The best version of Zombie out there... I asked a college friend for a Hardrock version of Zombie in 2008, when I got my 1st phone "with MP3" and he found this and sent it by Bluetooth. Oohh those old days :').
Anyone moaning about ‘01 reference needs to know that the day O’riordan died she was due to sing on the cover done by Bad Wolves, where it was changed to ‘18 and she loved the idea. Respect that.
Took a specific search for the song to bump into this 12 years later and let me tell you, I was looking for someone to have a raw, heavy version and this hit the nail on the head! Not sure where you are today but this blisters!!!
I love this song, used to have it 3-4 years ago, lost it, forgot about it, found the cranberries today, remembered it, found the cover i loved, i'm glad this day came!! I will never forget this song ever again...
потрясающий кавер! впечатляюще и до мурашек по коже... спасибо вам за него! / incredible cover! goosebumps while listening it... thank you for the cover!
This is a song about the perils of hate and that concept is universal to all wars, the message runs much deeper than NI, if the song can help open peoples eyes to ANY war then I'm sure the creators would be more than proud.
Xestantial Dunno man, I like the acapella vocals Miser do after the chorus but this cover has more feeling to it and the 'no more war' bridge is pretty cool! The only thing I don't like here is the change from '1916' to '2001'. I get why they did it but it seems disrepectful to the original message.
I´ve seen them in Bremen, Germany, last weekend. They performed this song, too.... And I have tu say.... HELL YEAH MAN. They now how to interprate it and also to heat the audience with it... A great Live-band. Must be seen.... Great show, THX for that
Ich finde das wirklich besser als das Original . Ich habe diese Band zufällig in einem Top 10 der brutalsten Zombiefilm-Tode gehört und fand sie super :D
So for whoever is bitching about this being a reference to 2001..." Zombie " Can be applied to any tragedy that lead to war. Yes 2001 was one of the more known tragedies of the world when this song was released by Breed 77. IF you ever listened to the band's music, they reference the hell, tragedy, and atrocities that war has caused in human history. So please, take your " politically correct " bullshit out the door, and just enjoy the fucking music. Oh and for people who say " Miser's/Breakpoint Method/ Cruskin's version " is better or whoever the fuck it is, can't you just go enjoy the version you prefer? I say all of them are great because it's a nod to a ballad of tragedy that the Cranberries originally performed. To everyone else, enjoy.
Just saying to all the people who think metal singers don't have good voices, this guy has a really, really, really good voice. He has real talent
Indeed 🍻

The timing of that incident upsets me, both for her passing and for us not being able to hear her sing the BW version and nail it like she would have

Ehem. Miser - Zombie?

Xestantial
The Cranberries were actually the original artist :)
Why does the upload date have anything to do with it?
They are, they released this song back in 1994! Look it up, honestly... The cranberries are a band from 80's and 90's. Learn your facts.
