Still, a cover has yet to do justice to Dolores O'Riordan's emotional texture when delivering the last line of the lyrics, no coherent words, just ... pain ... so, so achingly beautifully sung.
i always loved this version just as much as the original and i also love the bad wolves cover. i feel like each one has its own feeling. the original had a somber sadness and frustration, the bad wolves has a distinct feel of loss, and i feel like leo had the anger aspect covered. thanks for the re-upload.

It's for those who died sensely through The Troubles and up into the bombings of Derry. Too many people have covered it and turned their videos into a sci-fi film. This is definitely not as good or as emotionally driven as the original Zombie... That song is really important historically and the original composition highlights a lot of emotion that this rendition loses.

Listening to this feels so good. Even though I'm excepted to be quiet but when listenting to anything around metal, punk and rock I feel like I can finally scream, it's just in my head but all this pain and frustration is finally able to voice itself. That feels so good. All those voices in my head for once do the same and all those inner children inside me scream their little lungs out and their hearts finally feel strong and alive again and no one can reach us or cover our mouth or forces us to be quiet. And now... I feel calm.... Listening to music is like slowly sliding into a warm, scented and relaxing bath and just enjoying the moment. I love it.

Just came across this guy. I have been listening to him for almost 4 hours now and can't stop. Absolutely fricking amazing. I am going make a CD of his music. Yes, I am "old school", but he needs to put an album out. Such energy he has. He gets into music as much as I do. It just takes me away when I listen to music. Like being in heaven.

This is a special song born of suffering and reaching for redemption. Leo does it justice but we must never forget where it came from.
This one reminds me again that a good cover should have a new interpretation of the original, by creating differences and more accentuating certain things also gives new insight in the original.

This is definitely not as good or as emotionally driven as the original Zombie... That song is really important historically and the original composition highlights a lot of emotion that this rendition loses.

Listening to this feels so good. Even though I'm excepted to be quiet but when listenting to anything around metal, punk and rock I feel like I can finally scream, it's just in my head but all this pain and frustration is finally able to voice itself. That feels so good. All those voices in my head for once do the same and all those inner children inside me scream their little lungs out and their hearts finally feel strong and alive again and no one can reach us or cover our mouth or forces us to be quiet. And now... I feel calm.... Listening to music is like slowly sliding into a warm, scented and relaxing bath and just enjoying the moment. I love it.
