My son’s pediatrician actually shared your videos with us to get a head start on language and we are so grateful! He’s really ahead on speech and being able to communicate with him has meant so much to us! Thank you!

That's so encouraging that your pediatrician recommended my videos...children and families benefit from an early focus on communication. It truly is a lifelong skill and having a great foundation is a beautiful gift we can give our kids. SOOO glad to hear that it has meant so much to you to be able to see him flourishing and be able to connect with him at such a young age. I LOVED reading your comment :):):)

Hello Adrienne! So happy that I found your Channel. I used to love to buy books for my little son 11 months old. Recently, I woke up in the morning and had this idea that came suprisingly to my head (and this happens when I pray a lot, I think Holy Spirit sometimes gives me some ideas that I would never thought of) the idea that I could watch a movie on yt about how to read to children. And thats how we together with my husband, found you and your movie with my first Word book, which is great and we also watched several others. We love your smile and tenderness. And finally, you very much remind us our good friend from Poland, who is such charming as you, had very similar smile and even voice tone and also she is similar visually. Her name is Adrianna in Polish. And she has got a son also born in October 2020! His name is John. So I sent her the name of your Channel. We loved to hear your story, happy that you can be back with your family!

I suspected a speech delay in our 2 year old 2 years ago and found your videos. My son is now in speech therapy pre-school. Now I come back for videos like the one you posted about waiting at the doctor’s office.

I was actually referred here by our speech therapist. My son did not continue with formal speech therapy because he was not actually delayed but the tools here helped us a lot.

I chanced upon your video a few weeks back. I especially enjoyed your how to videos on how you read books to kids. The ‘turn page’ the ‘slide’ verbal routine, and ‘windows help babies talk’ really helped my 16 m old. He was fully engaged in the activities recommended by you. Thanks so much.

I have used your videos in 2020 when my daughter was 18 months. Now I have a 13 months old and I’m rewatching your videos. I love them and love your voice and joyful demeanour. Please keep updating your content when you have time!
I love your tips on reading. It was super helpful! I would love more of that with kids in different age and with language delay. Would also love to have videos on learning different languages. I speak Cantonese and Mandarin as well and would love to hear and tips or tricks to teach this with my kids.

Also wondering if my daughter is mixing up “th” and “s” should I correct her every time I notice it? She is almost 4.

What a journey and welcome back! We would be super interested in the potty training. Our little one has regressed just like yours did, but we are having trouble motivating them to use the potty. So we can hardly wait for that video! (Also, we bought your online course a couple years back and it's been super helpful, so thanks for that.)

Thank you! Yes, the potty training video will be my next one, I think! I'm trying to get my husband to be on that video with me because he mostly did all the potty training with our son...he is the one who researched and implemented everything, so I think hearing his perspective will be really helpful. I'm so glad that my online course has been helpful for you...what a blessing!

Great suggestion! I've always thought about including conversations with children and how I play with them, and I've also decided not to share my children's faces on UA-cam, so it makes it a bit tricky to film without them looking at the camera 😅 But if I can figure out a way to do it, I think that would be helpful to demonstrate the concepts I teach!

So glad you’re back! Do you ever cover handwriting? The Little’s I watched your channel for a couple years ago are obv. older now and some of them really struggle with handwriting and now have to unlearn the incorrect directions in which they make the cyphers. I’m not their main homeschool parent but I supplement at “pod time”. Some possible dyslexia with a couple and no idea where to even help in that arena. Thank you!! Congrats on your growing family 🌺

Welcome back and congratulations on baby #2. I came to your channel after seeing it being recommended in moms group for SLP help and find it very refreshing. I love the way you provide actionable ideas and tips in a small video.
My LO is 2.5 yr old and started speaking more words only in the last 3 months.Till his 2 bday he had less than 30 words but recently is absorbing many many words in all three languages we speak. I am finding it difficult to get him from speaking few words to conversation and sentences. I recorded a few functional sentences for him cause he picked up words from recording of books so well and he uses these sentences now. However it feels like memorization ( eg: mom please read this book for me) he uses the same sentence for asking his dad to. He knows his father, calls him daddy otherwise but when asking uses the above sentence. Is that normal ?

Maybe try reading any book aloud and practice smooth, connected speech? Or attend a public speaking class?
