I had to make a decision to turn my mothers medication off last Tuesday as she laid dying from damage caused by drug abuse and I’ve always used music to soothe my emotions and my moms drug addict friends called me a killer and a murderer for letting her pass away at 48 but it was the hardest decision I ever made in my 27yrs and your cover of this song helps me relate my emotions to something deeper and I don’t mean just the words but the way you vocalize it and I just wanted to say thank you for releasing this because it’s helping me get through a really hard time.

This has got to be one of the very few covers I've heard that perfectly changes the genre of a song while retaining all of the feeling of the original. The chorus has this incredibly weighty, almost painful quality to it that sounds like they're on the edge of tears.

At first I saw him through those "funny" yt shorts, but I was also intrigued about finding out about who this guy was, then I finally found it. I really like their voice. Might even add this to my playlist too. Not a fan of rock music, but his voice is amazing for making these types of covers.
