Ironically, that MSI at Tallahassee was the only LoL event I've been able to attend in 12 years. Was nice to get an event in the southeast. Maybe they could have picked a better date but I would absolutely attend an event again if it came to Tallahassee, Atlanta, or somewhere roughly nearby.
The TES game wasn't a free win even without the bug, because Lucian need at least 2-3 aa for the nexus and got ulted away without e or Galeforce up and before he could aa the Nexus Karthus would already kill him.
Nexus was two hits away. Two autos on Sett would reset his E, and his Q was up. So Q>A (passive auto is double) would give him a dash into Nexus range (with RFC), and that same dash would retrigger his passive thus ONE auto on the Nexus would be two hits, destroying it. So to summarize, Q>A>E>A wins the game. Karth wouldn't be in range to kill until after the E which wouldn't stop Nexus auto. Not to mention, if he doesn't play optimally but just right clicks Nexus and prays to the gods, Karth killing him still isn't guaranteed and even if Karth does, Karth killing him takes Karth focus off team mates, someone else potentially ends. I agree it's not 100%, but the chances are definitely high enough that the expectation should be if no bug TES wins.
So I'm in the camp that jackeylove did just get blown up even through the shield, vandril did bad testing and bad math didn't take into account items or runes or anything when doing so. So karthus had void staff, deathcap, shadowflame, ornn upgraded liandrys, and sorc boots. he had also bought a blue pot before respawning and it was ticking when he ulted. 665 ap is what karthus had. 9% extra damage from first strike, 1% extra damage from liandrys because lucain had 100 bonus hp from fully stacked bloodline rune. 25 extra true damage from the blue pot shadowflame was at max pen because he was low and if not for that right before the ult hit he was given nami e who had aery which gave him the mini aery shield. so thats 10% more damage and 20 more magic pen plus the extra 25 true damage on the ult going onto lucain. vandrill only compared the amount of damage nami took and lucian took and their similar mr and was like wow the shield didnt trigger no way but didnt take into account anything else. nami was near full hp so shadowflame wouldn't have affected her with the max pen. also no extra liandrys damage because of bonus hp. im in the camp maw did trigger and it legit just stopped him from getting one shot which would have happened without it. lets say sure give him the extra 400 hp. He had just dashed and sett ulted him away from the nexus jackey love at level 18 with those items and runes the cd on dash is 8 seconds it would not have been back up in time to redash back to the nexus and hit it, sett ult slows he got pulled back by set e and then reslowed by frostfire no way he would have made it back in time to hit the nexus. before karthus who was already exiting the steps and going towards him and nami to help sett kill him if he theoretically had 400 more hp then the 90 + nami heal gave him before being ulted away by set.
tbh it really doesn't matter, Sett just kills Lucian before he can get in range to auto Nexus. He had max stacks Dead Man's Plate auto, Frostfire immolate burn and the magic dmg first auto. The slows would not allow Lucian to get close to nexus fast enough. Sett hadn't use his W either. If he R -> Q double auto -> E -> continue autos he also easily kills Lucian. He probably just used E early since Lucian was low enough. Also, don't forget Sett has easy Conqueror stacks for more AD. If all else fails Karthus was right there and would kill him immediately and Nami won't be able to finish the Nexus even if she auto-ed more times anyways.
respect to laure for coming on, regardless of her reaction to the twitter drama about the rge vs jdg match - i think its 75-25, they are even in bot/mid, slightly behind in top, and reasonably behind in jg. definitely jdg favoured but nowhere near unwinnable.
What if the LCS went further into the NFL style, 2 matches at a time, 3 time slots and the match of the day is the only one on its own. It promotes the best teams, you could have a mini Redzone that highlights the best of the simultaneous games, the days won't feel like they drag on, if a game has a pause you could just watch the other game, plus you would never have to watch DIG vs Immortals
Just to give a more complete picture on how bad the bug situation is in League am just going to say this.Vandril the guy Thorin mentioned from tweeter is a UA-camr who only uploads videos on bugs and stupid interactions. These videos are not lengthened to be better for ad revenue btw,and Vandril (probably) has been making his living of these videos for 10(maybe 11) years. For someone to make a living from these short videos which pay way less than the 10+ min vids you would need a stupid amount of videos, well guess what,Riot is a company of the people and they have been providing Vandril and us with more bugs than we could ever ask for. Again, for almost 11 years Vandril which is 1 person has found so many bugs consistanly to have based a short form youtube channel that earns the guy his livelyhood and as he has said in the past,he doesnt have enough time to upload every single one that he finds. Now if that doesnt prove to Riot how disorganised their game code is idk what will show them. As far as am aware the game is almost completly fine, the code is whats making all these problems cause its not tidied up,its all over the place.
Vandiril does not find the bugs solely by himself. The community does majority of it. People are giving him too much credit these days. Yes, hes still pretty important as he publicize them in videos and its easier for Riot devs to access since the channel is well known. But hes spending way more time on editing and verifying issues sent to him by the community and re-enacting them in-game himself / with his friends. In a game like League of Legends, theres millions of different possible scenarios, its impossible to be even close to 100% bug free. Even if you hire 10000 QA testers, it doesn't matter. The community bringing light to bugs is a necessity.
@@OBODZ1 true yeah, but vandrils channel by its existanse alone proves how out of control the bug situation is.Vandril gets his credit because of his dedication.I might have phrased it wrong(my english suck sry). But what i meant is that all the bugs that he has publishised is by one person.Although league for sure will never be a bug free game with how much the community helps riot with these bugs they should at some point create some space in their schedule (over a long period of time not daily) were they have prepared all the content they want to put out so that they have a month or two to work on the bugs.It would be much easier after, now all the bugs are piled up,if they fix a good amount then they can just quickly sort out the bugs that ocurre with the new patches rather than still working on already existing bugs
The people giving backlash for this don't realise they're actually going to end up doing more damage and harm to people than the people they are trying to witch hunt. It's absolutely gross. Of course they care about social justice and mental health unless they don't like you in which case they hope to mob you into experiencing extreme mental trauma. Seems like a reasonable way to behave.
If you watch the replay, it looks like its a visual bug, Because... Sett did rank 3 ulti and W on lucian, and that didnt kill him from 200 hp? No. visual bug.
I know I’m in the minority but I really liked Monday Night League. It was cool as a fan to have 2 “marquis” matchups really focused on and the broadcast built around that
GAM was in a huge winning position but kinda messed up the cloud drake fight by being split. Don’t care for the bug, the other teams in the group relaxed after they are moving on to the next round. TES underperformed and are out. On the rogue side of things Larsen never leaves lane, this will be exploited by jdg and lanes are going to get dived into huge advantages.
Never forget the OMG vs FNC game where kog ulted k6 but didn't cancel the back. From that shit till now was very obvious that they're going to do absolute nothing.
I remember that, kha zhix had either (funnily enough) hexdrinker or maw of malmortius, Kogs ult is magic damage and if the damage doesnt go through the shield It doesnt stop the back. It's always been intended to work that way. There have been many egregious bugs for sure, im not defending Riot dont get me wrong, but that particular instance was a certified feature of the game, no bug involved there except for Kha himself lmao
If you check Vandiril channel you will keep up with all the bugs and he calls on some bugs many months before they happen in pro play. Riot doesn't care they have the money and resources to work and fix those issues.
Carlos: How did you get canceled Laure? Laure: I went onto a podcast... Carlos: No, seriously, c'mon, you can tell me! Like hahahahah SHE WENT ON A PODCAST! YOU PEOPLE ARE SOFT! GOD HELP YOU ALL! ICANT It's just SAD at this point, damn sad lol
I actually like it if regular season moves to weekdays and would wish the same for LEC. With a fulltime job the weekends are the only time in the week you actually have time to do something and then just staying home and watching 5 hours of broadcast often isnt possible or that exciting. Would rather watch games after work throughout the week. That said as an European watching LCS (live) will become impossible of course which sucks. I didnt watch everything but it becoming impossible to watch is a bit sad. Hoping then costreams for LCS stays around because then I can catch up through those as they often feel like a podcast and are great as second screen content.
Can you tell me where you can watch those costreams? I heard about that concept few months ago (I think during MSI) I tried googling around but found nothing of substance. Is it like lol personalities casting a game or giving a commentary on highlights?
Isn't it disrespectful to call Mata "a role player"? In Season 4, SSW played around his vision control. Riot directly had to nerf the warding afterwards. He played a completely different game back them. And let's just remember, that Looper was considered "Mata's 3rd summoner spell"... so who was the roleplayer on that team? Now Mata never got back to that peak level and was just "good" afterwards.
@@nguyentri3608 Gala/Ming are equal to any bot lane worldwide. Xiaohu needs no introduction. You've got the sleeper best Top laner in the world Breathe, who carried the fuck outta BilliBilli before leaving. Wei the role player who can pop the fuck off if given Viego or Graves. The only thing that can stop RNG is Covid. Objectivly T1 has no winning match-ups vs RNG. JDG lost in regular season and only won Play-offs because RNG lost before double elimination. anit
I am some random nobody, but when I play league a lot I notice sometimes that a champions usual feel is off. Just the other day I was playing Renekton and the healing was like 10-20% the usual amount; even by the numbers after the game. I am pretty sure the games bugs way more than people realise.
i mean look maybe tes played good because the pressure was off after being out and they could really dominate the last 2 games or maybe they would have played good regardless of what happened with gam we will never know ....but this is ridiculous for a game thats been around for around 10 years if im not mistaken ? or more idk ....to be fair tes should've never been in this situation to lose that many games but it still sucks, tes was one of my favorite teams in this tournament and i dont think we've seen why so many people had them as one of the favorites in this tournament and its safe to say that quarterfinals would've been much more exciting if tes made it out at least for me and some other ppl but then again i have to repeat THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN IN THIS SITUATION to have this game decide their fate, they were placed in a relatively easy group they should've made it out
51:39 so true. Did not watch a single LCS game this year. I feel like it's a waste of my watching bunch of no-names with no personalities. The only exception would be EG. I thought Jojo shit-talk was hilarious at worlds.
you guys are wrong about the games not mattering when RGE and DRX qualifies. Those games still mattered for seeding. If TES beat one of the two opponents and lost to the other, then seeding would have been decided without a tie breaker. Both RGE and DRX would have been trying to win against TES. Those games have to be treated as games that matter, and shouldn't need to be remade.
Cmon Monte, we could've had this game replayed without the other ones... The argument "Rogue wouldn't have picked nasus because they wouldn't have felt as secure" is nowhere near as significant or worthy of a replay as the maw bug. One is circumstance and the other is something out of someones control
No, that's not how this works. Did you ever hear about the butterfly effect? You can't expect the other games to have the same result with a TES win over GAM.
It's funny the outrage the community is having over the bug yet no one on TES will ever acknowledge this and majority of the Chinese fans are saying shit like "Difference between LPL and a Wildcard, Maw of Malmortius" lol it would literally be more embarrassing for TES to demand a remake or even bring it up. Also why aren't people glad Riot isn't bending over backwards for a Chinese team?? If they did the remake everyone would be calling them Tencent dogs. Did everyone forget how much shit they got for RNG at MSI??
The "Maw diff" is a hilarious take tbh, yeah they would have won the game if not for the bug, but that game was very rough anyway. A win is a win for them I guess, but strugling so hard to win against GAM is already a pretty poor show in of itself, win or lose
@@Woodrow512 No they would not have won the game. People forget Jackeylove E was on CD. Sett E is a slow. If they see Lucian is still healthy then guess where Karthus and Renata is heading towards? Renata can just ult lucian instead of the renekton. A win is a win. GAM won. Notice how the CN fans showed there was a bug but didn't try to recreate the potential game ending nexus close?
haha nice call back Thorin on the "Rogue WoW" joke :D also Laure, Sjokz and Trouble are great but Twitch chat is just unbearable with one of them on screen. Half of the guys are toxic the other half apperently way too horny to be allowed to write anything. Then again I am not on social media probably its even worse there.
I think larssen will be exposed in the series. He has been the weakest lin in rogue by far. When he has a lead he cannot translate it into a win, he olays so slowly and so greedy for farm, he was always late on rotation, by far. To me he is the main reason of the rogue time. When you have a fed kalista you have to accelerate and keep the tempo up, and he is the one alwyas slowing it down. To me yagao will expose his lack of map play and it will be a resoundinf 3-0 for jdg

Thorin's Rogue Hellraiser comparison had me dying 🤣
If all else fails Karthus was right there and would kill him immediately and Nami won't be able to finish the Nexus even if she auto-ed more times anyways.
respect to laure for coming on, regardless of her reaction to the twitter drama
about the rge vs jdg match - i think its 75-25, they are even in bot/mid, slightly behind in top, and reasonably behind in jg. definitely jdg favoured but nowhere near unwinnable.
Great episode
That tsm vs eg game, I was watching it at the start of my 8 hour shift.. I got out of work to check the results and game 4 just ended
Thorin malding about that bengi question had me buckled haha
from a point of viewer experience, this has been the worts world championship by far
If you watch the replay, it looks like its a visual bug, Because...
Sett did rank 3 ulti and W on lucian, and that didnt kill him from 200 hp?
No. visual bug.
I know I’m in the minority but I really liked Monday Night League. It was cool as a fan to have 2 “marquis” matchups really focused on and the broadcast built around that
Fire content as always
To monte saying there are not enough game deciding bug. We already got 3 or 4 of them in this world. Plus 3 or 4 very influential but not decisive.
1:23:34
2:08:35 Jesus Thorin got every little thing wrong here lolol
2:31:24 2:33:43 2:36:14 2:38:33

Laure is based. Don't listen to the twitter mob.
Is it a good thing for League of Legends overall is the LCS dies or does it not matter?
Laure is great, can't get enough
Let's go!

Hey Now Everyone. Sodaron here. Enjoy your week of Lol eSports.
That top bug could have been spotted in-game if riot had implemented a decent death recap.
Laure on SI? It's a bold strategy Cotton.
Dream worlds would be:
Quarters:
JDG vs DK
T1 vs RNG
GenG vs EDG
RGE vs DRX
Semis:
JDG vs T1
GenG vs RGE
Finals:
JDG vs GenG
oh shit, with laure!?! cant wait
They could move to BO3's and do a single round robin and fit it in the same amount of time
I actually like it if regular season moves to weekdays and would wish the same for LEC.
I love the way way monte pronounces "controversial"
Dom is moving to Europe? How cool is that 🥳
ye he talked about it on stream before, it'll be at the end of this year, after world's i think
Now with Carlos out how about Papa Smitthy or Deficio to G2? More money, more options.
1:40:25 Fudge gapping top lane??? Blabber facilitating
I just enjoy the show not using Twitter having a great life without internet BS, u should do the same guys. 😉
Jackeylove will always give you a chance.🤣
Isn't it disrespectful to call Mata "a role player"? In Season 4, SSW played around his vision control. Riot directly had to nerf the warding afterwards. He played a completely different game back them. And let's just remember, that Looper was considered "Mata's 3rd summoner spell"... so who was the roleplayer on that team?
Now Mata never got back to that peak level and was just "good" afterwards.
RNG to make the greatest run of all time, from play-ins to T1 QF, JDG SF then beating GenG in the finals.

Objectivly T1 has no winning match-ups vs RNG. JDG lost in regular season and only won Play-offs because RNG lost before double elimination. anit
@@kurtmcfc1629 How many social credits did you get from this post?

I am some random nobody, but when I play league a lot I notice sometimes that a champions usual feel is off. Just the other day I was playing Renekton and the healing was like 10-20% the usual amount; even by the numbers after the game. I am pretty sure the games bugs way more than people realise.
More LPL copium about this "bug caused L" living 1100 range from the nexus for 1.5 seconds longer wasn't gonna make Lucian get 3 autos off.
i mean look maybe tes played good because the pressure was off after being out and they could really dominate the last 2 games or maybe they would have played good regardless of what happened with gam we will never know ....but this is ridiculous for a game thats been around for around 10 years if im not mistaken ? or more idk ....to be fair tes should've never been in this situation to lose that many games but it still sucks, tes was one of my favorite teams in this tournament and i dont think we've seen why so many people had them as one of the favorites in this tournament and its safe to say that quarterfinals would've been much more exciting if tes made it out at least for me and some other ppl but then again i have to repeat THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN IN THIS SITUATION to have this game decide their fate, they were placed in a relatively easy group they should've made it out
51:39 so true. Did not watch a single LCS game this year. I feel like it's a waste of my watching bunch of no-names with no personalities. The only exception would be EG. I thought Jojo shit-talk was hilarious at worlds.
RNG vs JDG will be the real final.
if LCS is on week days I just won't watch it anymore at all xd, its not possible for me in Europe.
Thorin jinxed RNG ffs 😅

If you veto anime, Dostoevsky is an auto ban
Here is my hot take,
Riots mmorpg is an action mmorpg with isometric view, they will rebuild league into the pvp of that game.
I'm glad they're taking a stand against the anime questions lmao.
you guys are wrong about the games not mattering when RGE and DRX qualifies.
Colorado rep!!
laure is one of there reasons why eu>na, get your broadcasters together na
if TES play like that, they deserved to get kicked out, no bad feelings here.
yeah thats riot is a big bug thats the problem
Laure ❤️
Laure Pog
You only have to replay this game. Because of the state of the groups at that time everyone needed their wins, so none saved anything for playoffs
There are also audio bugs where if you get to close to someone hiding in a bush their voice lines trigger revealing they are in the bush lol.
any lore masters to explain laure to me ?
GAM won. Notice how the CN fans showed there was a bug but didn't try to recreate the potential game ending nexus close?
haha nice call back Thorin on the "Rogue WoW" joke :D
also Laure, Sjokz and Trouble are great but Twitch chat is just unbearable with one of them on screen. Half of the guys are toxic the other half apperently way too horny to be allowed to write anything. Then again I am not on social media probably its even worse there.
In terms of earnings Elky is not even close to being top online.
So funny how much LPL fanboy Copium is happening this worlds. From TES sucking to RNG getting styled on by GEN, just hilarious

Larssen has to learn roaming, his counterparts always outplay him in that part while being only a bit behind in cs.
