I think this phone is better than the previous one better design screen looks better. Speaker sound better cameras better to me a lot faster so I’m picking this over the other Motorola phones.
Motorola needs to be put to rest, either by choice, or force. 😈 Jk. But in all seriousness Motorola fucking sucks. I miss my Lg premier pro. $75 dollars for a phone I'd personally rate at about $500 (in today's market) broke when I dropped it and my service provider didn't have the same phone in stock. Stuck with a $300 phone that feels like a $60 phone until this shitty phone breaks. 😡
Keep in mind that this guy is a specialist and has a high expectation for electronics. But if you are a layman, these Motorola phones are awesome. I had an iPhone, it's in the trash. I have only been using Motos for the past few years. The stylist and does allow more accurate functions, and if your hands are wet or gloved or dirty... it is extremely helpful. (I work with my hands). And the associated apps aren't revolutionary by any means, but they are definitely cool and useful. This phone has a large amount of space. And the space is expandable. There are some photo features that are great as well. Especially compared to other phones in this price range. Overall, is an amazing and intuitive machine. But based off of my research (and by no means am I a proper researcher of electronics) I would have to agree with the gentleman and say that this upgrade does not have very many upgrades. It seems to be very similar to the 2021, but with a few changes. To me, it seems like the 2022 version has not added enough features to lust over. Thank you for this review Mr videographer. I'm glad you made it
@@kcg7861 lol, you do know that Samsung supplies most the parts the "competition" uses including Apple and Motorla right? even Motorola flagships are using Samsung lenses, chips, and displays. Like it or not, there is a reason why Samsung and Apple are considered the best. LG is the only one that I would accept as competition for Samsung as they make their own parts and supply it to most companies like Samsung does as a tech giant. But Motorola? Even comparing it by a little bit to Samsung is. joke. Samsung is the best and only LG and Apple can challenge it. Motorola now is no different from the cheapo Chinese brands out there.
@@leeallenbeal, I typed this on my 2020 Moto G Stylus. A few days ago I broke my Samsung Galaxy A23 5G due to frustration with it. My first Android was a Samsung and the new ones seemed to be lacking compared to the older ones. I've used Samsung, LG, HTC, Huawei, Motorola and Umidigi but kept going back to LG until they stopped making phones. I miss LG's UI. My first smartphone was a Nokia Windows phone which came with a good many Microsoft apps that I still use today on my Android(s).
@@SeoWoojin55There's a reason you pay a premium for those name brands too. Even 3s and 5s have holes when you want to get off, what's your point exactly?
Idk how people complain about this phone. Saying it has less features. Like you actually use all Friday features. I change a bunch of settings in the develop hmmer options. I use face ID and fingerprint and its instant for me to unlock. For the stylus you can go into developer options, and change the response time and sensitivity of the stylus. A lot of issues users bring up, there's settings to improve it. But rather than that playing with those settings. Users would rather write off as bad. I love this phone. It's all about personal preference as well as being able to navigate the developer options to fine tune the stylus 2022. I personally will continue to get this lineup until they're discontinued or actually bad phone's.
I don't think people looking to do serious gaming on a phone would buy this phone. (The only games I play on my phone are chess and Sudoku. Neither requires a high refresh rate.) I occasionally use the speaker on my phone for "speaker mode" in a phone call. Music is always via Bluetooth, headphones, or WiFi casting. I could go on. My point is, this is a budget phone, aimed at people on a budget, who don't want to play call of duty, or whatever. You say that "Motorola isn't giving their customers value." You feel that way, but you are clearly not in their customer pool. (My guess is your current phone cost more than $1000 - or about 2 or 3 times the cost of this phone.) While I don't think that this phone is for me, I just want to point out that not everyone has the need to make movies on their smartphone. (The only photos I've taken in the last several months with my phone are when I was involved in fender-bender accident and wanted to document the damage. I don't feel the need to take selfies everyday, or Instagram every meal that I eat. The reason that $1200 phones cost $1200 is that every year the camera gets better, the screen refresh faster, the gaming experience better. And for people who want that, go ahead and spend the money - provided you can afford it. Not everyone can afford it. Not everyone wants those "new and improved" features.
I got the 2022 Moto G stylus phone in March. I love it so much, it's so fast and cool and snappy and futuristic. It's not too heavy, I love the screen and the speakers and the stylus. I feel so fortunate too be able to use such amazing technology for just $300.
@@holtensmith8768 It's so good. It's super duper smooth all around. All apps works so fast and snappy it's scary. Literally nothing ever takes any time to load, kind worrisome how fast computer chips have gotten. It does not overheat, even under max load gaming for 30 minutes straight. The battery really does last 2 + days of using it for 15 hours per day. It feels high quality too. All good, no bad.
@@leeallenbeal Yea I noticed within a few days of having the stylus 2022 that the stylus 5G 2021 worked way better for me...the stylus 2022 is slower I don't like the fingerprint placement the Bluetooth and the Bluetooth sucks
@@leeallenbeal What is worse about it? 2022 version has a better main camera, kept the same ultrawide, has a much bigger battery, more ram and 90hz instead of 60hz. It is a huge improvement imo.
Consider the price Motorola vs Samsung....The Moto G series phones are budget options something has to give to keep the price down if anyone is complaining go buy an S22 Ultra at full price
My man... phones nowadays cost 700USD when they come out. Here we have an affordable phone that looks good. I don't think they went for "features" but for affordability.
I have a lot to agree with here - I bought this phone for the fantastic price of $160 straight through Cricket - however with the caveat that it only has 4gb of ram! The only other noticeable difference is the rear cover - a very glossy dark blue, it would easily pass off for glass. It is certainly a huge upgrade from my previous phone - a Moto G7 play. Better overall specs, except the charging. The charging speed is a massive let down. It is noticeably slower than any phone I've owned in the last 4 years and that is quite disappointing. While the stylus wasn't the main reason I bought the phone, it was certainly an exciting feature for me as I'd like to do some digital art in my down time at work.. except it is pretty bad for that. The inaccuracy, lack of pressure sensitivity and the slight delay makes it pretty bad for that - only being one step above drawing with your finger like a caveman. Overall, for $160 I'd say this phone is fantastic but there is certainly a lot that could be improved that would make it more worthy of it's MRSP - arguably most importantly the stylus and charging speed.
Got mine for 150 today. I'm absolutely loving it. Although that said, they must have updated something because mine Definitely has pen pressure and is decently accurate, nor am I experiencing lag.
A bigger screen might be nice. I know the screen is large but 6.8 inches feels a bit cramped for using a stylus. It clearly is not meant to be used in one hand anyways. They could then make the battery bigger.
For anyone complaining, we are still shortage of chips. That mean it is more expensive to buy and install them on a phone and pass it down to consumers. Make sense right? I rather have a decent phone and affordable phone any day versus paying $1000 phone and if my $300 broke in 2 years, guess what I am upgrading to the next most budget friendly phone like this. However I am on my '20 stylus still, a bit slow, a little lagging here and there but until then I am not trading up until this one completely unusable.
Save money and just buy an iPhone 13. $800 and you’ll get a superior phone in every way and you’ll only have to get a phone every 4 years with zero lag, great pics, great battery all for the duration of your phone
I have had a Motorola ever since LG quit making phones, and always will until something happens to Motorola phone line. I am not paying 1000 + to say I have a better camera 🦨!!! These phones are fine. Never had a problem, but I don't live in my phone either.
@@JMarie8823 yeah but to make everything work well is Apple devices will cost more. Rather save that money and be okay with it. I say buy mid range phone with reputable company and you good. Reason why I stop supporting Nokia. Their quality on the phone is nice but the software need serious help. Mid range and can complete with Motorola in midrange. $800, I can have 2 phones within 4 years like you say for $400. Upgrade my Bluetooth device. And still be under $800. You expect people to save $800, and now want a earpods or anything Apple related will have to cough another $300-$500. Not only that, the hassle of transporting your videos or pictures when your storage is almost full makes no sense. And if you do decide to do cloud, guess what, money. Apple got you by the balls and squeeze it so hard you don't even realize it. Sorry no.
@@DSPNWtoCaliAs a previous android user and current iPhone user, (writing this comment from a Moto G Stylus 5G (2022). I must say that buying a iPhone is your best bet, the build quality, camera quality, and overall quality of life you get with iPhone for surpasses what you get for any android (at least midrange as I have yet to use a flagship android device). Plus durability and longevity both are better on iPhone despite what people claim, my first and current iPhone has lasted longer than my android phones and I have yet to experience any optimization issues and its still being upgraded to the newest version of iOS. Androids usually don't last long before their support is pulled and aren't allowed to update to further android versions; furthermore, you will struggle to find apps that are have good optimization unless you have a flagship because just how many androids there are, optimization for every single one would take FOREVER. Also, the price isn't as big of an issue, sure the newest and grand iPhone's will cost a ton but so do top tier brand new android's, buying an older iPhone like the 12 will still give you the iPhone experience and will last you a lot longer and cost a lot less. Overall as someone whose been learning about Phones (still a amateur) I would have to give iPhone the upperhand. Although I do hate Apple's unfriendly and aggressive behavior towards the consumer.
Great spot-on review couldn't agree more! Really who "downgrades" a successor, oh Motorola does that's who... It seems there's always a little bit of smoke-n-mirrors every time they launch a new reiteration hoping to captivate the unsuspecting. IMHO they're becoming a dead horse here in North America for all intense and purposes especially when you look at their International offerings. And have yet to see where they are trying to improve on the support end of things which imo is gonna leave them in the dust sooner rather than latter.
Last year I got my Moto G Stylus and I LOVE it and this channel is mainly what sold me on getting it. It's too bad that this newer one doesn't improve much, but I think I'd still be happy with it, since I love last year's. Gonna hold on to mine for while still.
I think this phone is better than the previous one just going to developer settings turn off the animations, and it runs pretty good for the price. I will be getting one soon.
Support Claims with Evidence: You keep saying that there's a drop-off in quality or specs from past years... but then.... I kept listening for what they actually are, and didn't come up with much. The single speaker is the same as last year. The battery capacity is bigger. There's more RAM (now 6 GB), and more built in storage (now 128 GB). SD card storage is increased to 1 TB. Screen has a higher refresh rate. The processor in the T-Mobile version is Qualcomm Snapdragon 695.... which I think is better, faster than what has been offered previously. I must be missing something? You seem more bothered that it hasn't been improved than that it's actually dropped off in quality. Just my impression. This phone is looking good to me among the free phones offered by T-Mobile.
I've had this phone for a year and it's torture. I can't see anything in the day light, the Wi-Fi is weak everywhere I go, the stylus does blow, the phone often needs restarted. Motorola wanted me to send my phone in for minimum three up to 14 days to look it over before they'd offer me a replacement. Unreal.
It's Aug 2023 and I just got the 2022 Motorola G Stylus in twilight blue for $129, free shipping. Haven't set up yet. Lots of bang for the buck, has more storage and features than the current $300 range models. I did not want 5g. I love my Motorola One Zoom, but some glitches after toilet drop.
I like the phone better than the previous model because it's more stable I had a lot of glitches in the 2021 model this one whatever they did it runs like a tank
My favorite thing about the phone is the viewing experience, it's a pleasure. I did notice glare till yesterday. Initially it's bigger and heavier than I would prefer but it suits the phone and it seems solid and durable. I prefer the viewing experience on this than the moto edge 2022. Speakers are not stereo but not too bad. Camera seems ok so far but would have preferred a better front camera
I have samsung m30s that I bought for 200$ from 2019 and I think it's better than this 2022 phone! Amoled screen ,6000 mah battery, 15 watt charging and good camera , don't forget the amazing softwear that samsung offers.
I'm using a Moto g pure and this phone will be a great upgrade. I love the pure now that it has Android 12. But I want the bigger screen and more storage.
Thank you for helping me make up my mind about this phone. I use a stylus to scroll, click, and type - not take notes. I also need the large screen this phone offers. I don't care about the camera because I can honestly say that I haven't taken a picture with my phone for more than a decade! I only need a phone to make an occasional text and an occasional call, so I will probably be buying this one sometime this summer. I am waiting for Samsung's A series release before I make a commitment though. If one of the phones have at least a 6.8" screen, I will likely buy Samsung, mostly because I am used to their UI. :)
Yeah because these reviewers are kinda clickbaity the specs aren’t really noticeably worse or anything it’s a good phone unless you really need a stylus phone cuz it isn’t the best

Hey thanks for another good review yeah I got agree Motorola’s definitely missing an opportunity here I thought about getting one but after watching reviews on any other phones like you said they all seem to be downgrade it’s a weird thing
Apparently the MediaTek is actually a bit slower than Snapdragon, but is more reliable and it's _way_ cheaper. But personally it's still a great value, the speed's just fine, and have no need for any kinda 'bragging rights' anyway.
@@당신은더미입니다 I think they're trying to phase out 4G with 5G. Lot of new phones don't even support 2G bands anymore for those in rural areas. Even 3G bands going away on phones..
Hi I own the 2020 version of this phone. And only just recently upgraded to the 2022 version. I do notice quicker app switching due to the 2 extra GB of RAM, but I honestly hate the feel of tall display with the width now shrinking. Also the sound sucks, no other way to say it. I bought this phone reduced for Prime day this October, so at least I didn't pay full price. I should of gotten the OnePlus Nord which was also on sale, but I am so familiar with the Moto apps that I figured I would stay on board with Motorola. One more thing...where the heck is Android 12? This has the same OS as my older two year old phone Android 11.... Shame on you Motorola... Good review btw.
They just announced the Moto G52 which gave me hope for a new good year for Motorola devices, first midranger from motorola that made me think about upgrading my G8 Power.
@@marvel4life429 I wish I could get it but I'm gonna be working in 4 more months and the extra time in to get the money, then I should buy something else then 😂
If OS updates are a problem, just install a custom ROM. Simple. I know that sounds a bit odd saying it, but don't expect a phone with a low price have good quality software and hardware. After all it's a budget friendly midrange phone and for the price it is, I feel that you are getting more than what you paid for because of the headphone jack in which that's necessary and the SD slot too.
You know I guess to each his own the only thing that I have noticed between this stylist and the first one is that the first one was a lot louder the speakers are really really good but other than that this is a far better phone than than the first stylist and the first stylist but I mean I just got the stuff and I've been using it and I really like it I don't find any negatives to it it's a really fast phone that won't camera works really good it has NFC which I thought it wouldn't have it has a good amount of memory like I said it does work quick you know everything seems to be working fine I don't know what's this guys deal with this phone but even the facial recognition to unlock the phone works super fast faster than my Apple phone so you know I got this phone for free from MetroPCS and I am definitely not complaining
@@rustymixer2886 bro did you even watch the video seen you been going through the comment section saying this it had both it has a headphone Jack and 90hz
Spot on review! I bought this phone for $150 and a week into owning it I found out it didn’t have NFC/Tap-to-Pay at the worst time possible. The phone really could’ve been a top tier budget phone if Motorola focused on the fundamentals.
I had the older moto g stylus and the only thing I didn't like was the dim display. Does the 2022 version have the same display or is brighter? Please someone answer because I want to get this phone.
Could you do a Galaxy A71 in 2022 review? I still personally use one (however I'm due an upgrade in May) and I'm still perfectly happy with it and honestly if I had to wait another 2 years to upgrade it I'd be perfectly happy.
Motorola is gettin better , now whit moto edge 30 bring Stylus also and all flag ship phone features , and always pointing low and accesible price and good performance that will last a lot , like moto got us used to .
I truely believe that the previous motorola stylus is the inspiration behind the "Center Stage" of iPhone, and the "Stylus pen" in S22 ultra. Also the touch fingerprint home button at the side, with that scrolling function. They're deveopers are the pioneer of almost everything, but I'm just sad they are not making any high end phone, leaving the credits to iPhone and Samsung. Why do they stick on budget phones that aren't even worth-it :3
Samsung are the first ones who were serious about adding a built-in stylus in their phones. Remember the Galaxy Note series? I still have my old Galaxy Note 4 actually - the stylus with that phone somehow even feels more precise than this one, which is interesting. I applaud Motorola for including a stylus though.
I'm still on my moto g 6+ and I've had moto g and/or moto e basically forever... Need a new phone now and struggling with picking... I really want something budget friendly... But idk I'm underwhelmed by moto lately. I'm a little bummed it feels like they are giving their budget customers less and less. I used to rave about to moto g and e lines... Idk I can't decide if I should stick around or branch out...
FANTASTIC phone for $200 beans.... and a headphone jack - awesomeness. it's also a great phablet for the crib or even a backup phone. and NOT having 5G is a benefit to anyone paying attention to what's going on in the world. now if they would only lose all the dumb cameras so i don't need to put black tape over them anymore.
What the…..?!?! If you’re that paranoid, why would you buy a smartphone in the first place? 😳 Look into getting a Sunbeam f1 Daisy. It doesn’t have a camera or an App Store or browser.
@@oddsnends3090 based on the current state of the world and for personal safety reason, i certainly wouldn't buy a 5G smartphone until more data comes in. i have no need for 5G anyway and have no desire to pay a premium for it. as far as being paranoid i've never asked for (nor needed) 5 cameras on a phone as selfies, NatGeo quality photos, FB & IG are completely unnecessary & useless for me as i'm not into groupthink or gaining acceptance from others. I've also always covered any webcams on laptops/desktops with black tape as a personal security measure and will continue to do so. but i also recognize that everyone has different needs/use cases - so you doing you is alright by me and i don't feel frightened of that.
I guess the 2022 stylus has the Android 11 OS. This year I understand the Android 12 will show up. What worries me is the OS. Does it receive updating? I ask b/c there are apps that I cannot install on my old LG Rebel 3 cell phone. A message pops up saying my phone is incompatible!
I have this one AND the 2020 model. Got the current one to replace the Samsung A23 5G I aquired the first of the year when I switched carriers. Now THAT phone is a disappointment in my opinion. I used the Samsung Galaxy Lite years ago and it has better features than the new model. I found the whole setup to be frustrating which is why it is now in need of a new screen. The A23 5G does not have an FM Radio whereas the Moto G Stylus does. My old Galaxy Lite has home screen looping and the new one does not. What's wrong with this picture? They put in a bunch of unnecessary bells & whistles I don't need or have a use for and took out the things I actually use. I sure miss using an LG phone.
It's not really at a lot of the prepaid carriers in the US, which I think is honestly where a lot of Motorola sales in the US come from. They also don't advertise it very much, if at all here. When I do see a Motorola advertisement, it's usually for either the stylus line, the power, or play. That's their big three in the US. They kinda just don't care about us anymore compared to other markets.
How do I stop phone from listing recently opened apps to bottom row? Cant remove then - so I end up with the app icon on my main screen AND also on the bottom line. -------
It's a budget phone. For less than $130 it's a great phone and honestly most people can't tell the difference between this and a $1200 phone both will only last a few years as well no matter how much you spend.
Is there a difference in size between the 4g model and the 5g model? Will they both fit in the same case? Having a hard time finding a case. The 5g model keeps showing up but not the 4g model.
@@SW-fm6up The 5g case is easy to find. The 4g case is hard to find. Even though they are both identical. They are slightly different. The buttons don't line up. Probably going to have to buy the 5g phone just so I can get a case.

@@oddsnends3090 I found the phone's name somewhere in the settings and it's exactly what you said but with a 5G at the end, was the 20/20 version also 5g?
@ GreenCanvasInteriorscape, sorry that I just now saw your question. Motorola didn’t make a 5g compatible stylus in 2020. Yours must be the 2021 5g version. Is it emerald green color?
Thanks for the review the only stylus device I have ever had is the Samsung galaxy note 4, it was a wonderful experience but this doesn't seem worth it.
I have the 2021 cosmic green or emerald green one and I was wanting to get this year's model and model but now that you say it's worse I guess I will skip it now maybe they will make a relaunch of that because of complaints but I might skip it. I really love the one I got but it's getting slower and slower and haven't had it a year yet, will be in November bought it on black Friday so I might just go back to Samsung Galaxy phones. The phone I had before this one was a LG and it was ok, and since they are not going to make phones anymore can't go to them.
I bought this phone and I love it, the battery last a long time, the screen looks really nice and the performance seems great to me, specially because its very affordable, I would recommend it to anyone other than people who are really keyed in to the tech side
They really are in such a good position to, like you said “undercut” Apple N Samsung , and they are insane trying to cut corners the way they are. Also stop with the whole “Line up” Bullsh$t. Make one awesome phone, thats a better price than Samsung. So much blown opportunity

Mmm, is just me , but some sites have this device with the SD695 (5G) (T-Mobile is one of them)... But other sites have them with a different SoC, I'm curious about that , bcuz I was thinking on getting the Tmo variant just for the sake of getting something good with 5G speeds (first time Moto user)

I had the 2021 version and loved it but lost it in the Philippines. Im seeing the 2022 version for $85 on sale. Loved my old phone fast big screen and speakers sounded awesome. My old phone battery lasted insane long time but after 2 years of heavy use it sodnt last very long anymore. Also got a virus on it that would randomly open web pages. I love gow my old stylus xould ahake it and the flashlight feature would turn on, very handy dies this have the same feature.
I got one on sale at Best Buy. A few complaints, the antenna strength is awful. My older phone got better reception in weak signal places. Second issue is the phone doesn't seem to like going back and forth between wifi and mobile network. Requires having to restart a lot of times, or wait 10-15mins for it to finally give up trying to get back on wifi and start looking for the actual mobile network signal. My last phone allowed me to get texts/emails while on wi-fi. This phone I can get emails while on wifi, but texts are a crapshoot. Camera is cool, fast enough for apps.
I am thoroughly confused, I just received my 2022 Moto 5G stylus phone and it has the quad camera it does not have three cameras straight in a line as this video illustrates so which phone did I actually receive I ordered the 2022 Moto 5G stylus with 256 internal memory
every "complaint" you had is nowhere near a deal breaker for me. i don't care what the outside looks like. it's gonna have a case on it. i don't care that it takes longer than 0.00005 seconds to load between apps. i'm not sure what you mean by bad "performance" but it looked pretty swift to me and the speakers were adequate. asking for a serious and in depth gaming experience on a phone is ridiculous request. that's why game consoles were invented. The lag in the stylus with the screen is the exact same thing i see on iphones and ipads. none of your "cons" were reason enough to pass up this phone despite your obvious biased distaste for this phone. Sure, it has a somewhat dated processor but 6gb of RAM is a definite plus for this phone as well as the 128gb on board memory. The current price point of this phone at the time of this comment is less than $200. This phone looks like a good choice for someone who just wants a phone that works. Your review is not. Thumbs up for the phone. Thumbs down for you.

Then Later Finding Out She Has Implants...Bugger That... EVERYTHING[Except The Battery] About The MOTOROLA MOTO G POWER[MMXXII]Is A Downgrade To The MOTOROLA MOTO G POWER Of Last Year[MMXXII]...
Phone is alright. It take ok pictures and is able to Run my work order app and my Game RR3. Of course I kinda over clocked through the developer menu and installed a good memory card 400+ gigabytes. The only thing that I don't like about is the finger print on the power button. Always fighting with this button. I was forced to get this phone after my older Motorola stylus died and never wake up. Both phones Cricket Wireless/ATT And I needed a phone same day due to my work.
No doubt Motorola still has to match a particular niche and price point, so not to make excuses for 'em, but they also have to contend with the comparative 'upgrade' design costs, hardware, and available chipsets. And at only $200 thru my carrier, still find it's a bargain, at least as far as the features and kinda speed that I need. Though I don't intend to do any 'Photoshop' work or video editing on it, still occasionally find the stylus surprisingly handy for more 'precise' details and keyboarding. Especially since, as you point out, there currently ain't nuthin' else with *_any_* kinda stylus below 1200 bucks... let alone with an 'interactive' one, that's U$B powered and bluetooth-enabled! ;-)

Im HTC Fan LG fan Samsung fan and Motorola fan I still have my 2021 Moto G stylus
@@SeoWoojin55 yes LG and Samsung makes legacy parts for many manufacturers. I don't understand what you're trying to get at ?
(My guess is your current phone cost more than $1000 - or about 2 or 3 times the cost of this phone.)
While I don't think that this phone is for me, I just want to point out that not everyone has the need to make movies on their smartphone.

@@Highgear145 I'm not sure what you mean by this given that Samsung's A series is incredibly overpriced. lol
My man... phones nowadays cost 700USD when they come out.
I bought the same one for my mother. I hope as we leave covid shipping mess at sea gets better I hope they will bring something better next year.
I saw it for $126 on Amazon (including tax it's about 135) and it's about the same as my pixel 4a (which was $200), just taller and includes a stylus.

Dual speakers should be a must
Support Claims with Evidence:
You keep saying that there's a drop-off in quality or specs from past years... but then....

My favorite thing about the phone is the viewing experience, it's a pleasure. I did notice glare till yesterday. Initially it's bigger and heavier than I would prefer but it suits the phone and it seems solid and durable. I prefer the viewing experience on this than the moto edge 2022.

Hi I own the 2020 version of this phone. And only just recently upgraded to the 2022 version.

I have this one AND the 2020 model. Got the current one to replace the Samsung A23 5G I aquired the first of the year when I switched carriers. Now THAT phone is a disappointment in my opinion. Wondering why nobody talks about the moto g100 in USA, it is available on Motorola US site.
This phone is for people that don't care about having flagship specs nor want to spend $1300 on a phone...if this phone isn't for you then simply get a phone that works for you and stop crying 🙄....And BTW charger is in the box
I have a moto g power 2020. Want to stay moto, was thinking of the 5g one ? Any opinions on what to get? Thanks
I would consider the Moto g100 unlocked from the Motorola website. It’s the best phone in the G series this year.
@@oddsnends3090 I'll look into that, Thanks 👍
@@oddsnends3090 wont be better when 2023 version gets here
@ 1painter 4hire, you're welcome. I hope you found one that suits your needs.
So the Sd 695 is last year's moto g stylus and this year's has the heilo tech processer
@@westonstatt5655 oh I thought the T-Mobile variant (Moto G stylus 2022) was this year model... Oh well thanks 👍
Motorola did the same sort of... Downgrade.... When they went from Moto E5.... To a Stripped Down.... Moto E6..... Not Sure... Who... It was Created For..???
Thanks for a Good & Honest Review....
I love gow my old stylus xould ahake it and the flashlight feature would turn on, very handy dies this have the same feature.
that's a steal of a deal
The camera is so bad, it looks like it has some kind of filter over it. I wish there was a way to fix it.
so do i go for this or the 2021 or 2021 5g?
I went with the 2021 4g, and I love it
I got one on sale at Best Buy.
Was this before or after updates?
hey man if you live in US, can review motorola smart stylus and the folio case. i couldnt find this product review anywhere
I am thoroughly confused, I just received my 2022 Moto 5G stylus phone and it has the quad camera it does not have three cameras straight in a line as this video illustrates so which phone did I actually receive I ordered the 2022 Moto 5G stylus with 256 internal memory
I believe this one is a 4g.
please tell us which sub 200 dollar phone you prefer over the motorolla?
Update on the price its right now on sale for prime day for 133
every "complaint" you had is nowhere near a deal breaker for me.
i don't care what the outside looks like. it's gonna have a case on it.
i don't care that it takes longer than 0.00005 seconds to load between apps.
i'm not sure what you mean by bad "performance" but it looked pretty swift to me and the speakers were adequate.
asking for a serious and in depth gaming experience on a phone is ridiculous request. that's why game consoles were invented.
I Partially Agree...I Wish Phone Manufacturers Would STOP Using Bloody Ridiculous Rubbish Bin Mediatek Processors...THATS One Of The Most Annoying Things About MOTOROLA[And Other Manufacturers]...For Example: They Put A Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 Processor In The 2 Phones I Have: The MOTOROLA MOTO G POWER & MOTOROLA MOTO G9 POWER...Also The MOTOROLA MOTO G STYLUS[2022]5G...Yet They Put A Rubbish Bin Mediatek HellNo G88 Processor In The MOTO G STYLUS[2022]...I Don't Understand Their Random Crap Choice Of Mediatek Processor In One Model...Then Put The Rather More Preferred Qualcomm Snapdragon In Another Model...It's Bloody Irritating!...Apart From All That...The Other Specs Are Absolutely Splendid...The Only Downgrade...As Far As I'M Concerned Is The Rubbish Bin Mediatek Processor...It's Like Meeting A Sexy Girl... Then Later Finding Out She Has Implants...Bugger That... EVERYTHING[Except The Battery] About The MOTOROLA MOTO G POWER[MMXXII]Is A Downgrade To The MOTOROLA MOTO G POWER Of Last Year[MMXXII]...
Motorola makes the strongest phones. I threw one threw a wall once figured it was destroyed finally. Two day later i heard the wall ringing
Lcd > Amoled in 🌞 though I can't see shit on my s21 ultra in sun without 100% brightness draining my battery
Both phones Cricket Wireless/ATT
And I needed a phone same day due to my work.
why is my app keep doubling on my home scream
No doubt Motorola still has to match a particular niche and price point, so not to make excuses for 'em, but they also have to contend with the comparative 'upgrade' design costs, hardware, and available chipsets. And at only $200 thru my carrier, still find it's a bargain, at least as far as the features and kinda speed that I need. Though I don't intend to do any 'Photoshop' work or video editing on it, still occasionally find the stylus surprisingly handy for more 'precise' details and keyboarding. Especially since, as you point out, there currently ain't nuthin' else with *_any_* kinda stylus below 1200 bucks... let alone with an 'interactive' one, that's U$B powered and bluetooth-enabled! ;-)
Lowen.. "Well said"
Cool, thank you for the honesty...👍🏽👌🏽
