Hello Kate , I am Helen from NSW AUSTRALIA. My cousin from Queensland AUSTRALIA , who is a long time sewer and embroider ,thought I might enjoy your videos . I thank you very much for them , I am currently crocheting but embroidering and sewing blouses are on the list for future . I learn lots and in a society that seems to based on buy everything and create nothing it is so nice to see how life used to be and it was good , creating , using what you had and creating what was needed . I am 68 so I know what a wonderful thing it was to learn from the generations before !!! and how satisfying to created your own thing from the beginning your way !!! Thanks for reminding me of life as it is supposed to be !! I am inspired by it . Helen 🇦🇺
As a little girl, I had an aunt who lived far away. Every Christmas she would send a gift box full of “ bits and bobs”. She was a very creative person, and you just never knew what would be in the box. It was one of the best Christmas treasures and memories I have. Watching you gather together things to put together reminded me of my dear Aunt Knotty. You, too, are a treasure that has entered my life, inspiring my creative side daily.
At 76 yr I’m just starting a quilting journey EPP hexagons & with some scraps trying my hand at quilting after years of watching you Kate you have given me inspiration THANK YOU
Wishing everyone on the lime green sofa a fabulous Sunday wherever you are! Hope you are having a great cup of your favorite tea or coffee. I’m having a Carmel tea. I luv it!
I have somewhat guilty memories of asking the poor shopkeeper for, "A pennyworth of these, threepence of those." I'm 72 and was in Melbourne at that time. Loved those paper bags full of all types of sweets! Much like Kate's wonderful boxes or bags.
Our Christmas Tree is my most favourite thing ever. It is filled with memories of people, places and pets... and now you can be a part of it too - and that makes me incredibly happy :)
I just recently found your postings, and I really enjoy you. Your calmness makes me feel good. Love your precious heart. Thank you. I’m in Paw Paw, Michigan,
What a treat! The old Kate back, with a range of ideas and lovely objects, this was the way this channel was when I first started following. Such fun. More like this please!
A fabulous afternoon on the Lime Green Sofa!! Thank you, Kate, for this lovely share of your Emporium 💖 and Anna and Rita for helping! I hope everyone had a lovely time!🤗
Hello It’s 4 am American time and I’m sitting here with my coffee and two puppies I just love staring my day Watching you and Anna I love watching your videos they are so calming and it makes me want to spend my day quilting and watching you ❤🎉
Congratulations on all the lovely items sold! It was a delight just to watch you sort and describe the accumulated pieces. The Lime Green Sofa gets larger and more decorated every day.
I just received my envelope of treasures and had to write to thank you. What fun! They are now a treasure to me. And it arrived so quickly from such a long ways away. I’m in Michigan USA. Kind of thrilling isn’t it? Many thanks! Im really looking forward to sitting down and going through the envelope. Thank you Kate and Anna. 🪿🐱
I am absolutely thrilled that you and Anna signed/stamped the little books. It's a (semi-personalized) greeting and I'm sending you my own greeting right back atcha from hot, sticky, New York. I'm happy to be supporting your shop. Thanks for the videos.
Karen, I have all of Kate's books and while they are not stamped and signed, she did include a separate lively signed card with the cat stamp and I keep them all together. It was so wonderful to read these little storirs and have the keepsake card. 🐈🐈🐈🐈
First time I’ve ever watched a new video when the emporium went live! The only things left just 3 hours after the video posted were some adorable Liberty Christmas trees, so I got those and will give them as gifts this year. Thanks so much!! (I really wanted that peach/coral colored Liberty pillow-oh well, congrats to whoever got it!!). 🎉
Love the emporium idea, and it was so nice to see so many items being snatched up! If you are doing any tallying of favorite items, i would have LOVED more bound books and more bag, book and bar offerings. I’m looking forward to receiving the other items i was able to order. I so love bringing your lovely presence into my home all these many years (I think i found kate when subscribers were closing in on 10,000). How you have grown, and we on the lime green sofa are the beneficiaries!!!
No matter how hard I try to check out the shop just as its uploaded with new things, I am always met with, "Sold Out!" on everything new. Glad everyone is making the shop is a success though!
Oh, Kate, you are a lady after my own heart. I jump from watercolor painting, to card making, to sewing, to junk journal making. Never enough to sell in my own Etsy shop. LOL. Thanks for such a wonderful video.
Dear Kate, what a lovely variety of little treasures you shown in the sorting office. Unfortunately I missed the Summersale by a few hours and nearly everything is Sold Out. Nevertheless I am so happy for you that everything sold so fast. Would have loved a surprise bundle or a B-times-3 (bag, book, bar) 🤣 or even the childrens book hexagons 😍 I will have a look again at your wonderful shop through July. ❤ xoxo from Germany Stephanie Also big thanks to Anna, John, Martha, Girl Rita and all the people participating and helping in the shop or with the Channel.
I'm so sorry, I didn't get a notification while you were live. I got the video last night 07/06/2023. I love to come visit with you. It feels like I follow you round your home. You always seem so calm, which is what drew me to your channel. Your mind never seems to stop with ideas. Mine is the same way. I love to create, anything and everything. Thanks Kate, and Anna 😊❤
I stumbled across your channel three weeks ago. Enjoying the content and you talking about all the things going on. Your like a longtime friend. I live in the Midwest of America and wish you well.
I missed out on a few things because I was deliberating, but I got a surprise bundle, a tea towel and a Liberty tree and I’m already looking forward to them! Thanks for the tutorial too. It makes me want to start sewing again.
What a lovely idea to bundle up your extras. But unfortunately the time difference of 6 hours is a handicap and everything has already sold out by the time that I get to watch. It appears that you had great success with this. Good for you!!!! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, although it's more than likely pretty close to Monday there.........lol lol lol Looking forward to the next visit. Blessings to you Kate...........I enjoy every second that we can "visit".
What a collection of treasures!! I have the same. Just ordered a pack of your treasures, and I noticed that most of the others are sold out! Now, I know the name of your grand darling....Agnes! How fortunate you are to have family included in your love of sewing and crafts. Then I watched your friends Arne and Carlos. Have a great week!!
I haven't even finished watching and gone to shop. Liberty scraps sold out sniff. But I got a Surprise Bundle and the Jigsaw. I am so looking forward to doing the jigsaw and as it is WINTER here in New Zealand - perfect timing! Love Leanne NZ
Re checkered pillow: Your instructions for a 12-inch pillow are to cut 1-1/2 inch strips, TWELVE OF EACH COLOR (video at 20:16). I did, and ended up with a net width of 24 inches. Where did I go wrong? (I believe your video shows only 6 strips of each colour.)
I just love your channel! As I am listening to this again while making dinner I thought you could do a mystery box! Just random things you find, projects you don't have a lot of, or just leftovers from your Christmas boxes could go there and since it's all random it could be fun!
Oh my goodness! I’m so enjoying this video. I have one of your personalized messages when I purchased your hexie pin cushion, and I still have it! Pin cushion too. I love grab bags and I’m sure they will “go out like rats when the Pied Piper comes to town”. Bless you, Kate. You are sharing your love yet again!
Hi Kate 👋🏻 Just wanted to say I received my parcel today. Thank you so much loved opening my very own stamped last lonely house parcel 😀first time ordering some lovely things thank you xx
I’d love a Norma book, she’s such a darling and she was an amazing grand senior lady, just like our beautiful Blackie Boy, who crossed the Rainbow bridge 🌈 this year at the ripe old age of 23yrs. When he was a younger cat, he was like big black panther. 🐈⬛Our fur babies are so special and precious ❤💙 I’m going to check out your shop and see if I can purchase a treasure bundle too. Hopefully you’ll post to Australia 🇦🇺 😊❤ “Thank You” so much Kate and Anna, I love your channel so very much xx
Hi, Kate. Leslie from Ohio, USA. I'm a 53 yr old mother to 8. I love to sew and quilt when I can. I have started an EPP, but other projects have crowded in. I love that you don't hurry, and enjoy the process. I learn something from every video. Thank you!
As I am watching this very enjoyable video on my tv screen, you just opened that box full of Liberty fabric and I am absolutely in awe! There is so much and it’s so beautiful! I could watch a video of you just showing every fabric piece in that box 😊🥰 lovely! I have found some scrap bundles for purchase and you have inspired me to make EPP Hexies with them. Such pretty and soft fabric.
I am loving the English paper piercing! I’ve never seen this before so I decided to give it a try. Making my granddaughter a pillow to match her quilt I just finished. I love your videos so much!!!
Thank you so much, Kate and Anna, for my beautiful parcel. I have just opened it. Monday 31st is my 60th birthday and I have saved opening my parcel as a very special birthday treat! Thank you again.
I find ur quilting interesting but what i really miss is all the different crafts u used to do, and especially your peaceful moments sitting by the lake and walking w eileen.
Wow Kate !!! It is lovely to see how enthusiastic you appear to be, but please please remember to pace yourself so that you don’t get poorly again.!! Luv Christine
Because of this video I started my own EPP star project a month ago. I added 6 pale grey diamonds around each star which creates a hexagon. It adds more negative space, and I'm hoping it will make it easier to put them together. I have 4 finished. From Southern California.
Hey Kate and Anna! Great video. Can’t wait to check out all the goodies at the shop. I love the pillows, the handmade books and everything. Hope all is well with the family! Thanks for sharing!
Kate: Have you thought about making simple storage type boxes with your left over fabrics? I have been using excess batting and left over fat quarters, etc. They are simple and I believe would sell well in your emporium
So glad I got to this only 35 minutes after posting! Got a few treats from the shop before sold out!! Always so lovely to hang out with Kate (and Anna!) Inspired😊
Thank you for a lovely look through your treasures, I missed out on a bag, a book and a bar but I might borrow the idea as gift I could make up myself for someone. A lovely way to recommend a book to a friend. Although I do read a lot of library books these days so I must remember not to put one of those in! 😂
Organization is so satisfying isn't it? How funny is it that I was sitting here going...ohhhh, that one, yeah grab that one to make another cushion LOL. John made some nice things didn't he? I didn't know you did jelly printing. A bag, a book and a bar, what a fun idea. I wonder if the mess up on addresses more often is from people using their phones. I know I can hardly type without it messing something up lol. I like "Emporium" as well. Congrats on selling out so much so quickly :)
Hi ladies… good to see you together in the Old Pink HQ again --like the ‘old days’ ! Emporium sold out really fast. Lovely things! Thank you on creative ideas on how to use some of the products . I was FINALLY able to purchase a cushion after a couple tries ( sold out) and am excited to receive it. Yes ! Do make more! Love, Marilyn D New Jersey , USA xx
22 April 2024 South Africa, hi Kate, I am making my way through all your videos on UA-cam. I love English Paper Piecing and have many quilts this way. I am not on Instagram. Love Liberty fabrics but they are too expensive. I am obsessed with Kaffe Fasset and co. fabrics and have quite a collection of their fabrics. We have a wonderful shop in Linden, Johannesburg and they have these fabrics. Love your videos, you speak so well that I can watch you for hours no matter what you are making. Keep well, and my best wishes to you x
Hi Kate. Love your videos. Just watched your Sunday chat from a couple years ago... I was wondering if you were going to put a book in your shop with your favorite recipes? Also, looking at the shop I saw a house shaped soft shelf.... Had you thought of making a doll house for Agnes like that but bigger?
Love your favorite goodies shown to us - gives inspiration ! All the time- it exciting to see your candles in equal triangles for candles and journey-,fun books and more- thank you! Sandi Myer from Florida!
Good idea Kate. Just wondered..would you offer more crafts that we can share with our grandchildren? Kits might help too, for us to make them ourselves? I have a three year old grand daughter ; I have knitted her a few jumpers, a knitted doll and clothes, a quiet book, a quilt and a dinosaur tail so far. And would love to get into sewing some hand smocked clothes, miniature story books, etc. So if you and others are interested, I would love you to lead us into making things for our grandchildren. Thank you Kate.
I just ordered after watching this video. Once again I waited too long and most everything was sold out, but I did find two items. I've been watching you for a few years and this is only my second order. Recently I did get your quilting journal. Have not used it yet but will soon. Thank you for all your videos. I do enjoy them so much.
Spending some time on the lime green sofa enjoying a cup of coffee with caramel flavoring. Watching you with your little treasures. I cannot wait to get my quilt planning book. I will treasure it and enjoy planning a quilt for each of my family members. ❤
Mi-aș dori foarte mult să am traducere in limba română , engleza mea nefiind atât de performantă ! Și totuși mă bucur enorm de filmulețele tale ! Sărutări din România !
I love watching these sewing videos and my sewing journey since 2010 which is now 13 years old and still going strong and been card making since 2007 - 2023 and started hot foiling on to my fabrics and look stunning with the foiled detail and looks amazing
Thank you so much for the free shipping! I missed out on most of the emporium offerings, but I enjoy jigsaw puzzles and absolutely loved the first one. When I went to order the current one when it was new, the shipping was too much for me to justify. (I’m in the US and completely understand it’s expensive to ship overseas). Tomorrow is my birthday and I have ordered my own present in the form of the Afternoon Sun puzzle. Feel free to send it by “slow boat;” I’m just thrilled to know it’s coming! Thanks as always for all of the beautiful, peaceful, and inspirational video 😊content.
Happy birthday! I hoped that the free shipping for July would mean that people who wanted the everyday Shop things might be able to get them! I hope you enjoy the jigsaw - beware of the left side - it is devilishly tricky! xxx
I love your videos Kate! I ordered your quilt journal and I love it! Now I’ve ordered your bag of treasures and can’t wait to see what I’ve received! Thank you!
I love Liberty Fabrics! They're so beautiful. Here in America Liberty Fabrics run at $32 a yard! Also, I'm so grateful for the tutorial on the Liberty Patch Pillows! I'm guessing those are going to go first, but, I can make several (for my girls' homes)! they are lovely!
Lovely to visit you today! So many bits and pieces! Treasures for sure. I love all. I’m a new user and find your u tube sessions so informative. Love from Linda in the USA, Massachusetts.
What fun, Kate's Emporium! Making a playlist will be so helpful. I still haven't made a journal yet, but plan to someday. You know, the elusive Someday. You always inspire. Have a wonderful week, Kate. Till we meet again.
I believe what you need for the pillow is (6) strips of each color, not (12). I cut (12) of each and that makes (24) strips. Looking at your pillow, there are (12) rows all together. Just a quick clarification for those who give this pillow a try. Kudos to Kate’s sewing skills to get the points matching up so well, I’m on my second attempt! Have never tried 1 1/2” strips before, not easy!
Oeee! I wish that box of Liberty was mine!! I’m in South Africa and shipping, import duties & the Rand/GB£ is making buying anything overseas impossible, sadly! But I can dream can’t I? I just love your videos & catching up with the years of Utube!

Wishing everyone on the lime green sofa a fabulous Sunday wherever you are! Hope you are having a great cup of your favorite tea or coffee. I’m having a Carmel tea. I luv it!
Thank you for the reminder that I wanted to make myself some soothing herbal tea. 😅 It's too late over here in Central Europe for my usual Darjeeling.
Your tea always looks so delicious. What's your usual brand/flavor?
My favorite cup of tea is a black tea scented with rose.
Sounds yummie
Have you ever had carmel dandelion?
As a child I remember buying sweetie “lucky bags”….your bundles are grown-up lucky bags ❤
I have somewhat guilty memories of asking the poor shopkeeper for, "A pennyworth of these, threepence of those." I'm 72 and was in Melbourne at that time. Loved those paper bags full of all types of sweets! Much like Kate's wonderful boxes or bags.
I’m watching this while binding a quilt! Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday!
Hugs!
Thank you and you too. From winter South Africa

Re-watching Sunday night's post as I cut out more template for my plus quilt. Hello from Newcastle upon Tyne.

I'm on a lunch break. And the music is lovely
Thank you for the relaxing video and all your hard work into putting lots of goodies into the emporium.
thank you for recognising the work - I do enjoy it , but sometimes it is a bit relentless! xxx
Such a lovely video (as usual). Thank you Kate.
Aah! Sold out of the lovely things I’d like to buy! Next time! Thanks Kate and the Last Homely House for the lovely videos xx❤
Received package yesterday. Love everything!
Spending some time on the lime green sofa enjoying a cup of coffee with caramel flavoring. Watching you with your little treasures. I cannot wait to get my quilt planning book. I will treasure it and enjoy planning a quilt for each of my family members. ❤
I love the Liberty scrap idea. I would definitely buy from the shop if you ever do that again 😊
You are so organized! I loved this today. This was calming and just love,y. ♥️🙏🕊✨🙋♀️🫖
I am watching all your lovely creations while making. I’ll pop over to your shop. ❤
Mi-aș dori foarte mult să am traducere in limba română , engleza mea nefiind atât de performantă ! Și totuși mă bucur enorm de filmulețele tale ! Sărutări din România !
Love watching your creative content! Sitting on the green sofa is like being with you in your peaceful world with animals, garden and friends.
Thank you, Kate!❤
What fun, Kate's Emporium! Making a playlist will be so helpful. I still haven't made a journal yet, but plan to someday. You know, the elusive Someday. You always inspire. Have a wonderful week, Kate. Till we meet again.
Love to see you and the lovely Anna together❤
What a lovely emporium stash you have!!! Can't wait to receive what I ordered! Thanks for pillow tutorial!!!❤😊
Liberty, so pretty! Been making lots of scrappy projects as well. Hope you are enjoying some tennis!
Hi Paula🌹
How are you doing?
Oeee! I wish that box of Liberty was mine!! I’m in South Africa and shipping, import duties & the Rand/GB£ is making buying anything overseas impossible, sadly! But I can dream can’t I? I just love your videos & catching up with the years of Utube!
I am cutting 2" squares to use when I begin my new quilt for my grown up grandson. Just found you and enjoying all super ideas.
Started watching this before heading off to work. Got in a few rounds on the sleeve of my cardigan before dragging myself away.
