I hope you have a fabulous day - and Happy Coloring!!
Those last four greys are gorgeous. I love using cool greys for mandalas.
I have chromeatek and color technik or how ever you spell it in my wishlist for my gel pens
Dana Canarick love them!!
@@LisasColoringCorner i know that's how I know they are good and put it on my wishlist
These gel pens look awesome never colored with gel pens before I might have to try them
These aren’t gel pens, they are markers. But I do like them.
Lisa I bought the Pen + Gears before Christmas from Walmart. I bought both the fine and the ultra fine. I personally am not impressed with them. I find the I have to go over a space 3 or 4 times to get even coverage AND a lot of the pens aren’t real juicy. I’m using them because for both sets I paid 40 bucks but I won’t be replacing them once they’re gone. Thanks so much for your review! 💖😁
Assistant to the Regional Manager oh really? The sets I got are really nice. I wonder if you could get replacement sets.
Lisa’s Coloring Corner I think maybe it was just the ones I picked up......I’ve talked to a couple more folks that said their’s was fine too😉
Lisa’s Coloring Corner oh.....PS......I watched your Crayola permanent marker review and when I went to Amazon to check them out I noticed that Crayola also has gel pens now......do u have a review on those yet?
Assistant to the Regional Manager no I have not tried the gel pens yet. Let me go check them out.
I ordered the smaller set. They come in 12 and 24 sets. Unfortunately they don’t have the color names on them like the markers do.
I don't see the link for the glitter Cailart pens
Teresa Paper Lady the Caliart set is no longer available but here’s a link to a huge pack of Shuttle Art 240 pack of all glitter gel pens, 120 colors/pens and 120 refills for about $24.

@@LisasColoringCorner thanks
If I use that in coloring a plactic kind of a toy is it easy to remove by the water or not? Thanks
No these are alcohol based permanent markers. So water will not take it off.
I bought myself a set of these at my local walmart yesterday. I tried one of the pens (looking for a good deep red) and it was deep. The only problem is they bleed through the page something fierce. Also leaked onto the previous page. Also one of the small tab closer's on top half-way broke off, but the case still stays closed
These markers are alcohol based so they definitely will bleed through any and all paper. You wouldn’t want to use them on double sided coloring books. And just make sure you put some paper under the page you’re coloring to prevent bleeding into the next picture (cardstock is best).
Hi again, I got the Ultra Fine Pen*Gear Permanent Markers, and was expecting the type of metal UF tip like Sharpies/Bics, etc.....but the Pen*Gear Ultra Fine were a 'bullet tip', similar to the value-priced alcohol markers like Caliart, Ohuhu, etc....So I took them back, and got ANOTHER box of the 30/15 Pen*Gear markers...There are 2 of each of 15 colors in the package, which are OK for me. I was wondering if my box was maybe 'mis-marked' at the factory??
mom2greyhounds yes the tips are different than the Bics and Sharpies but the ultrafine tips are definitely smaller than the regular fine tips
Do they still carry the ultra fine rope are well? Amand can I prefer them from Amazon prime
These were only available at WalMart and I'm not sure if they carry them any more.
Hi Lisa. I am confused on what the latches on the side are for. They only latch to its own individual tray. When the top latches are released, the case opens either way, Side latches locked or not.
Am I overlooking something?
I would appreciate any feedback you have on this. Thanks
I'm not sure why either.
I like these! Thanks for the review!!
These are just like sharpies but cheaper. I'll be getting the 12 pack for less than $3!!!!
I have both fine and ultra fine tips of these. I adore them! I swatched them and then taped a small swatch onto the markers. I love them love them love them!!
Cathren Riddler good idea!
great video, lisa. i noticed when certain products become popular on amazon, their prices go up or sold out. recently i have been in te market for some pastel colored pencils(for coloring fairy hair, clothes etc) but i LOVE the pastel colored markers!
Cassiee Pouncy me too!! 😊
Thanks so much for this review...I've purchased the Fine set, and returned them, as I only use Ultra Fine, and at the time, Walmart didn't have the Ultra Fine....TODAY they did...after watching your video, I couldn't wait until today to go to Walmart....I do have a 30 count set, which includes 2 of each color....whee, now I have 60 more. BYW, when I was searching on Google if my WM had them in store, and saw that they are selling Ohuhu, Caliart, AND Copics!!! etc to name a couple brands.. of course sold and shipped from a 3rd party seller. I LOVE your videos: Coloring, Reviews, and anything about Diamond Painting!
mom2greyhounds thank you so much!! I’ll have to go look at Walmart’s website again for markers and see how their prices compare with Amazon. Thank you for the heads up. 😊
I just picked these up & looked at them yesterday at Walmart. I recently got a 36 pen set of Bic Markers for around $12 & I was looking for the ultra fine set on clearance for $4 at some stores. My store didn't have any😕
Lisa O'Neill oh wow those are some good deals!!
Thanks for doing a review of these markers. I have the super fine points and love them!
Love the various versions of colors. Will definitely add to my collection. Great case for travel😊
Thanks for the review, Lisa. Have you tried their gel pens? I like them. I bought the 60 set from Walmart.
Doris Shoffler are they just glitter or all the different types?
@@LisasColoringCorner
Hi Lisa! I hope you and your family are well. The gel pen set has...Primary, glitter, neon, metallic
and pastel. Sometimes as you know, the neon and pastel can be dry. I haven't used them
for a bit, but I do remember liking them. I just bought the markers, so thanks again for
your review.
Doris Shoffler thanks for the info. 😊
Lisa’s Coloring Corner
You’re welcome, Lisa. Although, when I went to buy them, I bought the Pen+Gear
Ultra fine tip instead. They have a white barrel. And the are no where near as small
as the ultra fine tip sharpies. I really like them, though. Yesterday I went and bought
the set you have. So now I have both of those sets and the gel pens. Lol...Thank
you so much!!
Doris Shoffler I now bought the fine tip Pen + Gear pens too. And you’re right - they are not quite as fine as the ultrafine tips on the Sharpies and Bics but I kinda like them. I’m thinking of doing a color and chat with them in the near future.
Thank you for the swatches/review!! I’ll be purchasing these markers soon🙂
First again love your videos lisa love you ❤
Maddison Geldard now how in the world can you watch the videos that fast??? Lol.
@@LisasColoringCorner lol i comment then watch 😂😂❤
Maddison Geldard ah. I see. I was was wondering how fast you were!!! Lol. 🤣
@@LisasColoringCorner haha lol 😂😂❤
That is so odd... Hmmmm... 🤔. my Pen+Gear markers don't have any scent to speak of!
FernCurtis that is odd. Mine had quite a distinct odor.
Lisa’s Coloring Corner, Yes..indeed it really is. With them being alcohol markers, I expected them to smell similiar to my Sharpies...but nope, no smell....both sets are that way. I was pleasantly surprised! I did purchase mine earlier this year though, like back in the Spring...maybe they changed the formula a little bit since then? At least I'm assuming that you just purchased your sets recently, maybe like in the last couple of weeks or so? I know my cases are slightly different as well. They open up like a book, but those latches you opened up first, aren't there....just the little ones are. Also, in case you haven't tried to do so yet....they "play" nicely with the Sharpies, as well. 😊
FernCurtis ah good to know. Yes, I just purchased these. I want to do a color and chat with them, hopefully soon.
Hi,
Thanks for doing this video. I may purchase this set.
I bought the 48 dual-tip brush pens of this brand. Under $20 with case. I like it.
These are nice. I missed the first part. Are they alcohol?
Nanci Vessells yes they are alcohol markers.
These markers blend pretty well and are decent to color with. I personally like them. I did my first coloring session on a coloring book page. Check it out for yourselves.

Thank you, Lisa! I’ll be ordering these. I am a huge fan of the Bic Marking pens and these seem like a great compliment to that set.
I love watching/listening to swatch videos too. I have a small set of the Pen+Gear markers and some metallic ones. To me they smell worse than Sharpies, but I don't notice my Sharpie's smelling anymore. The metallic P+G have squishy nibs and I don't know if it's just my set or what.
Melinda S these definitely do smell. Lol. 🤣
Hi Lisa, I really enjoy watching your swatching videos, these pens look amazing, it's just ashame I don't think you can get them in the UK as these would go on my wish list straight away lol :) x
The stitching colourist shelly lewis awww that’s a bummer. 😢
Lisa, Lisa, you keep me in trouble with my coloring budget (now non-existent). These markers look so beautiful and compact. I cannot resist (in spite of odor). I may not need them but I just have to add them to my collection. Thanks for the enticing review!
JoAnn Joiner I know - I’m bad. Lol.
I will definitely get this set.... I purchased another set from Walmart with the same case but they are smaller markers and I love them! TFS Hugsss!
Im so sad they have been out of stock for a long time
I love your videos....where are you from? I was born in Mn and I hear a mid-west accent
Leah Hanson yes I’m from Wisconsin. 😊
Could totally tell It was close to MN lol
Leah Hanson and here I didn’t think I had the accent and everybody else did. Lol. 😊
@@LisasColoringCorner wow my hometown. I live in Wisconsin.
I would like you to diamond painting on you channel
SIobhan SCarborough I’ve been thinking about doing a diamond painting and chat. I’ve only done one and that was a long time ago.
More colouring of different colour book and colour pens
I love listening to and watching swatching review pens
Thank you! A tip: talk less, do more.
