Question, How many Grandmas does it take to teach thousands of people traditional Italian cooking? 1, her name is Grandma Gina. Thumbs up for another great lesson and a nice bonus song. You brighten up our days.
Seriously, how pathetic can 91 people's lives be to go out of their way and give this beautiful lady a thumbs down? Thumbs down for what may I ask, please you cowards let me know? Actually very sad because you know how miserable they must be! The 5,900 thumbs up are greatly deserved and the 91 thumbs down are not, not even 1 of them. God bless Grandma Gina she is beautiful, talented, and admired by many!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She IS beautiful! I love watching her cook! If those 91 idiots would actually listen to her stories about how she grew up with no oven, just a fireplace and how she and her family grew their own food, (which she still does AND makes her own sauce) maybe they would appreciate her more. 91 have had everything handed to them their entire lives and don’t appreciate anything.
When I'm not in a great mood, i watch Buon-a- Pettiti and my Gina instantly makes me happy. I wish we were neighbors so I could enjoy your company. You are truly a blessing to everyone.
Made this once for a large crowd of my wife's Italian family and they went crazy for it! Watched the video again tonight and my mouth is literally watering. It's so good. She is amazing and the dish is so good. Try it, I promise you you will love it.
How wonderful that so many of us have chosen to abandon the anger and despair of news vendors, and have gathered around this absolutely captivating lady, who holds us spellbound with her pure magic!
I just wanted to let you know that you have no idea what this video did for my soul today. I was SO fortunate to have my Italian Grandmother live with us when I grew up until she passed about the time I graduated High School. She taught me from a very young age how to cook all of the best Italian dishes and watching this beautiful, lovely woman, Gina, in this video brought back so many memories of time spent in the kitchen with my Grandmother. They are SO much alike in SO many ways. I already know how to make Sausage & Peppers, but I was compelled to watch this video anyway. Sometimes you learn something new, and I am all about that because I don't know everything and can always learn something if you keep an open mind. I am so glad I did, hug her for me! You are creating a priceless treasure here with these videos. Thank you, you have a faithful subscriber. I can't wait to watch more!!
Dear Gina, my husband and I made the sausage and peppers just the way you said how too. And he's said to tell you thank you it was delicious! and he's so glad I found you on UA-cam. Jesus our LORD bless you and your family amen. we love you , thank you for sharing your wonderful recipes with us.
What a great gift this series is! Not only to us, who get to meet your grandmother for the first time, but for your family, who will be able to look back on these videos to see not only the recipes, but the joyous woman behind them. God bless you for this!
I love when Gina sings🇮🇹❤️ Gina should tell more stories about about her past in Italy, perhaps a Q & A . I’m sure everyone would love to hear her story 💕
She is a Treasure.. God love you sweet Gina and your family for capturing these precious Italian cooking lessons. She is a tribute to all of our dear mothers, aunts, and grandmothers for carrying on their tradition of love and sharing.
Greetings from Knoxville TN....Nona!! I made this recipe last night for my Italian food loving husband (who comes from New Jersey!) and he RAVED about how delicious and authentic it was! Just like he used to get up North from an Italian lady friend!(So much that he wants leftovers tonight on a nice roll!!) THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! You made this Irish girl a bigger hit with my hubby than before! He said he didn't think he could love me more than he already did, but after this meal, he loves me to the moon and back!! Lol!
OK so this morning I told my wife as she was leaving for work that I would make dinner. Being retired, I like to put on the occasional chef hat and prepare dinner for her. I said "I'll make sausage and peppers. She was excited at the suggestion. So, that was my first brownie point for the day. Problem is I had absolutely no idea where to begin in making a good sausage and pepper dinner. I came across this video and looked no further. You were very thorough in your step by step recipe. Looks fantastic. I'm sure I'll score more points with the Mrs. at dinner. Thanks much. God bless you Gina.
WOW, I love the ending..... Yes, God bless America! Gina, you are such a wonderful woman and I love your singing. Thanks so much for taking the time to make your cooking videos. I share your videos with close friends who like to cook. Love, Kenny in Vegas.
So grateful I am.....to see you prepare these tasty and homey dishes. I was not allowed into my mothers kitchen.....and I did not have a living grandma.....so.....you now are my grandma. I have learned many cooking skills on my own.....but I so much enjoy your generous foodie preparations. Gratis!!
Thank you Mrs Gina for your show and thank you son-in-law to make this available to us all. Love watching you cook, it's 12h37 am here in Ottawa, Canada and I find it so relaxing watching you, enjoying your happy songs and stories from way back. Now I will have to try this one too. Started doing homemade pasta last year with your video. You have very good recipes, me and my husband enjoy them very much. May our Father, God and Creator bless you Mrs. Gina and all the members of your family.
I love watching Gina for many reasons. One of them is that she's the opposite of my hurry-hurry get-it-done, too serious German personality. She takes her time. She sings. She enjoys the process as much as the food. I can learn so much from her!
Gina, you make me start crying when you started singing......what a beautiful soul so are....I love your recipe very very much. May God Bless you always as you continue to bring sunshine into a not so bright world. KEEP ON SINGING GINA, WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!
doodie5009 I agree with you 100% just found Gina’s channel about a week ago watch her every night before bed. She is a living angel here on earth. Lots of love and prayers for continued health and success.
This wonderful woman reminds me so much of my own Grandmother. I was blessed to have her for 37 years of my life and there are so many terrific memories. God Bless, Gina! I'm sure your family feels very lucky to have you!
Mama's Gina accent is so cool, she is singing on English :) . Enjoying watching _real_ Italian food cooking. Wish her a long life, prosperity and health !
Ok. I am now seriously addicted. I spend part of every day watching. I think I’m a pretty good cook, but I’m learning so much and Gina makes my heart happy. 💕💕💕💕
Although I'm now an older man, I learned to cook from my Italian aunt until she was in her late 90's and she could no longer stand long enough to show me. Thank you for reminding me of the best times when food was love, and sharing the kitchen was paradise!
I grew up in an Italian section of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and one of my best friends growing up was a kid named Victor, but his mother called him Vito. To this day I have no idea what her real name was because we always called her "Nona" and she didn't speak a lick of English. For years, every time I went over to Victor's house, his mother, who for whatever reason, called me "Steele" would immediately rise up when she saw me walk in the door and she would go to her refrigerator and just empty so much of what was in there onto the table and she would begin to cook for me. I can also honestly say that she made the absolute best spaghetti and meatballs that I have ever had in my entire life, even better than my own mothers, who was full-blooded Italian herself and an excellent cook in her own right. I had no idea how to cook back then but as an adult I have taught myself all that I can on how to cook and of course, I watch videos like this to learn even more. I have tried to duplicate what Victor's mother did but just have not been able to do it. I have managed to come up with some really great batches of sauce and meatballs but not like hers. I was back home there a few years ago and managed to track Victor down and found that not only was his mother still alive, but he still lived at home with her, and Victor, at the time, was somewhere around 50 years old. I asked him to ask his mom if she could share her recipe with me, and he did ask her, but she indicated to him that she cannot remember how she did it and hadn't made it in years. Victor did tell me that she is suffering from Dementia and so I did believe her that she could not remember, but I was sad because after so many years of trying I thought I would finally learn her secret, but it appears that it will go to her grave with her. I am saying all of this to say that this woman reminds me so much of "Nona" and I am looking forward to trying some of her recipes, as I have only discovered her and her channel just today.
@@michaelremillard4215 Man I would love that. I would love before I die to figure out what that woman did. But I would have to say that even the pursuit is half the fun in and of itself.
When is a cooking video more than a cooking video? When the bad news and frustrations of the world seem too much, I come watch Grandma Gina. Thanks and God bless you Gina and family. I never had a family like yours. It’s a balm just listening to you and watching the joy you have in cooking. From another friend in 🇨🇦🙂👍🏻
O My Bella Gina!!!! The wonderful sausage, potatoes and peppers are to absolutely to die for! Together with your canned tomatoes makes everything perfect! Humble and kind, that's what you are. How all the peppers look like beautiful flowers in all their vibrant colors together. It is true, seems all the men love this dish; my father and brother, both Antonio, could have this every day. My mother would pack their lunches with this, they didn't care if it was cold! Tasty crusty bread made a great sub sandwich. Indeed a show-stopper at any party. Party goers say, "Who made the sausage and peppers"? I'd say, "Who else makes a beautiful meal like this? It's Gina!!!" Thank you, my friend, there is a special place in my heart for you right alongside Filomena, Almarinda and Angelina. God bless you now and always. Love, Maria
I cannot believe myself spending hours on my bed watching this lovely lady's cooking videos. I am fastinated by her simple way of cooking... a down to earth method of cooking of real home food. love it very much.
God bless her. When she was singing, it made me cry. I never had the blessing of knowing a grandmother's love when growing up. Then she started waving those big knives around in the air as she spoke in Italian, and I had to laugh out loud. Precious!😘
love when she sings . my name is Gina Marie and I am NOT italian but everyone thinks I am . I cherish every video so much. You are so blessed to have such a beautiful women in your life and record these amazing moments. she will forever be in my heart.I wish I was italian lol . I was named after a women that was my mothers , (may she rest in peace) best friend. Thank you for sharing her with us.
Gina, I’m originally from Thailand, my husband is from Spain...we love to watch your videos and listen to you. You cook very good and your singing is beautiful (my husband says he understands a lot of it- I don’t understand but still love it). I hope you realize you touch everyone from around the world. You mentioned working hard when you were younger and now do this...having a purpose in life is important for a happy long life. I hope you know you make everyone happy who watches and learns from you. Thank you
She reminds me of my beautiful mother. She used to cook a lot of Italian meals, and she also would sing. Gina you make my day, everyday. Love you, keep up the good cooking.
MY HUSBAND IS 100 % ITALIAN AND I JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU BECAUSE OF YOU I HAVE LEARN SO MANY GREAT NEW DISHES AND HE ALWAYS SAYS I FEEL LIKE IM BACK HOME , MY DREAM IS TO VISIT ITALY ON DAY AND I HAVE BEEN SAVING TO SUPPRISE HIM FOR HIS BIRTHDAY TO TAKE HIM BACK HOME ,AMORE' TO ALL YOUR DISHES I HAVE TO SAY , GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
Thank you so very much, Gina. Your video did it’s magic! Transported me back to when I was a little girl watching my grandmother cook! Thank you for your kindness. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I love you grandma Gina. The only memories I have of the only grandma I met is of her being sick and her passing. I can only imagine but, if I had more time with her I imagined that she would've been like you but, in her own authentic Jamaican way. I watch you because you make me feel warm inside the way only a grandma can.
Today was a chilly rainy day in Ronkonkoma on Long Island. So, I took the opportunity to make this recipe exactly as Grandma Gina showed us. It is incredible! The smell emitting from my kitchen is heaven. The peppers are sweet, the sausage done to perfection and the potatoes are perfect. Thank you, Grandma Gina and thank you to her family who thought to make videos for us and share this lovely woman and her cooking. (Bonus: I have a rescue dog (Inky) who is afraid of her own shadow. She actually came out of her bed into the kitchen….I was singing along with Grandma and she started to tail wag, so I guess she is part Italian….or she loves sausage). At any rate, I send you Blessings and I hope you are well.
Gina you remind me of my Grandma. She lived with us while I was growing up and she raised me. She would tell me all the stories from Sicily and I remember them all and some songs too! Now the elders in my family are all gone and my cousin's are always asking me about our heritage. They never listened when my Grandma was alive, but now she is gone and they are interested. I hope your grandchildren listen to all the songs and stories you tell them about your family heritage. It is priceless information! Love you Grandma Gina!
Yes. I' m 85 with 5 kids and I used to sing a catch italian song when they were small and now at middle age they remember most of the songs and and opera I used to blast on Sunday morning in Brooklyn while my wife made the "Gravy" (that's tomato sauce if your are not from NYC..
NOW... THIS is REAL ITALIAN cooking. You won’t find this at the Olive Garden! THis is exactly how my mother cooked, and I am doing the same! Healthy eating!!!👍❤️❤️😀
LOL... I did that the first time I stumbled to her channel. I'll tell my daughter, sorry cant talk to you, I'm watching nonna Gina. A few days later, she told me she was watching her videos too...lol
How could anyone ever give this video a thumbs down? This is thumbs up all the way, for the delicious recipes, and for the love Gina puts into her dishes.
She reminds me so much of my mother who has been gone for over 50 years. I hope Senora Gina knows how much joy and love she has brought into many lives of Italian ancestry!
My husband and I watched this morning! Nonna Gina! My husband is Italian. I learned how to cook sauce from his father in his kitchen long ago. I remember he shut all the doors and no one was allowed in until we finished! This reminds me of that same day! Thank you Nonna Gina! We have subscribed and will look forward to more videos! God bless from Alexandria Virginia. 🙏🏻😘❤️
These videos of Gina are really a family treasure. You are preserving Gina's receipes forever and your family and future generations can learn these traditions. Gina needs to put all of these receipes in a book & sell it here. Its easier to do than you think. My nephew/age 25 wrote two paperback books and they sell on Amazon. The receipe book can be sold here. It would be a great gift for someone!
I absolutely love you Gina ! You are my favorite ! I love your singing. You are such a beautiful person ! God Bless You ! From The Pasquariello Family !
i love how italian nonnas cook with such love and make it look so effortless. I LOVE watching Nonna Gina! My husband's family is Italian. We have been married for 52 years and i learned so much from his mother and aunts! Nonna Gina cooks EXACTLY like I remember they always did. I'm still learning. I've made her ministrone and cabbage soup recipes and everyone LOVED those soups! I'm planning on watching and trying more of her wonderful authentic recipes. I've gotten away from cooking so much but Gina has inspired me to get back in the kitchen and start cooking more of these wonderful recipes. I also LOVE listening to her sing too! What a treat!
you can literally smell what she's preparing.......her recipes are simple and awesome ,after listening to her singing i had to learn italian.bless her....
I made this recipe yesterday and it was fulfilling and delish. My husband loved it. His mother was from Sicily. I husband loves sauce. I didn’t use fresh tomatoes but canned and it still turned out good. I used fresh garlic because I love fresh garlic. I’m so happy to try new dishes and happy that I found your cooking channel. God bless America 🇺🇸, and god bless you and your family. ❤️
I was waiting for her to sing... A Campangnola One of my favorites! I am making this tomorrow for a party! Gina is a gift to the world. I miss my Nonna. Thank you for sharing her with us. ❤
When in high school one of my good friends was Italian and remains a dear friend. His mother was so generous whenever I visited their home. I never left hungry. She is still alive and sounds so much like you and shares that passion for cooking. Thank you so much for sharing your culture and passion, it really brought tears to my eyes.
Grandma Gina is amazing!! This dish is delizioso, we love it!! and she sang a lovely song again while cooking. I thought it was so sweet that she talked of her father. May he rest in peace, Amen. I love this wonderful Nonna.
My grandmother made a dish like this with Italian sweet and hot sausage with peppers and onions and potatoes all mixed with olive oil Italian seasonings and garlic all cooked together in oven for about 2 hours. It was awesome
Thank you Gina, you remind me of my beautiful Italian Grandma and all her delicious meals. I especially love watching you make your spaghetti and lasagna noodles in the machine. My Gram Edith and my Pop would work in the kitchen together on the “homemades” as they would call them.I wish I could help you in your kitchen like I helped my grandparents. Watching you is such a great JOY and sometimes I cry when you sing. You are PERFECT and I know that your food is the best in the world and I see that it is made with great care and much love.
Grandma Gina, I cooked with you tonight!! I made this dish tonight with you and followed it just like you do. I also danced while you sang! It made me very happy!! Thank you for your amazing recipes. It is in the oven 20 mins to go and I know it will come out perfect! God Bless you! Love you Grandma Gina!!
Hi Grandma Gina , lm Mexican American, born in the USA , Southern California , I loved our Mexican dishes my mom amd Grammas made growing up , but l also love Italian cooking , thank you Gramma Gina , for sharing your recipe's, they are delicious, and l love when you sing while you are cooking , it adds much joy to cooking , thank you again and Love you Gramma Gina , God Bless.
I think she is wonderful! Her personality, faith and cooking skills have seemed into my heart. My background is similar, having come from Italy in 1956. So, the memories and nostalgia bring me back to my roots. I just live Nonna Gina!
Thanks Gina!! Another work of art. This goes on my must make list! I've made a number of your dishes and all are so fantastic. With you, I just can't seem go wrong!😊
i rekindled my marriage simply by watching grandma in the kitchen and then cooking dinner (more than once ) for my wife and daughters...graci grandma ..you deserve the prefix "grand"
Gina thank you.. my mother’s family’s from Italy and I missed getting most of these recipes.. it’s made me connect with my roots. My heart is so happy when I cook these recipes. I can’t thank you enough. God Bless you Gina and family.
i was wondering if anyone else noticed that=my kitchen would have been a huge mess plus every utensil would have been used=trying to learn from gina=gabbigail. grew up with two italian grandmas, they each made different types of things=so was treated to the very best. one was more of a baker, while the other made homemade spaghetti sauce with tom. from our huge garden, made homemade wine along with my grandpa, of course grandpa was in charge. they were both from naples, and the other set was from near rome. gabbigail
All my great aunts were spotless when cooking even sauce. I never forgot one of them had white burber carpet in the kitchen and it was spotless!!! Mine would be ruined in an hour!!!

Love, Maria
I absolutely love Gina. I have learned so much from her. She is a great teacher and a sweetheart of a person. Can’t wait to make her dishes.
I cannot believe myself spending hours on my bed watching this lovely lady's cooking videos. I am fastinated by her simple way of cooking... a down to earth method of cooking of real home food. love it very much.
She is so sweet I just love her recipes. I love it especially when she starts to sing. God bless this lovely lady 🙏❤️
No no ijohn
God bless her. When she was singing, it made me cry. I never had the blessing of knowing a grandmother's love when growing up. Then she started waving those big knives around in the air as she spoke in Italian, and I had to laugh out loud. Precious!😘

Good morning Mia Gina.....I was feeling sad today, so I decided to go to your kitchen. I knew your cooking would cheer me up!
We are neighbors!
I know TO Ronkonkoma well !
My family is in Holbrook.Right next door to you on Ronkonkoma !
Healthy eating!!!👍❤️❤️😀
the singing is the best. Oh how I wished I had a grandmother growing up.
I love Grandma Gina!I have been watching her for 4 hrs.
It's such a pleasure to watch these videos. Gina is fabulous.
She reminds me so much of my mother who has been gone for over 50 years. I hope Senora Gina knows how much joy and love she has brought into many lives of Italian ancestry!
I am in love. Not only does the recipe look delicious, but Mamma Gina warms my heart with her passion and her singing. Thank you!
Italian grandma's are the best and they all talk the same great cooks
These videos of Gina are really a family treasure. You are preserving Gina's receipes forever and your family and future generations can learn these traditions. Gina needs to put all of these receipes in a book & sell it here. Its easier to do than you think. My nephew/age 25 wrote two paperback books and they sell on Amazon. The receipe book can be sold here. It would be a great gift for someone!
I love when she speaks Italian! I've been speaking this beautiful language since I learned as a child! Grazie Ginuzza!!!
My little girl and I love grandma Gina! It makes us so happy to watch her cook delicious meals and we get even happier to hear her singing! 💕
I don't think I've ever seen so much care and love put into cooking. It's an absolute pleasure being able to watch Gina's magic. Thank you!
Gina cooks like my Mom. She uses as many pots and dishes as possible :-) Every time I watch I get hungry. Gracious Gina!
I was waiting for her to sing... A Campangnola

The Angels smile when Gina sings....Me Too..!!!!!
"See what Ima do, follow me." Love it.
When in high school one of my good friends was Italian and remains a dear friend. His mother was so generous whenever I visited their home. I never left hungry. She is still alive and sounds so much like you and shares that passion for cooking. Thank you so much for sharing your culture and passion, it really brought tears to my eyes.
I could imagine the stories she has during a conversation at the dinner table. Very interesting and talented cook.
God bless that Lady and yes, God bless America!
Joe from Germany
I love Nonna Gina she has so much passion for her family to make such yummy meals.
Gina can Cook and Sing. She is a Treasure.
Grandma Gina is amazing!! This dish is delizioso, we love it!! and she sang a lovely song again while cooking. I thought it was so sweet that she talked of her father. May he rest in peace, Amen. I love this wonderful Nonna.
I have to stop watching these videos at 12 midnight and 1 o clock makes me super hungry
I LOVE little nona Gina!! Hands down my primary UA-cam consultant on authentic Italian cuisine! Ti amo nona!!! 🥰♥️♥️♥️

With you, I just can't seem go wrong!😊
i rekindled my marriage simply by watching grandma in the kitchen and then cooking dinner (more than once ) for my wife and daughters...graci grandma ..you deserve the prefix "grand"
well, she left anyway but who doesn't like a guy that can cook (*^_^*)
Gina thank you.. my mother’s family’s from Italy and I missed getting most of these recipes.. it’s made me connect with my roots. My heart is so happy when I cook these recipes. I can’t thank you enough. God Bless you Gina and family.
Watching your video, while cooking in mine, while quarantined. May God bless you and your family, and keep you safe from harm.
Absolutely... she is a “Breath of Fresh Air”!
Her kitchen stays spotless even while she cooks. My kitchen looks like a bomb went off by the time the meal is ready to serve. :-D
Amen to that! My husband says that the more dishes in the sink afterwards is a sign of how good the food is gonna be.😂😂
i was wondering if anyone else noticed that=my kitchen would have been a huge mess plus every utensil would have been used=trying to learn from gina=gabbigail. grew up with two italian grandmas, they each made different types of things=so was treated to the very best. one was more of a baker, while the other made homemade spaghetti sauce with tom. from our huge garden, made homemade wine along with my grandpa, of course grandpa was in charge. they were both from naples, and the other set was from near rome. gabbigail
All my great aunts were spotless when cooking even sauce. I never forgot one of them had white burber carpet in the kitchen and it was spotless!!! Mine would be ruined in an hour!!!
