The 4 hour dirt race on the original Crew will always be the best.
That 22 min new york run was with countless cuts of the track after they patched that best run you could possibly do was around 26 min
This race will never hold a candle to new York. This race damn near put me to sleep when I first played it especially in the mini Cooper segment
The main difference between this game and the crew 2 is that this game is pure racing that required more raw skill, yet the crew 2 was more about shortcuts requiring more knowledge.

The races and rewards are waaay better on motorfest, but the crew 2 map will always be the best for me
This same race around Oahu in Test Drive Unlimited was like 50 minutes in the fastest cars.
It’s disappointing the longest Crew race is now as long as a Forza Horizon Goliath race. New York just felt more epic.

I always grinded New York because I prefer doing a long race a few times than doing a shorter race a 100 times. Although I learned the shorcuts in New York I do appreciate their being no cuts. That should help my place on the leaderboard and WTH Sid. You didn't show how much money it gave.

Can also use 1 street car for the first two sections then a hyper. So if you find best street you can just use that car

I'm from Oahu, so for me I like the mainland map a lot better, but that's because I live on Oahu and have driven this island WAY to much in my life.

@Mark_Blanes the game is definitely different, which is nice, as for the Volcano and the black sand beaches those are from the big island, and a few other things are from other islands as well, i live out in Ewa and the first thing I did in the game was drive out here, not even close In the game how it really is out here, but it's a game of course and I like how they make the island look a lot less populated and more old Hawaii feeling.

The last supercar blondie race is i think one of the top 5 longest ones
It’s also got the best payout for the time, averaging about 40k per 4-6 mins.
My fastest new york time ever was 28:58, I remember my celebration when I got under 29 mins
Give it some time and they will add the build your own race feature in this game as well so we can make the longest races.
I never knew the shortcuts well not the big shortcuts but i loved the new york paayout i liked this map more though cuz i hated the 33 minute race but best paying in tc2

Biggest problem I have with the races featuring vehicle changes is that they seem to be single player only.
Multiplayer has vehicle changes too. Just play the main race in the featured mode. Don’t know what it’s called but it changes every 10m
Grand race, uses 3 different vehicles, they change exactly like a Live extreme series race dude only with just cars for now.

Grand Races can make ya more money then this lol i have gotten top 10 every grand race ive done and got multiple, multiple top 5s and i get around 70 to 110k from doing them so for me it seems like thats the best way to make money plus grand races take about 6 to 7 min

Here's where the map size disappointment kicks in... The Crew 2 had a race that at its fastest, you'll be sub-23 mins to complete which goes from right of the map to left in a pretty straight line and a race in Motorfest that currently (on week 2 mind you) is sitting at 12 minutes at its fastest which goes "around" the map. So the entire circumference of Oahu is about the same distance as the radius of the USA map. Huge map size downgrade
There will probably be 2 islands added, the ones at the top and bottom of the map, so if they add bridges this map will probably be bigger and they might make a longer race idk just a theory

Its One to One ... not colon - but i like New york better because fast faving in race is not that great if you just switch from car to car is way worse than switching to a boat plane or bike. and cruising is much worse in motorfest - still enjoy the game but not the events

I would rather this. Firstly can pick different cars. So it changes through out. Looks nicer. No short cuts and handling is better. Yea woudl be good with a bigger payout. But seems like this game is easier to make money on
Shortcuts is what makes it engaging and the varied terrain made it interesting. This race is incredibly boring in my opinion since there are hardly any turns and most of the map from this perspective looks the same.

I wonder if people forget about Crew 1 I actually enjoyed the crew 1 besides the few vehicles and some other slight issues it was a good game and it had that coast to coast race from the west to east coast, it’s about an hour long race literally lmfao and they have another race called Leaving L.A and that one is actually long the average time is 1 hour and 30 minutes and that one just loops from L.A through the north west and Midwest.

I had a 26:25 in the New York race so I’m heavily in favor of that. Motorfest has a great fun factor while the crew 2 has more of a grind factor. A lot of things are handed to you in the motorfest in terms of rewards where as the crew 2 you really gotta grind the game. I prefer the summit and the game modes in the crew 2 especially the New York race as it has a pretty much endless skill gap too it. I’ve done it hundreds of times and still find it hard to get bored of. How ever I’ve had motorfest a few days, money is really easy to get the multiplayer is fun but man a few races here and there you’re bored of it. The playlist are kinda basic but I do love the upgrade in car enthusiasm. Sounds, looks, and handling have a bug upgrade but I’m over here just wanting to grind something but there’s really nothing competitive when you can rewind in every race🤷♂️
