Hard to believe that you guys "loved the show" when you can't even get the main characters name right. Half of these so called "dark" secrets are neither secrets, no are they dark.
I heard it as well and when she first said it I thought it was an accident but when she kept calling him that I started to think that maybe that's what she thought his name was or maybe I've had his name wrong all these years.
This show should have NEVER been cancelled!! This show could be on mainstream tv. As an adult, it was my favorite show and I grew up watching the original. I just want to know why?? We need quality tv.
It was cancelled most likely because of the Entitlement episode, a no no in Hollywood. Preaching you need to earn rather than be given stuff is like Satanic behavior to them. It would also make sense as well because no other network jumped to grab this hit show, and at the time it was cancelled was a bonafide hit series.
I didn’t really care for Joshaya but that was more about the age/experience difference. Their age difference isn’t a big deal when you’re older but when one is starting high school and one is starting college it comes off as kind of creepy. Frankly Josh suggesting they long game came off as grooming. I get that that’s not what they were going for and I understand why people liked them but I wish he would have just been in high school like them. I also wish Riley and Lucas hadn’t ended up together. I felt like it would have been better for Riley, who has very unrealistic expectations about love because of her parents, to realize that most people don’t end up with their first love and that’s fine. I would have preferred her to be single or with someone not in the group at the end.

The real reason that Disney Channel cancelled the show is because after 3 seasons the company has to triple the pay that the actors get. Like for example there was only 3 seasons of Hannah Montana but we all got to see her reveal her secret in a fourth season because they created another show called Hannah Montana Forever. They did the same with Liv and Maddie. There was the original Liv and Maddie but after 3 seasons they changed it into a new show called Liv and Maddie Cali Style. That’s how Disney makes more money and keeps it.

Let me just say that the thing you referred to as a dark episode wasn’t to my mind dark at all. The darkest things that was covered by the show were three things. World war 2, autism, and bullying. Especially bullying. And they covered those issues very well. My hats off to them for covering those issues.

This show could have been more successful somewheres else or at least on one of Disney's older networks, it was too censored to actually tackle anything serious or deemed too "adult" for the channel it was on. Guys, c'mon, Disney is a freaking KID channel. It's meant for KIDS and early teens, why would a show that was made for children talk about things like sex?!?! Don't you think that exposing our children to that kind of stuff, like sexuality, money, politics, at such an early age is taking their innocence away?? Doesn't that makes them grow up way faster than they should? And there is something else, these types of subjects have to be explained to the kids through the parents, not a TV show that will probably give off the wrong idea, or an idea that doesn't matches the parents moral standards. Actually I once had the awesome chance to talk to a Disney child actor and they said that Disney's policy is that on shows that star children they only go three seasons so as not to burn them out. They do offer them to be able to go other directions. They did say that on rare occasions they will go four seasons but the policy is three.

Let me just say that the thing you referred to as a dark episode wasn’t to my mind dark at all. The darkest things that was covered by the show were three things. World war 2, autism, and bullying. Especially bullying. And they covered those issues very well. My hats off to them for covering those issues.

No, its her job as a voice over artist to get the lines right and rerecord them if necessary. There is no excuse for callibg the #1 main character of a major show (not to mention the show that Girl Meets World spun off from), that the voice over artist claimed to be a fan of, by the wrong name.

It should have been on another network, everyone knows Disney wasn't going to let them tackle serious issues like sex and so forth, it was just a bad choice by them, then again they make a lot of bad choices and hide it by "pivoting" projects.

This show could have been more successful somewheres else or at least on one of Disney's older networks, it was too censored to actually tackle anything serious or deemed too "adult" for the channel it was on. This show didn't live up to the original's name by a long shot but I think it could have had that chance if given the right tools.

Guys, c'mon, Disney is a freaking KID channel. It's meant for KIDS and early teens, why would a show that was made for children talk about things like sex?!?! It makes no sense, I wouldn't let my kids watch it. Don't you think that exposing our children to that kind of stuff, like sexuality, money, politics, at such an early age is taking their innocence away?? Doesn't that makes them grow up way faster than they should? And there is something else, these types of subjects have to be explained to the kids through the parents, not a TV show that will probably give off the wrong idea, or an idea that doesn't matches the parents moral standards. Keep our kids save, cherish their innocence, that's what's important, and some people are totally forgetting that.

Actually I once had the awesome chance to talk to a Disney child actor and they said that Disney's policy is that on shows that star children they only go three seasons so as not to burn them out. They do offer them to be able to go other directions. They did say that on rare occasions they will go four seasons but the policy is three.
