correct. so much for Ukraine "Being the Nazis" in this conflict not started by them. Of course there will be inadvertent civilian casualties, but they are NOT INTENTIONALLY TARGETED like they are in Ukraine, Hospitals, schools residences, grocery stores, etc. So many War crimes abound under Putin, and when the dust settles, and Ukraine wins, he'll be dead. and many of his commanders, also. I haven't missed a single one of Jake Broe's UA-cam videos since the beginning of the war. I had come across several influencers reporting on Ukraine, but Jake Broe was the one I always waited for. He truly kept me updated with many interesting details. In this interview with the Kyiv Post, all his knowledge came to light. A kleptocracy in its final throes shows many symptoms, and he listed them all: broken infrastructure, no one left to repair it, no planes or trains, and now even many sons of the capital have been captured. Putin's pact with the Russian population, in which he promised security in exchange for staying away from politics, has clearly fallen apart. The war will soon be over, and Ukraine will emerge victorious. That's what Jake Broe says, and I want to believe in it. Thanks to the Kyiv Post for this valuable interview.

wonderful u were there before the war. In the future u may return and see transformation u never imagined possible on earth, positive and negative. You're young so what u already know is that this 'war' is teaching all ppl on earth that the classic human frailties of ignorance, apathy, low-mentality (lack of moral values/codes), create a level of corrupt ignorance societies which then try to increase their power through medieval motives and means including actual depraved sadistic level actions, like Ru's personnel tortured around half of the populaion of the big city of Kherson! These levels of extreme efforts of barbarism, over many months, are actually pretty rare in history. Ru is the real deal, they have become literally evil, and most westerners still do not understand that fact, or what it means.

This is now becoming a problem for him, because the parents of those troops are starting to demand to know what has become of their children.

Not only that, but the majority of their advanced spare parts came from the EU and US. Plus, the Russian railroad industry switched to using German "cartridge" bogey systems for their rail cars. They can't replace these. So as these bogies wear out or are damaged, they cannot be replaced. This means the entire Russian rail network is gradually falling apart, and could, in the near future, fail completely. In his address to the US Congress, Pres. Zelensky mentioned US history and institutions, getting great applause for it. That kind of appeal has generally been fairly weak. My state, Massachusetts, rebelled against our imperial overlord in 1774, ambushed the enemy column that had attacked the towns of Lexington and concord-pushing them back to the sea under constant sniping, and waged a war to protect our elected parliament and local governments. This is quite similar to the recent history of Ukraine. Boston is not the only place in the US where there is a monument to Polish generals Pulaski or Kosciusko for helping us achieve independence.
There are many American descendants from Rzeczpospolita Obojga Narodów [including Polish, Lithuanian and Ukrainian ethnicities]. There are also many Americans like myself who recognize in the Ukrainian fight for independence and democracy our own history and political philosophy. There has not been a strong enough appeal on behalf of Ukraine specifically to Americans with ethnic ties nor to Americans who are conscious of our history and foundational philosophy. More needs to be done, and I have appealed to my state government to do so.
Хай живе свобода, демократія і незалежність України! żyje wolność, demokracja i niepodległość Polski! Tegyvuoja laisvė, demokratija ir Lietuvos nepriklausomybė! Glorious victory for Ukraine! Славна перемога України і ганебна поразка Путіна та Російської імперії!

The whole argument about not using long range tactical missiles inside Russia for fear they might be reverse engineered is ridiculous. Especially when Russian military and civilian aircraft are falling out of the sky due to lack of maintenance. Russian power stations, water treatment plants and damns are breaking because there is no one to repair them. And couldn’t those same missiles be reverse engineered if they were recovered by the Russians in the Donbas?!?

Jake, I am a retired American citizen ( 42 years administering anesthesia ). My retirement nest egg is cracked big time so I am for what ever is beneficial for me and my family. If that means less taxpayer dollars to Ukraine so be it. However let me say, Russia has always been an enemy of America. I lived through the Cuban missile crisis and the threats and podium pounding of the Kremlin . I am favorable to giving aid to Ukraine but not to the extent where it hurts the United States. We gotta get something in return , not only the defeat of Russia but food on our tables and fuel for our military and private sector. Nuff said. Ted in Sebastian, Fl.

It's tripe - and a lot of bravado. Attrition rates - Russia will outlast Ukraine - it's down to total population numbers. And this is how the Red Army swept back the most advanced military of the time in WW2. It was not that they were well trained, it was not that they had the best equipment - they had the sheer numbers. And that is why Ukraine is going to lose this war.

@@caritas8984 Your prediction is noted. You're NOT a student of history, are you? Numbers don't always equate to victory, not even with Russia. It is worth remembering that the Red Army was three times the size of modern Russia's and that they were supplied by the West.
Putin has not the Quantity or, without the West, the Quality, to ensure victory.
Incidentally, Alexander the Great would have quite a laugh at your prediction. Number? A joke, five to one he swept them aside. . . .

@@David-gh6vp Not? Only about 50 years worth. Russia has a population of 140 million plus - compared to Ukraine's 45 million and will outlast them. Ukraine is already about out of well trained and equipped combatants.
This war will be decided largely with drones and missiles. Russia has the resources to make and buy an unlimited number of both. Like the West China is rapidly developing hypersonic kinetic weapons which will be available to Russia. Tanks and other AFVs are going the way of the dinosaur - like battleships in WW2. On a foot soldier level AKs and RPGs are still as effective as ever, and they are cheap - you don't need SIG M7s and high tech man portable systems to fight a war like this. The Afghans outlasted our "state of the art" military, aircraft, drones and highly trained soldiers using AK and RPGs and Toyota pickups.
The German military thought they would sweep the Russians aside. And they did, for awhile. Red Army combat losses were more than 8 million. During the sieges of Leningrad, Stalingrad etc Russians died by the hundreds of thousands from starvation, cold and disease. Civilian deaths numbered well over 10 million. And the Russians still pushed the German Forces all the way back to Berlin.
Alexander would have quite a laugh about that too I am sure.
