as a modest Mitsubishi sedan, the ‘Karma Evo’ is the brainchild of Anthony at AG Autosports in Florida. With a custom-built 2.2L turbocharged inline four, it laid down 1150 horsepower through stock axles and a factory transfer case! Say hello to Anthony and his 8-second green monster.

The ‘Karma Evo’ (as it's known around race tracks) is the brainchild of Anthony at AG Autosports in Florida. With a custom-built 2.2L turbocharged inline four, it laid down 1150 horsepower through stock axles and a factory transfer case! Say hello to today's Haltech Hero: Anthony and his 8-second green monster.
Waiting for Marty's 2evo and 2sexy for new haltech upgrade... I love when mitsubishi use haltech...
I wish i can use that too on my lancer 1990 4g13 8valves carb project car... RestoMOD....
I feel there should be rock ballads with his beard as the main theme.
F**king epic!
Also the guy who was talking bout the engine at the 4min mark sounded like he wanted to "YeeeeeHaaaaaaa!!!!!!" so hard at the end.
With this car there ain't gon be no "Sorry boss, I'm late for work" :P
That is amazing, if I do go that route of getting an evo you guys are the ones that are going to build it 💯👍👍👍
I ordered a Xona 10569 for my new 2.2L and I about spit my drink when he said the car was on that turbo. I'm doing a FF with A/C street build.
Nice car! I like how you got Al Butler from Skidfactory to do his Canadian accent impersonation for the ending voiceover!
Absolute monster!
the power of evo reflected in her hair that grew backwards
Awesome project, you need to get the dampers and springs dialed in, it's all over the place down the strip, cheap improvement in time for little investment. Good luck with the project !
heart breaker
Now HPT 7675 ?
What turbocharger are they running? Couldn't tell what he was saying.
Xona Rotor 10569 or 7269 in PTE terms.
Its here for a good time, but not for a long time, stock driveshafts aren't going to launch hard all that many times before retiring for the season.
I get Covid19's need to run some B-stock video... but i do find the amount of content here a little lacking vs the normal on the channel, offering neither a racing story, human story, nor much depth to the technical details... and while the format should be too short to include all three, normally we get one of them.
Sorry, the whole covid thing really does make regular video production difficult. This particular video was shot by a third party and practically put together from a whole lot of b-roll clips. We figured it was worth doing though:)
@@haltech Fair enough and yeah its still certainly worth doing. Looking forwards to when COVID's beaten and things return to normal.
@@SheepInACart The driveshaft on these things hardly ever brake. The tcase or rear diff usually go first, followed by the torque tube or 3/4th gear. The axles and driveshaft literally rarely break its kinda crazy actually.
Koval’s is probably faster 😁
He is not. Well not right now anyway;)
@@haltech haha I was messing around I know he hasn’t done a 1/4 mile officially in years, but he has been taking down a lot of huge low 8second cars at roll racing lately
still not faster :)
