To anyone saying that no traffic is cheating, it isn't. Just like Wes said in another comment it is pure randomness. You can predict where the traffic spawns, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Live with it. This guy did a 23:10 with traffic just the run before it and had the pace to do a 22 with traffic aswell. It's just easier without it, if u wanna keep complaining then do it, no one cares about you being bad. Start practicing instead if it's "hacks" xD
You're forgetting that in some situations you just can't drive a race track without hitting traffic. If this game does not want you to set a record, then you will not set it, no matter how fast you are. All races with traffic are pieces of shit for luck, where skill decides at most 50 percent
I'm at the Salt flats around 18min mark. I had a no traffic run once, maybe saw 2 cars the whole time, my fastest was a 30:24 something. since then Its been a 31:50-32:20 no matter what car I used. Though never used the Chiron because of how OP it is to begin with.
This is why people don't like this game even my friends, its completely different play when you want to keep up on top of the tables, but if you learn the skills how and got all parts upgraded it gives you that satisfaction that you rocking hard, at the moment I am drifting with street cars for fun, before seemed impossible, you put time and learn how everything is possible lol

I don't do any shortcuts, cos I don't know any, but my best time is 28:58. I use a fully upgraded Bugatti Chiron police interceptor.
