Pufferfish is edible and natural, naturally it will shut down your nervous system one function at a time if prepared wrong.

I'm half and half only because I've worked food industry jobs before. It looks like she already has good money but it doesn't hurt to work at a food packaging plant or a kitchen for a few months to get the idea. I worked at a meat place that had 3 layers of barwire fencing. Thats how seriously these places take their food safety. The most successful companies are VERY VERY strict about personel and their S.O.P's. I just feel like it should be common sense that food is a dangerous hustle if you're not completely on top of what you are doing.

Yes, tiktok- consumer pipeline is real! I work at a clothing store, and one of our tops went viral. Teen girls were calling the store all day everyday to see if they were in stock for like two months. We’d get them and they’d instantly sell out. One day we got shipment, I wish I knew how many units because it was sooo much. It’s calmed down a little bit, but now that it’s summer, so many people are still trying it on a day.
The consistency of that sauce in all of these videos looks so watery and nasty. Dipping sauces are thicker than that. I’m kinda mixed on this situation because I like seeing small businesses innovate and try new things and I feel like she had somewhat of a good intention in creating this product but especially with a food product you can’t just rush it to market without testing it for safety. People are going to eat that and if they get sick ultimately you’ll be held liable. It’s greedy to borderline scam people with poor packaging and unsafe food.
This is literally PF Chang’s Sweet Chili Sauce with dragon fruit. It’s like me making ketchup and simply adding garlic and wala, it’d be called garketchuant, or whatever color I decide to make the sauce, freakin purple sauce (simply add food coloring) this is not hard people. It looks gross, but I respect her for coming out and apologizing about the label. This would have been a great American Dream story if she would have taken more of the necessary procedures in order to have this sold. She could’ve had better packaging, ingredient list out, and a correct label before releasing, and then this would have been an even bigger hit. Overall, don’t think she’s a bad person with bad intentions, she just didn’t know any better and should have done more research. Kind of hopes this does well to see a success story come from tik tok that is positive.
@Kevin Gonzalex-James "she just didn't know any better". How does she not? She SHOULD. Penguinz0's video "Don't Eat Pink Sauce", features her defending herself by saying she's human, she's not perfect and the product is in lab testing WHILE selling it. "edible" and "natural" are weird buzz words in the culinary marketing world. Raw fish from a refinery contaminated lake is both edible and natural, but I wouldn't eat it. Cyanide is natural, wouldnt call it edible but in small doses it can be, still wouldn't play around with it for a meal. Pufferfish is edible and natural, naturally it will shut down your nervous system one function at a time if prepared wrong.
'My apologies...'
Lawyers waiting to sue: Sir, we got 'em.
Omg I've been wondering about this, I saw one girl who had ordered it but I didn't know what it was
I’m not gonna knock her for trying to monetize a novel idea but she definitely should have thought it through more. Personally, I would have first gotten a patent for the product and the brand before selling anything. Secondly, I would have looked to partner with an investor or even a brand that had the infrastructure in place to mass produce the product while complying with FDA standards (and would have the legal team in case anything went wrong). Hope she’s able to flip this idea into a sustainable business
You can't get a patent for mixing mayo and ketchup lmao
@@Sassssky it’s not ketchup and mayo lol there’s literally already a sauce like that and it’s not pink, it’s light orange
Actually, most investors won’t sponsor a product until they see it’s been obtaining revenue for a little while. But the rest is on point
This reminds me of that weird adult swim short where they also had pink sauce and it got so bad that solders were pouring it on guns and eating the guns, and everyone was at war for more pink sauce

Is it legal to sale food to people without ingredients? Wouldn’t this be a massive legal liability?
Arsenic is "all natural" too. Doesn't mean it's safe.
Idk I feel like this isnt't the worse thing to come out of tik-tok. Sure careless, but I see someone who had an idea and found a way to become profitable off of it. Like anyone who is new to something there's definitely a learning curve. Wouldn't be surprised to see this in stores in a few years.... or a class action lawsuit.
I agree and she's not a business major or have done some sort of business as far as I know of. She's just doesn't know the ins and outs of it. Especially with food because you have to be very meticulous about it.
@@rjrehda5795 true or have someone who knows about it or do extensive research. Or have a professional inspector
@@King9tails Exactly. As much time and money she's putting into it, it's just as easy to get ahold of a professional as a payed researcher. Hopefully she was just over excited for the venture and not just being greedy and selfish.

Another reason to the neverending list of reasons I don't want to download TikTok.
I agree 💯% with everything you said 👍🏽...I just don't understand how people fall for these "type of products".
Just look up an existing sauce and simply add something to it.
Do it, sell it, then talk.
That house was a Airbnb.
Should of gone to Shark tank and gotten a deal lol
No way in hell that's safe for consumption lol.
Every new business has struggles I hope she solves all the issues and I wish her the best of luck
If I go to a BBQ or cookout and I see my ribs drenched in that Tubby Custard, I'm ordering take-out and phoning the military for war crimes.
She apologized for the label mistake not for making people sick because of her greed :/
@Kevin Gonzalex-James "she just didn't know any better". How does she not? She SHOULD. Penguinz0's video "Don't Eat Pink Sauce", features her defending herself by saying she's human, she's not perfect and the product is in lab testing WHILE selling it. Why would she NOT take her product's ingredients and labelling seriously as a businesswoman and be okay to look stupid/suspicious?
There is NO room for mistakes. You think she genuinely doesn't know better, yet takes risks of endangering people's lives and getting sued??
So she is taking no responsibilities for making people sick & you respect her? LMAO

I'll never understand why my generation and especially gen z becomes so offended when ppl say how truly awful we are... it's the truth.
There's 67 million people that are gen z, you can't be blaming a whole generation for the bad things only SOME PEOPLE do.
That isn’t at all true tf? How can you not understand? It’s pretty obvious why. Who wouldn’t get upset when you called them awful for something someone else did? This might be a hard concept to understand but most people don’t enjoy being generalized.
Maturing is realize younger people for the most part are awful no matter what generation you're talking about. Teenagers are the worst
It's actually the world view you choose to look at that's awful. And the fact you think you can speak for an entire generation, or even tell others what to think tells me you're not worth the thought.
Cuz the older generations were much better😒. At least we aint marrying cousins, enslaving people and killing people for having different cultures and beliefs💀. For the most part at least we aint.
