I think kits a good idea to wtrite both hands...kids can learn lanquages and stuff easily ....the neurons are able to carve many paths and that should not stop until your dead....life will be longer and better keeping that brain moving.
There are many studies that say trying to "force" a person to learn to be ambidextrous is not a good idea neurally, especially when young. It can stunt brain development including memory and logic. It's like the cliché "jack of all trades, master of none". But I do agree in your situation, trying to improve one's non-dominant side that is affected less is a necessity.

Wow, I thought it would be good for the brain. But maybe the word force is the difference. If you do it willingly, maybe it's okay?
i just googled it. Yeah, there are studies like that. Maybe that's why my memory stinks, LOL
