My Italian mother used to make this. Everything she made tasted delicious.
This is the first time I've ever gotten close to making something she made taste this good.
    Thank you!
I wish I had listened to her more often when she was cooking.
Having the recipes just isn't enough but you made it look so easy.
Even my husband said it tasted like my mothers lol
    Thank you again for sharing!

Chef John, We just tried this... outstanding! The family liked. Used all the ingredients just as you laid them out and it came out perfect. We're introducing this into the rotation. BTW... this is a QUICK recipe, so have your mouth ready!

I made this last night. I pork chorizo in the freezer and figured that would be awesome. Bought a red bell pepper, poblano pepper, jalapeño peppers, potatoes and chicken thighs and put it together chef Jon way. It was awesome with chorizo! Wife wants it again tonight for dinner.

I've never understood why all the food channels start with a sausage in the casing and then take it out of the casing. Do stores not sell bulk sausage meat where they live, or is that just a Midwestern thing? I can buy a pack of sausage meat the same way you can buy a pack of ground beef.
