- Monster Hunter is one of my favorite series. Let's take a look at the spin-off Monster Hunter Stories. This game was first released on the 3DS and it's now remastered on the Switch with voice acting and quality of life improvements. I want to see how this performs on the Steam Deck via Switch Emulation so I'm testing it on yuzu Emulator.

Can you please, PLEASE test Outcast: A new beggining? the devs released a patch "for the steam deck" but no one show how it runs and i cant just trust the devs and buy it

Have u tried it from the steam store? I remember it being on the 3ds but it never worked proper lol
yes the 3ds emulation isn't that good for this game. i've never tried the steam version but the remastered switch version version is great so far! :)

I'm new to steam deck can I get some help. I put a quacked version of HW unleashed 2 onto my deck & it plays the tutorial race & goes to home screen but when I click the campaign it goes black & never starts. It pops up a press A to skip like a cutscene but it won't skip or start. I installed on my pc first then moved the installed folder onto my deck. Put on proton experimental. Any help appreciated cause I'm struggling with deck & linux.
Have you searched your issue on forums? Could be a common issue. I've never played this game so I don't have any input.
would you recomend yuzu or ryujinx on steamdeck
I recommend both, they are both free. Just keep them both and see which game runs better on which emulator 😉

@@GrownUpGamingGUG basically when u highlight the game you're about to play, a track of your choosing can play while highlighted. It didn't play every song but it's was nice

no i don't think so. i have the steam deck lcd and legion go. the rog ally x doesn't seem like a big enough performance leap for me to buy another gaming handheld. like the more and faster ram is great but it's not a game changer in my opinion. more battery is good but i can solve that with a power bank.

I'm confused as to why you're emulating the switch version given that a PC version also launched today as well. Seems pointless unless you want to pirate.
i bought this game on the switch so i can play it switch, pc and steam deck. if you're not planning to emulate it then why are you watching this video when switch emulation is mentioned in the title?
Its informative I'll give it to you, but as a normal pc consumer logically you're better off playing it on PC. But you're proving that yuzu emulation could work pretty well since its a beefy emulator. And that's fine but at least imo a little unnecessary.
@@sp00kypook76 it's necessary for someone who bought the switch version and their switch is broken or wants to play it on pc/steam deck without buying the game again.
